Happy Easter! :) I'm working this weekend (the last one!), but I still have time to eat some almonds and chocolates as well as share with you my simple Easter nail art.

Feliz Páscoa! :) Estou a trabalhar este fim de semana (o último!), mas consegui arranjar um tempinho para partilhar convosco a nail art deste fim de semana (e arranjei tempo para também comer amêndoas hihi).

I honestly didn't have much time for Holiday nail arts this year, but I had to do something for this weekend. For the base I picked Purple Professional 49 (such a sweet color!). Then I stamped the design from Curali 013 stamping plate with BP YaQinAn Pink, DRK Nails Marrom Metálico and MdU Spring Green polishes.

Confesso que este ano não tive muito tempo para me dedicar a manicures festivas de Páscoa. mas, não podia deixar passar o fim de semana em branco... como estou a trabalhar, fiz algo relativamente rápido. Primeiro pinteis três camadas do verniz Purple Professional 49 (tom tão fofinho!). Depois carimbei o desenho da placa de carimbo Curali 013 com os vernizes BP YaquinAn Pink, MdU Spring Green e DRK Nails Marrom Metálico.

Curali 013 Stamping Plate Review

Today I bring you my review of  Curali 013 stamping plate, one of the newest releases by the Spanish Brand.

Trago-vos hoje a minha review da placa de carimbo Curali 013 que faz parte dos lançamentos mais recentes desta marca Espanhola :)

Curali 013 is definitely a Christmas & Winter themed plate. I can't wait to use those designs next Winter! :D It does however contain a couple Easter designs and a lovely fox design <3 I can't choose my favorite! In terms of quality, the designs aren't deeply etched but they do stamp rather nicely. I'd say they are near the edge of not stamping properly, but all of my Curali plates stamp perfectly! 

O tema da placa de carimbo Curali 013 é sem dúvida o Natal e Inverno. Mal posso esperar por usar estes desenhos no próximo Inverno! :D Contudo, a placa tem dois desenhos de Páscoa e um desenho de raposas muito giro! <3 Não consigo escolher o meu preferido para variar :p. Em termos de qualidade, diria que a profundidade de gravação do desenhos está perto daquele limiar em que pode não carimbar bem. Contudo, todas as placas que tenham carimbam muito bem (incluindo esta)! :)

This first nail art I did with Curali 013 is something soft & elegant. I used it to go to an Interview for a new Job (it went super well!); I didn't want something too vibrant, but something that said "this is me and I love nail art". The base is ILNP I See You, a nude goldish holographic polish stamped with DRK Nails Marrom Metálico. I chose a sweater pattern and I find the result interesting :)

A primeira nail art que fiz foi algo elegante e discreto. O objectivo foi fazer algo discreto mas que claramente mostra quem eu sou e o meu amor por nail art, porque fui a uma entrevista. A entrevista correu bem! A base é o verniz ILNP I See You que tem um tom nude com toque de dourado e acabamento holográfico lindo! Carimbei o padrão de camisola com o verniz DRK Marrom Metálico. 

Now we have a festive nail art because well, tomorrow is Easter! ;) Easter demands for soft pastel colors. I did a base in pastel pink, purple, green, yellow and purple. The blend of the colors is so soft that they're barely visible <3 Over it I stamped the lovely Easter design with MdU Black polish. 

De seguida temos uma nail art de Páscoa porque né? :p A Páscoa exige tons pastel suaves, por isso optei por rosa, roxo, azul, verde e amarelo pastel. As cores misturam-se tão bem que é difícil perceber onde começa uma e acaba a outra <3 Sobre esta base carimbei o desenho de coelhos e árvores com o verniz de carimbo MdU Black.

GL Nails Baby Gel Polish Review & Butterfly Nail Art

Spring is here... as well as a new gel polish collection by GL Nails! The collection is named Butterfly Lovely (cute!) and at first it contained 6 gel polishes, however 4 more were added recently. This is a collection to transit from Winter to Spring because it contains both dark and bright colors.

E a Primavera chegou! Com ela chegou também a nova colecção de verniz gel da GL Nails que se chama Butterfly Lovely! :D Esta é uma colecção de transição de Inverno para Primavera, pois contém tanto cores escuras como alegres e vibrantes. A colecção saíu com 6 tons, mas entretanto foram lançados mais 4.

I'm starting with GL Nails Baby and will try to get the entire collection posted before Expocosmetics (1st weekend of April). Baby is such a sweet milky peach-y color! It has both pink as well as peach in the formula. The formula is quite sheer and may be opaque in 4 or more coats. For this review I applied four coats combined with GL Nails NutriOne base and GL Nails One top coat.

Vamos começar com o verniz gel GL Nails Baby, sendo que vou tentar ter toda a colecção online até ao 1º fim de semana de Abril em que vai decorrer a Expocosmética. Este Baby é mesmo um baby! ;) Tem um tom pêssego leitoso com toque de rosa que resulta numa cor bem fofinha :) Gosto muito da cor, mas a pigmentação para mim deixa a desejar... isto porque precisei de 4 camadas para cobrir as unhas. É um tom discreto... mas ficava feliz com 3 camadas ;) usei como base o GL Nails NutirOne e finalizei com o GL Nails NutriOne. 

So... butterfly collection... butterflies nail art, right? haha I'm being cheesy! :p I did stamping decals with the reverse stamping technique using glitter and then applied them in my nails. The butterflies belong to Curali 012 plate and were stamped with DRK Sangria and BP YaQuinAn Pink polishes. The glitter is Penélope Luz Sweet Dreams and did the decals over the Uber Chic Uber Mat. I was curious to see if I was able to seal the decals with GL Nails One top coat and I was! It turned out perfect and I love it! :D

Uma colecção chamada de borboleta... quão tola poderia eu ser e fazer uma nail art com borboletas? Muito eheheh! Fiz adesivos de carimbo com as borboletas da placa Curali 012 e carimbei com os vernizes DRK Sangria e BP YaQuinAn Pink.  O glitter usado foi o Penélope Luz Sweet Dreams e fiz os adesivos no tapete de Silicone Uber Mat da Uber Chic. Estava muito curiosa para ver o resultado final sabendo que finalizei com o top coat GL Nails One... ficou espectacular - adorei! <3

ILNP Showtime

Hope you had a nice weekend. I worked this past weekend, but it was uneventful :) My latest group buy was at Nailland, an European store. It was the frist time I did a purchase there and am very pleased with it. One of the polishes I bought is ILNP Showtime.

Passaram bem o fim de semana? Espero que sim :) Eu estive a trabalhar, mas decorrer sem preocupações. A compra de grupo mais recente que fiz foi na loja Nailland. Estamos a falar de uma loja Europeia e tenho a dizer que gostei de todo o atendimento e serviço. Um dos vernizes que comprei foi o ILNP Showtime.

It looks so luxurious! *-* A must have in my book! ILNP Showtime belongs to the Winter collection. It har a dark, deep berry pink color filled with scattered holographic particles and holographic shimmer. Super pretty! I matched it with a dress outfit I was using at the time, but went for simplicity. SO, I stamped the white flowers from Curali 012 stamping plate with MdU White <3

Este verniz é mesmo belo e luxurioso e, sem dúvida, um must have na vossa colecção! *-* Estou a falar de um rosa profundo e vibrante com shimmer holográfico e holografia dispersa. Fiquei apaixonada! Combinei o nail art com um vestido que estava a usar na altura, mas escolhi algo simples; carimbei as flores da placa Espanhola Curali 012 com o verniz MdU White.

Curali 011 Stamping Plate Review

Hola guapas! :)

Did you know that Curali recently released new stamping plates?? Yes, and I have three plates to show you guys, although today we're only focusing in Curali 011 :D Curali is a brand from Spain with super cute stamping plates, International shipping and you also enjoy my 10% off cupon: "clockwise10".

Sabiam que a Curali lançou novas placas de carimbo no mês passado?? Claro que sim! ;) Tenho três placas para rever e partilhar convosco, mas hoje vamos focar-nos só na placa Curali 011 :D A Curali é uma marca Espanhola que tem placas de carimbo super fofinhas, envio Internacional (e jeitoso para nós países vizinhos) e podem ainda usufruir do meu cupão de 10% de desconto  adicional "clockwise10". 

Curali 011 contains a mix of Winter & Christmas designs. There's a snowman, snowflakes, trees and cute fantastic animals... plenty of stuff! (I don't know how I resisted the snowflakes though haha). I noticed that this plate isn't deeply etched as other brands. However, it stamps well and some designs require light scraping such as the trees. 

A placa Curali 011 contém um mix de desenhos com o tema Natal e Inverno. Tem bonecos de neve, flocos de neve, árvores... enfim, muito por onde brincar :) (aliás, nem sei como resisti aos flocos de neve hehe). Reparei que a gravação dos desenhos não é muito profunda (se compararmos com outras marcas). Não obstante, todos carimbam bem! :) É necessário raspar alguns desenhos levemente como as árvores, mas transferem bem para as unhas.

My first nail art is a Winter night landscape. I really, really love the snow covered house and trees *-* I wish I could go retire to a place like that haha! I started by doing a blurple gradient which unfortunately isn't very noticeable, but discreet and I like it :) Pictured is Golden Rose WOW 81. Afterwards I stamped the snowy house and cute reindeer with Esmaltes da Kelly Dolly stamping polish.

A primeira manicure que fiz foi uma paisagem com neve. Gosto muito, muito do desenho de árvores e casa na neve *-* Aliás, quem me dera a mim passar um fim de semana numa cabana como esta :p. Comecei por criar uma gradiente roxo e azul como base... infelizmente não se nota bem as cores... mas até gostei! :) Um dos vernizes usados foi o Golden Rose WOW 81. Carimbei a casa, árvores, neve e rena com o verniz de carimbo Esmaltes da Kelly Dolly.

The next nail art is a take on fantasy nails... sort of :p There's only two brands with the reindeer and beaver fantasy designs and I own one! I couldn't help playing with them! :D So, I created stamping decals with them all in nude colors and placed them over Dance Legend by Anna Gorelova 15 Gamayun; I stamped the other details using the transparent stamper. This Dance Legend polish has an holographic sand texture that I covered with 4 coats of top coat to make it shiny... but you can still see some grains... well, it adds up to the fantasy factor haha.

A manicure que se segue é uma espécie de tentativa de manicure de fantasia. Só há duas marcas neste momento com este tipo de desenhos e como sou dona de uma delas, não podia deixar de brincar com os desenhos! :D Então, fiz adesivos de carimbos com o castor e rena em tons nude. Coloquei-os por cima do verniz Dance Legend Anna Gorelova 15 Gamayun e terminei carimbando os restante desenhos com o carimbo transparente. O verniz Anna Gorelova tem acabamento arenoso holográfico; tentei que ficasse suave e brilhante com quatro camadas de top coat, mas mesmo assim nota-se grãos... enfim, adiciona-se ao factor fantasia e pronto lool.

Mollon Pro Extrême 07 Soft Pink Review

Hello gorgeous! :)

Mollon Pro launched a collection of nail polishes meant to last up to 10 days with gel polish gloss effect and no need for UV/LED lamp. The collection/line is named Mollon Pro Extrême and so far, it contains 24 polishes. This is a three-step system; Each color needs to be complimented with the Mollon Pro Base Coat Extrême (step 1) and the Mollon Pro Top Coat Extrême (step 2) to achieve the gel polish finish and durability. Each 15ml color is easy to apply and removable just like regular polish. What I immediately noticed is that the pigmentation of this line is incredible! *-* They're highly pigmented (and able to stamp!) due to the gel polish finish.

A Mollon Pro lançou uma colecção/linha com vernizes que têm acabamento de verniz gel sem necessidade de usar lâmpada LED/UV e que duram até 10 dias. A colecção chama-se Mollon Pro Extrême de até ao momento já dispõe de 24 cores com 15ml cada. Trata-se de um sistema com três passos; cada verniz tem de ser complementado quer pela base Mollon Pro Base Coat Extrême (passo 1), quer pelo top coat Mollon Pro Top Coat Extrême (passo 3) para então se obter a durabilidade e o efeito gel. O passo 2 é o próprio verniz cor. A colecção caracteriza-se também por ser fácil de aplicar e remover como verniz regular, A primeira característica que reparei foi na pigmentação, que é espectacular! *-* Foi-me comunicado pela marca que esta deve-se ao facto de ter o acabamento gel (e carimbam também!).

Mollon Pro Extrême 07 Soft Pink is a lovely pink color, opaque in a generous coat (see, they're great!). The gloss is so strong and... yummy! haha I found it difficult do paint the cuticle line due to the high pigmentation and brush, but clean up was a piece of cake ;) The formula is on the thick side, but still "runny" enough to be easy to apply. I also noticed that you must let the polish dry for a couple minutes before applying Mollon Pro Extrême Top Coat or its brush with drag the base color.

O verniz Mollon Pro Extrême 07 Soft Pink tem um tom rosa claro fofo e cobre as unhas com uma camada (não é maravilhoso??). O brilho é espectacular e simplesmente apetecível! Tive alguma dificuldade em delinear a cutícula devido ao pincel e alta pigmentação do verniz; esta última não é tão espessa que impeça uma fácil aplicação do verniz, mas é preciso algum cuidado na aplicação. A limpeza essa é super fácil! Apercebi-me também que é necessário deixar o verniz secar por cerca de dois minutos caso contrário o pincel do top coat Mollon Pro Extrême arrasta a cor base.

It's impossible to not compliment this lovely pink color with a nail art :) So, I picked a zig zag pattern from Fab Ur Nails FUN 16 plate and stamped it in white using Mundo de Uñas White to create a base. Then I selected the roses from Curali 008 plate and did stamping decals using pink, peach and green polishes (I no longer remember the colors, sorry). Ohh I loved this!! <3

Era-me impossível não complementar este rosa fofinho com uma nail art :p. Comecei por criar uma base geométrica com o padrão em zig zag da placa Fab Ur Nails FUN 16, carimbado com o verniz de carimbo MdU White. Depois fiz adesivos de carimbos com a rosa da placa Curali 008 e vernizes rosa, pêssego e verde (já não me lembro dos nomes... sorry). Gostei taaanto! <3

Color Club Poptastic Pastel Neon Remix Collection Review - Feel The Funk, On The Flip Side & Get Down Tonight

Hello ladies & gents! :)

I've been lazy this week, but today I have some nice swatches to show you :) Color Club released a little while ago a collection of glow in the dark glitter named Poptastic Pastel Neon Remix. I have three of them to review today and they were given to me by GL Nails, a portuguese gel polish brand and store.

Tenho andado bastante preguiçosa esta semana... mas aqui estou com muitas fotos para vos mostrar :) A marca Americana Color Club lançou há alguns meses atrás a colecção Poptastic Pastel Neon Remix composta por sete vernizes neon com glitter que brilham no escuro. Perfeito para o Verão! :D Em Portugal, a marca Color Club está disponível pela loja (e marca) GL Nails, sendo que consegui os meus três por intermédio destes :)

There's a couple things that are similar across the collection. They all have lots of iridescent glitter in a jelly base; some more pigmented than others. Another amazing feature is of course that not only they are neon, but also glow in the dark - you will not go unnoticed in any time of the day xD Now the sad part is that i was not able to capture the glow in the dark with my camera. I tried my best, but failed miserably. Hence, I have glow in the dark pictures taken by fellow blogger colleagues and made sure to link each photo to their blog and properly give them due credits.

Há algumas características transversais nesta colecção. Uma delas é o facto de todos os vernizes conterem bastante glitter iridiscente numa base jelly colorida; essa base pode ser mais ou menos pigmentada dependendo do verniz em questão. Adicionalmente e além de serem cores neon que chamam logo a atenção, também brilham no escuro *-* Ninguém passa despercebido com esta colecção xD Tentei de tudo, mas infelizmente não consegui de maneira alguma captar os vernizes a brilharem no escuro :( É por isso que coloquei fotos de bloggers amigas com o respectivo link e devido crédito :)

Let us start with Color Club Feel the Funk. It took me four coats to reach a medium pigmented finish, although the with nail line is still noticeable. I liked the combination of pastel purple with the iridescent glitters. After applying top coat to smooth the glitter finish, I stamped the design from BP L-007 stamping plate with Mash Deep in Merlot. Love this color combo!

Vamos começar com o Color Club Feel the Funk. Apliquei quatro camadas para alcançar uma pigmentação razoável, mas ainda se nota a extremidade branca da unha. Apliquei também top coat para suavizar o acabamento do glitter e carimbei a imagem da placa BP L-007 com o verniz de carimbo Mash Deep in Merlot. Gostei desta combinação de cores *-*

Next we have Color Club On the Flip Side which has a bright green jelly base. This one takes three coats to achieve nail coverage. I'm not very fond of these greens, but I can admire a nice color. Istamped some leafs from UB 2-02 plate with a Mash Brunswick Green dark green stanmping polish. Now this is more my style and i liked it very much! ;)

De seguida temos o Color Club on The Flip Side, que é um verde claro vibrante que cobre as unhas com três camadas. Não sou muito fã destes tons de verde, mas a situação muda se colocar outro verde do meu agrado ;) Carimbei então as folhas da placa UB 2-02 com o verniz de carimbo verde escuro Mash Brunswick Green. Me gusta! :D

Last, but certainly not least, we have Color Club Get Down Tonight which is my favorite. Why? Because it's blue! haha :p It also took three coats to achieve nail coverage. The combination of the jelly blue base with the iridescent glitter reminds too much of the Ocean and that was where my nail art idea borned. So, I first stamped the water bubbles from DRK Mystic Ocean stamping plate both in Mundo de Uñas 42 Holland blue and Mundo de Uñas 1 White; then I also made e stamping decal with the mermaid from Curalis 008 stamping plate. Ooohhh I LOVE this!! *-*

Por fim, mas não menos importante, temos o Color Club Get Down Tonigh. Este é o meu favorito. Porquê? Porque é azul haha :p Também precisou de três camadas para cobrir as unhas. Esta combinação de azul com o glitter iridiscente é simplesmente linda e lembra-me o mar *-* Não havia como fugir a uma nail art com o tema. Carimbei as bolhas de águas da placa de carimbo DRK Mystic Ocean primeiro com o verniz azul Mundo de Uñas 42 Holland Blue e depois com o MdU 1 White. Por fim fiz um adesivo de carimbo com a sereia da placa Curalis 008.
