Kinetics Nordic Blue Collection Review & Nail Art

How are you? I hope that you're doing very well :) Today I bring you a huge post with my review of Kinetics newest Fall 2016 release - the Nordic Blue collection. Not only do I have swatches of the individual 8 colors, but also nail arts (of course haha). This collection was inpired by the Nordic Scandinavian beauty and wild Nature as well as their noble and proud People. It also has a strong earth influence as seen in several worldwide fashion shows.

Como estão? Espero que bem! :) Hoje trago-vos um longo post com a minha review e opinião do lançamento mais recente da marca Kinetics para o Outono 2016 - a colecção Nordic Blue. Esta colecção foi inspirada na beleza, natureza selvagem da Escandinávia e também no seu Orgulhoso e Nobre Povo. A colecção também tem influência de tons terra como visto em vários desfiles de designers a nível intencional.

Lets start with Kinetics Nordic Blue which gives the name to the collection. What a beautifull blue!! I think it really represents the Scandinavian sky and sea colors *.* I applied three coats because Nordic Blue leads on the jelly side with no top coat so you get to see the incredible Kinetics Solar Gel shine <3

Vamos começar pelo verniz Nordic Blue que dá nome à colecção. Que azul lindo!! É um tom espectacular que lembra-me o mar e céu da Escandinávia, muito bem conseguido na minha opinião *-* Como a formula é ligeiramente jelly, apliquei três camadas. Não finalizei com top coat para que possam ver o brilho incrível desta linha Solar Gel da Kinetics ;)

Next we have Kinetics Iceland Grey, the perfect pair for Nordic Blue in my opinion <3 Two coats with a very creamy formula finished with Kinetics Solar Gel Top Coat.

Temos agora o verniz Kinetics Iceland Grey que é o par perfeito para o Nordic Blue na minha opinião <3 Apliquei duas camadas bem cremosas e finalizei com o top coat Kinetics Solar Gel.

Because the above two colors match so well and since we're speaking about a very cold place, how about a sweater nail art?? Let's go for it haha! I did a gradient ft. Kinetics Nordic Blue and Iceland Grey and stamped it with MoYou London Fashionista 14 stamping plate with Messy Mansion Chalk stamping polish.

Ambas as cores acima combinam tão bem e lembram um lugar tão frio que claramente optei por fazer uma nail art inspirada numa camisola de malha hehe :) Fiz um gradiente com as cores Nordic Blue e Iceland Grey e carimbei o desenho da placa MoYou London Fashionista 14 com o verniz de carimbo branco Messy Mansion Chalk.

Speaking of blue, the other teal blue polish in the collection is Kinetics Kingdom of Ice. It is for sure one of my favorite polishes of the collection. Kingdom of Ice also has teal jelly finish but rest assure it doesn't stain our nails. Gorgeous and deep color! I applied three coats and no top coat - just look at that shine and fast drying time! 

Por falar em azul, o outro verniz azul da colecção é o Kinetics Kingdom of Ice. Mas este tem um tom teal harmonioso, super adequado ao Outono/Inverno. Estava receosa, mas posso já dizer que este tom não mancha as unhas :) Apliquei três camadas sem top coat - que brilho e velocidade de secagem!

There's no denying that Kinetics Kingdom of Ice goes very well with a soft pink, particularly Kinetics Pearl Hunter. I combined both in a mix n' match nail art. In the ring finger I placed a stamping decal made with MoYou London Flower Power 14 stamping plate and DRK Nails Metallic brown stamping polish. In the other nails I placed bronze rhinestones from Urban Design Care.

Não há como negar que o tom teal escuro combina muito bem com rosa claro, de modo que combinei os verniz Kinetics Kingdom of Ice e Pearl Hunter numa nail art mix n' match. No anelar coloquei um adesivo de carimbo que fiz com a placa MoYou London Flower Power 14 e nas restantes unhas, adicionei rhinestones bronze que comprei na loja Urban Design Care.

Time to introduce you properly to Kinetics Pearl Hunter, which is the milky soft & sweet shade of pink of this collection. Such a sweet color which goes so well with the each and every polish of the Nordic Blue collection . way to go Kinetics! This is three coats plus top coat.

Está na altura de vos apresentar devidamente o verniz Kinetics Pear Hunter; é o tom rosa leitoso fofíssimo da colecção que combina super bem com todas as cores da colecção <3. Nas fotos temos três camadas do verniz com top coat Solar Gel.

One of the hugest trends this year is marble nails. Lucky for me, Iceland Grey and Pearl Hunter look sooo good together and make the classiest marble nails ever! I used the stamper technique for these marble nails. Also, for the classy & elegant look, I opted for a touch of gold and negative space nail art with the help of RockNailStar techno nail vinyls <3

Uma das tendências mais in de 2016 é a manicure inspirada em mármore. Já vi imensas combinações e ideias maravilhosas, e eis que me deparo com dois tons nesta colecções perfeitos para tal. Fiz o efeito mármore com a técnica do carimbo com os vernizes Pearl Hunter e Iceland Grey. Adicionei também um toque de dourado e negative space com ajuda de RockNailStar Techno nail vinyls para ter um look o mais clássico e elegante possível <3

I believe a Fall collection can never miss a red in their mists. Kinetics introduce us to a burgundy color this year, such a deep red that you can often confuse it with black. It's gorgeous! Two coats of Kinetics Goddess plus top coat.

Acredito que não há forma de lançar uma coleção de Outono sem pelo menos um vermelho. A Kinetics apresenta-nos a sua versão num tom borgonha, tão profundo que até é confundido com preto sob diversas muitas luzes. É lindo! Apliquei duas camadas do verniz Kinetics Goddess e finalizei com top coat.

My opinion is that is best to let Goddess shine through any nail art. I simply used RockNailStar techno nail vinyls to help me create V-gaps with ILNP Clockwork and stamped with Uber Chic UC 7-03 stamping plate.

O verniz Kinetics Goddess é tão poderoso que achei por bem deixá-lo brilhar na nail art. Fiz a manicure com o verniz ILNP Clockwork carimbado com a placa UC 7-03 com ajuda de RockNailStar techno nail vinyls em forma de V :)

Next we have a fiery pink which is Kinetics Power of Fire polish (such a suittable name haha). It's such a powerfull colors! Pink yes, but with a very strong red undernote and magnificent shine! This is two coats without top coat.

De seguida temos o rosa ardente Kinetics Power of Fire (que nome!). É um tom bastante poderoso para o Outono; não só é rosa, como tem um forte subtom vermelho e brilho espectacular! Apliquei duas camadas sem top coat. 

I can't help but want to play with flowers and Kinetics Power of Fire polish. That being said, for my nail art, I painted my middle nails with Kinetics Pearl Hunter and stamped it with Curali 017 plate and Kinetics Under a Spell. I finished by placing flower stamping decals from BPL-024 stamping plate.

Foi impossível não brincar com flores e este tom rosa ardente :p Comecei por pintar as unhas do meio com o verniz Kinetics Pearl Hunter e carimbei com a placa Curali 017 e verniz Kinetics Under a Spell. Terminei com adesivos de carimbo com as flores da placa BPL-024. 

Let's get to the more earthy shades of the Nordic Blue collection, starting with Kinetics Under a Spell. It's a hard to describe color... muted brown I believe. Two coats plus Solar Gel top coat.

Vamos passar para os tons mais terrosos da colecção, começando pelo verniz Kinetics Under a Spell. É uma cor difícil de descrever, um castanho "apagado". Apliquei duas camadas e finalizei com top coat Solar Gel.

Last, but not least, I introduce you to Kinetics Satin Cold. A surprising color in the way you I unexpectedly fell in love with it! Also, it's the only color that has a very smooth silver shimmer to it. Two lovely coats;

Por fim, temos o verniz Kinetics Satin Cold. É uma cor surpreendente na forma em como me apaixonei inesperadamente por ela. É também o único verniz da colecção com shimmer discreto prata na sua composição. Duas camadas com top coat:

These earthy colors kind of scream of Fall, hence I couldn't resist and gave wings to my imagination :p I used the smoosh stamping technique to create the base with three polishes: Kinetics Power of Fire, Satin Cold and Under a Spell. Then I stamped the base with the leafs from BPL-024 plate and MdU Brown. I finished with Kinetics Kwik Kote top coat.

Estes últimos tons terrosos lembram-me imenso o Outono, a modos que fiz uma manicure com essa inspiração :p. Criei a base com a técnica Smoosh stamping com os vernizes Kinetics Power of Fire, Satin Cold e Under a Spell. Depois carimbei as folhas da placa BPL-024 com o verniz MdU Brown e terminei com o top coat kinetics Kwik Kote.

Summer Mermaid Nails

Hello everyone! :)

This Summer I did two mermaid nails manicures and I wanted to show them in a single post.

First we have my vacations nails from August ;) You see ILNP Interstellar, such a gorgeous duochrome blue with holographic glitter <3 In the finger I stamped the mermaid pattern with Bundle Moster BM XL209 plate.

The following mermaid nails have a gradient underneath made with FUN Lacquer Midnight Nocturne and Glitter Gal Lizard Belly. On top I stamped with DRK Magic Garden stamping plate in gold.

My Birthday Nails :)

Hello gorgeous! :)

Last week was my birthday. I'm now 27 years old... still a young lady ;) This year I matched my nails with my birthday cake and I have pictures of both :p. 

O meu aniversário foi na semana passada. Consta que tenho agora 27 anos... ainda sou uma jovem! haha ;) Desta vez combinei a minha manicure com o bolo de anos e tenho foto de ambos :p

The lovely cake was made by my friend Sérgio Oliveira (Doce Paixão). It was so, so pretty and super elegant just like I asked for <3 The inside was a lime and pistachio cake with vanilla filling. 

O bolo foi feito pelo meu amigo Sérgio Oliveira (Doce Paixão). Estava tão bonito! <3 Adorei! Amei a suavidade e elegância da decoração, mesmo como lhe pedi. O interior é um bolo de pistache e lima com recheio de baunilha.

As for the manicure, I tried to create the cheterfield pattern with nail tape and two different shades of pink (I think there's another name for this patter, but I can't remember now). I chose the light pink Mollon Pro 180 Amor and the darker China Glaze Spring in My Step. In the pinky finger I used OPI Love Angel Music Baby and also placed a flower stamping decal in the ring finger; those flowers belong to DRK Nails Magic Garden stamping plate. Quanto à manicure, tentei criar o padrão chesterfield com fitas e dois tons diferentes de rosa. Ficou bastante discreto na realidade. Escolhi o rosa claro Mollon Pro 180 Amor e o mais escuro China Glaze Spring in My Step. No dedo mindinho apliquei o verniz OPI Love Angel Music Baby e no anelar fiz um adesivo de carimbo com as flores da placa de carimbo DRK Nails Magic Garden. Espero que gostem tanto quanto eu! :)

DRK Nails Magic Garden Stamping Plate Review

Hello everyone! :)

Have you caught many pokemon lately? Haha that game is such a fever! It made us go walk for 6km just to find pokemons hahaha! And, of course one's nails must look goreous even for such a menial task ;) 

Já apanharam muitos pokémons?? haha O jogo ficou disponível para a Europa no fim desta semana e... tem sido a loucura! A quantidade de pessoas que vejo na rua subiu bastante a até nós já fizemos hoje 6Km para apanhar a bicharada lol. Mas não é motivo para descurar a manicure, certo?? Ah pois!

A good way to embelish your nails is to try out the new DRK Magic Garden stamping plate! Don't believe me? Then, check out the amazing and plenty designs available in it! The only thing I have to say about the quality is: amazing! Very good quality in every plate since day 1 of DRK nails!

E uma forma de ter as unhas bonitas é com a placa de carimbo DRK Nails Magic Garden. A quantidade de desenhos alegres e Primaveris desta placa é espectacular! Quanto à qualidade, só há uma palavra para descrever: perfeita! A qualidade é perfeita em todos os sentidos e em todas as placas DRK Nails desde o dia em que a marca entrou no mercado.

Since Magic Garden has a lot of flower designs and of course I started with them :p This is one the simplest manicures ever with a super cool result :) I chose a sand texture base (I went for Cliché Espelho Mágico) and double stamped with pink and white. Ta-da! ;)

Com uma placa dedicada ao jardim mágico, não há por onde não começar este post com uma nail art floral :p A manicure seguinte é relativamente simples, mas com um resultado muito engraçado. Apliquei o verniz arenoso bem Português Cliché Espelho Mágico e carimbei duplamente as flores em branco e rosa. Ta-da! ;)

Now we have one of my favorite designs from DRK Magic Garden plate: the super adorable birds! They'so so cute  For the base I picked Barry M Coconut, layered a coat of Kiko 230 and then stamped with MdU Black stamping polish. I filled in the designs with the leadlight stamping technique using several El Corazón Aquarelle polishes :)

Temos agora um dos meus desenhos preferidos da placa Magic Garden: os pássaros! São tão adoráveis *-* Escolhi para a base o verniz Barry M Coconut, depois apliquei uma camada do verniz Kiko 230 e carimbei os pássaros a preto. Usei a técnica leadlight stamping e vernizes El Corazón Aquarelle Tints para pintar o desenho.

For the next manicure, I went for something different: a green, pink and purple base done with the saran wrap technique and black stamping as well a couple black studs. The mint green polish is Mollon Pro Extrême 12 Mint Cocktail.

Na manicure que se segue, optei por criar uma base com a técnica saran wrap em tons menta, rosa e roxo. Carimbei flores pretas e adicionei studs pretos. O verniz menta usado foi o Mollon Pro Extrême 12 Mint Cocktail.

This stamping plate also contains full coverage designs such as the following one. I picked a dark blue base and layered Mollon Pro 205 Pastel Dots on top. Very colorfull... Untill I stamped with MdU 42 Hollan Blue and mattified everything. Now here's a blue in your face manicure :p

Como devem ter reparado, há também bastantes desenhos de unha inteira com maior área de cobertura. Usei um dos meus preferidos numa manicure azul. Até recebi comentários de quão azul era hehehe! Comecei por aplicar o verniz Mollon Pro 205 Pastel Dots sobre azul escuro. Depois carimbei o padrão como verniz MdU 42 Holland Blue e matifiquei para não ficar tão brilhante :p

I loved the sand texture finish plus double stamping so much that I did it again haha  For the base I chose Yves Rocher Champgne Rosé Givré and first stamped the full nails roses from DRK XL Designer 1 plate and afterwards the roses from Magic Garden plate.

Gostei tanto da ideia de usar verniz arenoso e carimbar duas vezes que voltei a fazer o mesmo :p Desta vez usei como base o verniz Yves Rocher Champagne Rosé Givré (prenda da minha mãe <3) e carimbei primeiro as rosas da placa DRK XL Designer 1 depois rodas da placa Magic Garden. 

Speaking of flowers, here's one more nail art :p I decided to do a nude to peach gradient with piCture pOlish Nougat and Blush, respectively. On top I placed flower stamping decals for a happy manicure :)

Por falar em flores, eis mais uma nail art com o tema hehe. Fiz um gradiente de tom nude paa pêssego com os vernizes piCture pOlish Nougat e Blush, respectivamente. Por fim coloquei adesivos de carimbo em branco e rosa para uma nail art alegre :)

Next we have a simple holographic nail art! I painted two coats of Penélope Luz Hortense, a beautifull periwinkle blue with discreet holographic finish. I stamped with MdU Black. Pardon me for the quality of the pictures because I took them after using this maicure for 4 days...

De seguida temos uma manicure básica holográfica. Apliquei duas camadas do verniz Penélope Luz Hortense que tem um tom azul super fofinho e holografia discreta. Peço desculpa pela qualidade das fotos, isto porque tirei-as quando a manicure já estava com 4 dias de uso...

Last, but not least, I have to show you what was actually the first manicure I did with Magic Garden plate :p I layered by Dany Vianna Cold December Night polish over OPI Road House Blues. Cold December Niht is a stunning indie polish with blue flakes and silver microglitter in a blue jelly base. I stamped the flowers with DRK Nude Metálico stamping polish and finished with gold studs ant matte top coat.

E por fim, mas não menos importante, tenho o prazer de vos mostrar aquela que foi a primeira manicure que fiz im a placa Magic Garden :p Combinei o verniz artesanal by Danny Vianna Cold December Night sobre o OPI Road House Blues. Este Cold December Night tem algo de mágico nele *-* É composto por base jelly azul e nela encontramos flocos azuis e microglitter prata. Adoro! Carimbei o desenho floral com o verniz de carimbo DRK Nude Metálico e terminei com studs dourados e top coat matte.
