Madam Glam I Love Winter Review

Madam Glam I Love Winter is one of those dark polishes that I love deeply in cold days *-* It has a dark purple/maroon jelly base filled with lots & lots of glitters in gold, brick red and copper. This polish is opaque in two colors over a black or purple base or three coats alone. The bottle is kind of skinny and I personally think the logo could be improved (my opinion). 

O verniz Madam Glam I Love Winter é mesmo um daqueles vernizes escuro que amo usar nos dias frios *-*  Tem uma base jelly roxa acastanha escura com imensos glitters de várias cores (dourado, vermelho tijolo, cobre e roxo). O verniz por si só cobre as unhas com três camadas (ou duas generosas); cobre com duas camadas sobre uma base preta ou roxo escuro e fica lindíssimo! O frasco é alto e fininho (engraçado), mas não sou muito fã do logo e acho que têm espaço para melhorar. 

These sort of colors beg to be mattified don't you agree?? haha Well, I did so using Mash Matte Top coat. Then I stamped a baroque design from Fab Ur Nails FUN 20 stamping plate using Barry M Gold Foil Effects (I didn't seal it with anything because I wanted the matte vs shiny result).

Não acham que este tipo de cores grita por top coat matte? Pois, eu acho que sim! hehe Vai daí que matifiquei com duas camadas do top coat matte da Mash :D Depois de seco, carimbei o desenho algo barroco da placa Fab Ur Nails FUN 20 com o verniz Barry M Gold Foil Effects (no fim não selei com top coat para ficar com o contraste entre matte vs brilho).

Catherine 548 Review

In the last In Beauty I received the Catherine 548 polish to review and share my thoughts of. This is a limited edition color and is the exact same color as the Catherine brand (I compared haha). It was the first polish I ever tried from this brand, and hence I was super curious about it. 

Na última In Beauty, recebi o verniz Catherine 548 para rever e partilhar a minha opinião sobre o mesmo. Trata-se de um verniz de edição limitada cuja cor é exactamente igual à cor vermelha já tão conhecida da marca Catherine (e sim, eu comparei hehe). É o primeiro verniz que testo e confesso, estava mesmo muito curiosa com a formula!

I love the red color because it's deep and has and orange undertone - super sexy I must say! Catherine 548 (11ml) has a jelly finish and medium pigmentation, covering nails in two/three coats. I noticed the formula dried fast and has such a great glossy shine! The bottle is different from the ones I own andst looks very nice; it has a round "body" with a golden, chic cap. The brush is flat and just like I love. 

O verniz Catherine 548 (11ml) tem um tom vermelho vibrante porque tem um subtom laranja interessante. É bastante bonito e sexy! :) O acabamento é jelly e cobre as unhas com duas/três camadas. Apliquei três porque não gosto de ver a extremidade branca da unha. O brilho é espectacular e seca rápido. O frasco também é bonito e sexy (só estou a ver coisas sexys hoje ehehe); tem um corpo de vidro redondo e uma tampa dourada muito chic! já o pincel é achatado como eu gosto e facilita a aplicação.

Red & black always look super nice together, right? I agree! :) I started the following nail art by doing a gradient featuring Catherine 548 and the black Kiko 275 using a make up sponge. Then, I stamped the beautiful detailed image from EDM05 stamping plate with Barry M Gold Foil Effects. I looooove this!!

Porque preto e vermelho são cores que resultam sempre bem, decidi fazer uma nail art nestes tons. Comecei por fazer um gradiente com os vernizes Catherine 548 e Kiko 275 (preto), com uma esponja de maquilhagem. Depois, carimbei um padrão bastante detalhado da placa EDM05 com o verniz de carimbo dourado Barry M Gold Foil Effects. Adoreeeeeei!!

Mollon Pro 217 Mellow Cherry Review & In Beauty Nails

Yesterday I posted an overview of In Beauty (beauty fair) that happened last weekend in Lisbon (in Portuguese, but you can see check the pictures and read with google translator). Today I want to show you the nails I used for that special day as well as share my review of one of Mollon Pro Fall 2015 polishes.

Publiquei ontem uma revisão da feira de beleza In Beauty que decorreu no fim de semana passado em Lisboa e hoje quero partilhar a manicure que usei! :) Aproveito, e partilho também a review do verniz Mollon Pro 217 Mellow Cherry da nova colecção de Outono 2015.

First, lets start with Mollon Pro 217 Mellow Cherry - what a beautiful color!! I was in love as soon as I saw it *-* It has this vibrant red wine (bordeaux) color. The formula is great, easy to apply and very pigmented, covering nails in almost one single coat. Very good indeed!

Vamos primeiro começar pelo verniz Mollon Pro Mellow Cherry - que cor linda!! Apaixonei-me logo que o vi *-* Trata-se de um tom bordeaux vibrante e sexy. A formula é excelente em todos os sentidos; fácil de aplicar e tão pigmentada que quase cobre com uma única camada. Muito bom!

For this nail art, I applied Jade Black Tie in my pinky, Kiko 275 in ring finger, Mollon Pro Mellow Cherry in middle finger and FUN Lacquer Queen in the other nails. Then I stamped the image from UC 4-02 stamping plate in ring finger with Barry M Gold Foil and placed a round stud in middle nail. I actually wasn't sure on what to where for the beauty fair, but I was very pleased with this manicure :)

Apliquei o verniz Jade Black Tie no dedo mindinho, Kiko 275 no anelar, Mollon Pro Mellow Cherry no médio e o verniz FUN Lacquer Queen nas restantes unhas. Carimbei a imagem da placa UC 4-02 com o verniz Barry M Gold Foil Effects e coloquei um stud redondo no dedo médio. Não tinha ideia nenhuma do que ia usar na In Beauty, mas fiquei bastante contente com esta manicure :)

Messy Mansion MM 52 Stamping Plate Review

Today I have my review of Messy Mansion MM 52 stamping plate to share with you, as well as two manicures with it :) 

Trago-vos hoje a minha review da placa de carimbo Messy Mansion MM 52, bem como duas manicures que fiz com a mesma :)

Messy Mansion MM 52 stamping plate has an aztec theme. It's a different plate from the ones on the market and it's actually the first aztec plate I own. About the stamping quality, I found no flaw at all. The designs are well etched and transfer perfectly to the nais. If I was picky, I would point out the absence of a backing... but that's not negative at all (just girly) because it allows for easier cleaning :)

Como já perceberam, o tema da placa Messy Mansion MM 52 é asteca. Contém desenhos muito diferentes do que já existe no mercado com este tema (muito  pouco por sinal). É aliás, a primeira placa asteca que tenho :p. Quanto à eficiência de carimbar, a placa é perfeita e os desenhos estão bem gravados, sendo que transferem muito bem para as unhas. Não tenho nenhum defeito a apontar. Mas se for picuinhas, posso referir que a placa não tem uma parte de trás protectora, mas tal não é negativo porque facilita a limpeza da mesma :)

An aztec plate surely calls for an aztec manicure, right?? Although I understand nothing of what the pattern mean, I still loved the out come haha! This manicure started with a gradient between two sand textured polishes: Esmalteria da KK Champagne-me (light nude with gol shimmer) and Love Me Tender (gold with copper shimmer). Afterwards, I stamped several patterns from MM 52 plate with DRK Marrom Metálico stamping polish et voilá! :)

Isto não tinha por onde enganar hehe. Com uma placa de tema asteca, óbvio que ia fazer uma manicure no mesmo âmbito :p A verdade é que não percebo nada do que representam os desenhos, mas adorei o resultado final! Esta manicure começou com um gradiente usando os vernizes de acabamento arenoso Esmalteria da KK Champagne-me (nude com shimmer dourado) e Love Me Tender (dourado com shimmer cobre). Por fim carimbei com o verniz DRK Marrom Metálico et voilá! ;)

The second manicure I did is a more soft. I picked the triangle shape of the plate and made a stamping decal with reverse stamping. Tribal geometric patterns are quite in these days and that was my goal ;) Among the several colors used, the stamping polish was DRK Marrom Metálico (once more :p). In the pinky and thumb nails I applied two coats of Elke Meteorito which has a brown textured matte finish filled with gold and red shimmer. It's actually quite gorgeous! In the other nails there's three coats of Barry M Gelly Huckleberry and everything was mattified with Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt <3

A segunda manicure é algo mais suave. Sabem que os padrões tribais estão bastante in actualmente, por isso escolhi o triângulo da placa e fiz um adesivo de carimbo. Usei vários vernizes e o de carimbo foi o DRK Marrom Metálico (uma vez mais :p). No dedo mindinho e polegar apliquei duas camadas do verniz Brasileiro Elke Meteorito. Tr   v   ata-se de um verniz arenoso castanho matte com shimmer e brilho vermelho e dourado. É lindo! Já nas outras unhas apliquei o Barry M Gelly Huckleberry (azul) e Coconut (nude) e finalizei com top coat matte <3

Birthday Nails & Esmalteria da KK #Surtei

So... happy birthday to me! haha Yes, I'm 26 years old now... where did time go?? I want to share my birthday manicure with you because, lets face it, you want to see it too! :p I don't know why in special ocasions my creativity goes out the window because today's manicure is ok but not outstanding. I knew I wanted a blue glitter because well... I deserve sparkle in my life! hahah

Bom... consta que hoje é (foi) o meu aniversário! hehe :) Ah pois é, agora tenho 26 anos... não faço ideia onde é que o tempo foi parar! Como prezada viciada em vernizes que sou e que adora (muito) ver as manicures de aniversário das amigas, também tinha que partilhar a minha (não me tentem enganar que eu sei que estão curiosas!) :D Até ontem à noite só sabia que queria um glitter azul e lindão... porque sim, eu mereço brilho nesta vida! hahaha

In the following pictures you get to see three coats of the gorgeous blue glitter that is #surtei by Esmalteria da KK. I've been saving this polish for months just to use it today :) The formula is a bit thick but manageable and doesn't flood cuticles. I applied three coats of top coat to achieve a glossy finish.

Nas fotos seguintes vêm três camadas de um glitter azul lindo que é o #surtei da Esmalteria da KK. Já andava a guardar este glitter há meses para o poder usar hoje :p Trata-se um verniz artesanal com formula algo espessa, mas fácil de aplicar sem escorrer para as cutículas. Quanto ao brilho, este menino come o top coat, por isso tive de aplicar três camadas de top coat para conseguir uma superfície suave e brilhante. Mas o brilho... é LINDO!

I wasn't sure about black or gold roses on top of the blue, so I went with both! I do love roses in my nails, in any way and with any colors.  These roses come from Winstonia W-04 stamping plate and were stamped first using Mundo de Uñas Black and then Barry M Gold Foil Effects <3

Não tinha bem a certeza se queria carimbar com preto ou dourado.. então escolhi os dois! Sabem que adoro rosas nas minhas unhas, sejam de que tipo e cor forem. Estas em particular pertencem à placa de carimbo Winstonia W-04 e foram carimbadas primeiro com o verniz preto Mundo de Uñas Black e depois com o dourado Barry M Gold Foil Effects <3

Uber Chic Geek Love - 01 Stamping Plate Review

Besides stamping plate sets, Uber Chic also has several individual themed ones. And today I'm going to share my opinion and review about Uber Chic Geek Love-01 plate :)

Até agora, tenho revido sets completos de três placas cada um da marca Americana Uber Chic. Mas, a mesma também tem placas individuais disponíveis. Uma delas, e a que hoje vou rever e dar a minha opinião, é a Uber Chic Geek Love-01 :)

I am in love! This plate cute, awesome and funny images that I just cannot ignore :D It's hard to pick a favorite... but maybe the elvish words would be that one :p Uber Chic Geek Love-01 contains 63 designs, 13 full nail patterns and 50 individual designs. The quality of stamping is superb and the designs are etched very good. I have nothing to point yay!

Estou encantada! Esta placa contém desenhos super engraçados e espectaculares com o tema Geek :D É difícil escolher o meu preferido... mas se tiver de ser, escolho as letras élficas <3 A placa de carimbo Uber Chic Geek Love 01 contém 63 desenhos, 13 padrões de unha inteira e 50 pequenos. A qualidade do carimbo e a gravação das imagens é excelente; nada negativo a apontar :) 

My point of view is that those elvish words are the same ones written in the Lord of the Rings ring. Of course I am not sure of that at all, but who cares? :p The base was created using several nude and gold polishes (Colors by Llarowe Blonde Ambition, FUN Lacquer King, Barry M Gold Foil Effects and Color Club Antiquated) with the saran wrap technique. Then I stamped the letters with DRK Marrom Metálico stamping polish. I am in LOVE!!

Na minha perspectiva, as letras élficas correspondem ao anel do livro e filme Senhor dos Anéis; mas obviamente que não tenho a certeza de tal :p Seja como for, os tons dourados desta manicure foram inspirados no anel. Usei vários vernizes dourados e nude (Colors by Llarowe Blonde Ambition, FUN Lacquer King, Barry M Gold Foil and Color Club Antiquated) e criei a base com a técnica saran wrap. Para carimbar usei o verniz DRK Marrom Metálico. ADOREI!! 

The second nail art was done using two instagram patterns from this plate. Did I mention that i love this plate? haha. The base was also created using the saran technique, but this time with a foam instead of the cling plastic film. Polishes used were Mollon Pro Extrême 06 Cappucino, Barry M Coconut and regular white. I did stamping decals with the two IG images and used DRK Marrom Metálico for stamping.

A segunda nail art foi feita usando duas imagens da rede social Instagram. Já vos disse como adoro esta placa?? Hehehe. Fiz a base usando também a técnica saran wrap, mas com uma esponja em vez de película aderente. Os vernizes usados foram o Mollon Pro Extrême 06 Cappucino, Barry M Coconut e branco regular. Para fazer os adesivos de carimbo usei o verniz DRK Marrom Metálico.  

Finally, we have a more simple yet funny black &Yes white nail art. This is three coats of Yes Love 337 and I used Esmaltes da Kelly Pinguinho as the black stamping polish. The "I run because Gandalf told me to" obviously belongs to UB Geek Love 01 :D The french design was intended to be the track where someone is going to run (haha) and was stamped from MoYou Origami 06. Everything was topped with Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt.

Por fim, temos uma manicure mais simples mas que também gostei muito :p Pintei as unhas com três camadas do branco Yes Love 337 e carimbei a frase "Corro, porque o Gandalf assim o disse" com o verniz de carimbo Esmaltes da Kelly Pinguinho. A francesinha pontilhada vem da placa MoYou Origami 06 (a ideia foi ter uma pista para correr xD). Matifiquei tudo com o top coat Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt.
