Roses... oh, roses!

Hey guys! :)

How are you? hope you're enjoying a confortable and cosy moment this weekend :) Before I start with Christmas manicures around here (I'm feeling way more inspired this year than last year haha), I wanted to share with you a couple manicures with roses that I've done in the last months. Roses? Yes, you know I love them! *-* I can't help myself haha! I have been sharing a lot of my mancurs mainly through Instagram, so make sure you're following me there (@clockwisepolish).

Como estão? Espero que bem quentinhas e confortáveis neste fim de semana frio :) Antes de começar a publicar manicures de Natal aqui no blog, queria mesmo partilhar convosco algumas que tenho feito nos últimos meses com rosas. Rosas? Sim, porque não? Eu adoro! Qualquer altura do ano é perfeita :p. Tenho publicado a maioria das minhas manicures no Instagram, pelo que certifiquem-se que me seguem lá para estarem a par de tudo! (@clockwisepolish).

Lets start with the vibrant, Summer roses :)

Mollon Pro 218 Classic Jeans Review

Hola guapas! :)

Fall is here... well, at least was supposed to be in Lisbon haha. That being said, I have 12 colors from the new Fall Trends collection by Mollon Pro to show you guys! This collection has it all! From bright to dark colors, as well as matte and glitters *-* But, lets start with my favorite color (one of them that is) that is the blue Mollon Pro 218 Classic Jeans.

E o Outono chegou... ou pelo menos devia ter chegado, mas dado este calor... enfim. A Mollon Pro lançou a sua colecção de Outono chamada Fall Trends composta por 12 vernizes; tem acabamentos e cores para todos os gostos, desde matte a glitter, como cores claras e escuras. Hoje trago-vos o meu favorito que é o azul Mollon Pro 218 Classic Jeans.

This review started amazingly well I must say! Mollon Pro 218 Classic Jeans is so pigmented that I achieved full nail coverage in a single coat. This is a teal blue with a dusty feeling to it; it does remind me of dark jeans hehe. The formula is very smooth and applies like warm butter... the shine is also quite glossy... I'm in love!!

Podemos dizer que comecei bem com esta colecção em termos de qualidade! Este azul Mollon Pro 218 Classic Jeans é tão pigmentado que uma camada é suficiente para cobrir as unhas. A cor é um azul petróleo com subtons cinza... sim, lembra jeans escuros. O brilho é glossy e lindo; a formula também excelente, cremosa e fácil de aplicar... é só coisas boas!

About the nail art, I went with some flowers of course :p I stamped them from Fab Ur Nails FUN 16 stamping plate using Mundo de Uñas 42 Holland Blue stamping polish. I also placed some glitter dots with Fun Lacquer 24 Karat Diamond (H) *-*

Quanto à nail art que fiz, carimbei flores... que surpresa! :p Estas flores são da placa Fab Ur Nails FUN 16 e foram carimbadas com o verniz Mundo de Uñas 42 Holland Blue. Coloquei também bolinhas aqui e ali com o glitter Fun Lacquer 24 Karat Diamond (H) *-*

Fab Ur Nails FUN 20 Stamping Plate Review

Today I bring you my review of Fab Ur Nails FUN 20 stamping plate. I believe you are now introduced to the FUN plates given not only their quality, but also gorgeous designs and creativity of it's owner Johanne. I have previously reviewed FUN 13 and FUN 17, make sure you check them because they're awesome!

Trago-vos hoje a minha review da placa de carimbo Fab Ur Nails FUN 20 e exemplos de manicures com os seus desenhos. Certamente que já conhecem as placas FUN não só devido à sua qualidade, como também desenhos e criatividade da Johanne, dona da marca. Revi anteriormente as placas FUN 13 e FUN 17, por isso não deixem de ver cada uma porque são lindas!

FUN 20 has lots of designs, around 39 to be more exact. Unlike the previous plates, the main theme of this plate is not flowers but more geometrica patterns. There are however designs for everyone out there :) Each design transfers perfectly to the nails and is well etched and not shallow at all (hence you can pretty much stamp with any type of stamper). I honestly only have good things to say about it because the stamping quality is just perfect! <3

A placa de carimbo FUN 20 tem vários desenhos, 39 para ser mais precisa. O tema principal desta placa são padrões geométricos, ao contrário das que revi anteriormente que têm temas mais florais. Os desenhos estão gravados de forma a permitir algum tempo para carimbar (em vez de ser nas pressas) e qualquer carimbo pode ser usado para o efeito. Só tenho coisas boas a dizer sobre a placa porque a sua qualidade é excelente! <3

In the following manicure, I wanted to sort of create the glamour of a dancing ball from the 20s. The dancing pairs are my favorite designs of the plate <3 I started by painting three coats of Cliché Sushi and then dabbed the glitter near the cuticles; glitter is FUN Lacquer Queen - stunning! *-* Then I stamped the couples with Mundo de Uñas Black and freehanded the soil in black.

Quis criar uma manicure que lembrasse o glamour de um baile dos anos 20, até porque os desenhos dos casais a dançar são os meus preferidos desta placa <3 Comecei por aplicar três camadas do verniz Cliché Sushi e depois o glitter FUN Lacquer Queen junto às cutículas - que lindo!! *-* Carimbei depois os casais com o verniz Mundo de Uñas Black e desenhei o solo a preto.

For the following nail art, I wanted something romantic as well (I blame the designs haha!). So, I painted two coats of Mavala Touch of Provence, a dusty lilac with a hint of silver shimmer perfect for Fall. Then, I stamped the flower pattern using three colors: Mundo de Uñas Mexican Pink, Pink (?) and White... although the transition from light pink to white is noticeable. Afterwards, I stamped the cute children couple and the words with MdU Black. I call this manicure "first love" *-* (do you remember that time when you only touched hands and were too scared of kisses?)

Também quis fazer algo romântico na manicure que segue (culpo os desenhos da placa! :p). Comecei com duas camadas do verniz Mavala Touch of Provence que é um lilás acinzentado com um leve shimmer prata perfeito para o Outono. Carimbei de seguida as flores numa espécie de gradiente, sendo que usei os vernizes Mundo de Uñas Mexican Pink, Pink e White (apesar de não se notar bem a transição de rosa claro para branco). Por fim, carimbei a preto o casal de crianças apaixonadas e as frases *-*. Chamo esta manicure de "O primeiro Amor" porque lembra-me aquela altura em que as crianças dão as mãos mas ainda estão receosas do primeiro beijo (vá, eu sei que nem sempre é assim, mas pronto).

Last but not least, we have a red floral manicure :) I complimented the flower pattern with by Danny Vianna Bravery, which is a stunning red jelly filled with golden shimmer. These are the colors of Gryffindor house (which I have a soft spot for) of Harry Potter and this polish belongs to HP collection *-*

Por fim, mas não menos importante, temos umas flores que complementei com o verniz artesanal by Dany Vianna Bravery. Trata-se de um vermelho jelly cheio de glitter dourado *-* Aliás, o mesmo pertence à colecçao Harry Potter da Dany e representa a casa Gryffindor (pela qual sempre tive um fraquinho).

Fab Ur Nails FUN 17 Stamping Plate Review

Hola guapas! :) 

Today I bring you my review of Fab Ur Nails FUN 17 stamping plate. This is an indie stamping brand from the Philippines owned by Johanne. Johanne is an amazing nail artist and I bet there is no one in the stamping world who doesn't know her and her awesome manicures <3 She does creations with both her other stamping brands and I love that about her, that she is confident in her product and loves stamping as much as we :)

Trago-vos hoje a minha review da placa de carimbo Fab Ur Nails FUN 17. Trata-se de uma marca de carimbos artesanal das Filipinas e a sua dona é a Johanne. Aposto que não há ninguém no Mundo dos carimbos que não a conheça! A Johanne é uma artista e cria nail arts e coisas maravilhosas com carimbos <3 Ela sabe exactamente o que procuramos e inova nesse sentido. Ela também utiliza outras marcas de carimbo além da sua porque adora carimbar tanto quanto nós; este é sem dúvida um dos motivos pelo qual também a admiro.

Fab Ur Nails FUN 17 stamping plate has such amazing designs! My favorite are for sure the landscapes in the bottom of the plate - OMG *-* But there's also some awesome geometric patterns too :) Each design is large and fits large nails. Since they're quite intricate, I don't feel the need to shrink them to my nail size. As for stamping quality, they're perfect! Each designs is etched very well and I found no issue while transferring them. The back of the plate has a black card with Fab Ur Nails logo instead of the metallic backing.      

Esta placa de carimbos Fab Ur Nails FUN 17 tem desenhos tão espectaculares! *-* Os meus favoritos são sem dúvida as paisagens no fim da placa, mas há outros que também me apaixonaram :) Cada desenho é razoavelmente grande e cabe em unhas grandes. Visto que os desenhos são detalhados, não considero que seja necessário usar a técnica para reduzir a proporção dos mesmos. Verifiquei também que a placa está bem gravada e não encontrei nenhuma falha na transferência dos desenhos - perfeição!                                

I am in love with the tile/geometric pattern right on the center of the plate. I just find it gorgeous!  I had to use it and did stamping decals using several polishes (which I no longer remember... sorry) and Mundo de Uñas White stamping polish. The lovely holographic blue glitter is Dance Legend Wow Prism Night Ranger <3 I got a lot of compliments on this manicure at work ^^

Estou apaixonada pelo padrão de azulejo que está no cento da placa, é tão lindo! <3 Fiz questão de o usar e fiz vários adesivos de carimbos com diferentes vernizes azuis (já não me lembro de quais... sorry); o verniz branco de carimbo usado foi o Mundo de Uñas White. Já o glitter holográfico azul lindo da vida que usei como base foi o dance Legend Wow Prism Night Ranger; já o tinha usado antes mas nunca fotografei... que lindo!! Recebi bastantes elogios no trabalho desta manicure ^^

Could you go by without using the bottom under the Ocean design?? Of course not, you don't fool me! :p Me neither :D The following nail art started with a gradient ft Jade Alga Marinha (teal), Mollon Pro 218 Classic Jeans (dark blue) and Cliché Gótico (black). Then I stamped random part of the designs using several different Mundo de Uñas polishes: Aqua (seafoam green), Tutti (purple), Nabu (pink) and Sunflower (orange). This is another manicure that I got a lot of compliments and I felt so proud because I loved it! love the contrast between bright and dark colors <3

Contem-me... conseguiam não usar o desenho do fundo do mar desta placa? Não me enganem que eu sei!! ;) A nail art que se segue começou com um gradiente usando os vernizes Jade Alga Marinha (teal), Mollon Pro 218 Classic Jeans (azul escuro) e Cliché Gótico (preto). Usei depois várias cores de carimbo da Mundo de Uñas para carimbar; foram o Aqua (verde água), Tutti (roxo) e Nabu (rosa) e Sunflower (laranja). Adorooo o contraste entre cores vibrantes e escuras! Esta manicure também foi alvo de elogios, o que não me podia ter deixado ficar mais orgulhosa <3

Last but not least, lets go with a landscape! :) Hard to pick one for this review since I like them all -.-'. In the end, I went for the mountain & lake one. I tried doing stamping decals for the first time with my new Uber Mat and the design is in the oposite direction than the plate. Stamping polishes were Mundo de Uñas White, Black and Mash Brunswick Green. Base blue polish is Zoya Blu and for the decals I used Art Deco 834, Jade Falling Star, Avon Polished Plum and piCture pOlish Monroe <3 

Por fim, mas não menos importante, vamos a uma paisagem! :) Foi difcícil escolher... porque gosto de todas! -.-' Mas acabei então por seleccionar a do lago e montanhas. Experimentei pela primeira vez fazer adesivos de carimbo com o tapete Uber Mat e o desenho ficou inverso ao da placa. Para carimbar usei os vernizes Mash Brunswick Green (verde floresta), Mundo de Uñas Black (preto) e White (branco). O verniz base azul é o Zoya Blu e nos adesivos usei o Art Deco 834, Jade Falling Star, Avon Polished Plum e piCture pOlish Monroe <3.

Ruby Wing Shipwrecked, Behind the Bleachers & Pretty in Pink Color Changing Polishes Review

Today I bring you a review of three Ruby Wing solar color changing polishes. They belong to the Solor Active collection. I received these three polishes to give my opinion from GL Nails - a gel polish brand and Portuguese store :) I am mesmerized! Each one has a color indoors and in the shadow that changes when the sun hits. It's a pleasure to play and see the color change I must admit ^^.

Hoje trago-vos a minha review de três vernizes que mudam de cor com o sol da Ruby Wing que pertencem à colecção XX. Recebei os três vernizes da marca e loja portuguesa GL Nails :) Estou super encantada haha! É maravilhoso ver a transição de cor de cada verniz da sombra para o sol... chega ao ponto de ser até quase uma criancice a brincadeira, mas não há como resistir :p 

The first one I have to show is Ruby Wing Shipwrecked. It has a very nice pigmentation and covers nails in two coats. It has a caramel/brownish nude color in the shadow/indoors that turns darker in the sun. You can clearly set apart the two colors and the change occurs in less than 5 seconds - amazing and so amusing haha! :p I stamped a geometric flowery pattern from Fab Ur Nails FUN 13 plate with Mundo de Uñas 57 Taupe. I like how this can pass as a delicate nail art due to the nude stamping polish and goes well with both Ruby Wing Shipwrecked colors :)

O primeiro verniz que tenho para vos mostrar é o Ruby Wing Shipwrecked que tem uma boa pigmentação e cobre as unhas em duas camadas. Na sombra a cor que domina é um caramelo acastanhado; mas no sol a cor é um castanho mais escuro :p A transição de cor da sombra para o sol é rápida, menos de cinco segundos na verdade (não admira que não pare de brincar!). Quanto à nail art, seleccionei um padrão geométrico florido da placa de carimbo FUN 13 e carimbei com o verniz Mundo de Uñas 57 Taupe, cujo tom nude fica bem com ambos as cores do verniz Ruby Wing Shipwrecked. Adorei :)

Next we have Ruby Wing Behind The Bleachers which is the sort of a light green in the shadow and fuller & darker forest green in the sun. I liked both colors and i wasn't expecting that since I'm not that much of a green lover :p. In terms of pigmentation, it took me two coats to cover nails with a very decent shine. These polishes are really good! :) For the nail art, I stamped a swirl image from FUN 20 stamping plate with two green stamping polishes : MdU 39 Avocado and 56 Spring Green and also placed a golden stud. It's a simple nail art I know, but that is the beauty of stamping.

De seguida temos o verniz Ruby Wing Behind the Bleachers que tem um tom verde floresta claro à sombra e verde floresta mais escuro ao sol. Surpreendemente, gostei das duas cores :) Apliquei duas camadas para cobertura total da unhas e o brilho depois de seco é bastante bom; estes vernizes são óptimos! :) Quanto à nail art , carimbei um desenho da placa FUN 20 com dois vernizes de carimbo verdes: MdU 39 Avocado e Mdu 56 Spring Green; depois coloquei um stud dourado no centro de cada desenho, apliquei top coat et voilá!

Last, but not least, we have Ruby Wing Pretty in Pink. I'm sad I wasn't able to fully capture the pink color in the shadow... it's a bright yet robust pink color that goes reddish in the sun. There's also some neon undertones to both colors and that's the reason why my camera didn't cooperate. Ruby Wing xx also applies in two coats. I was inspired to do this cameo nail art from ladyandthe_stamp :) I stamped in black the damask pattern from FUN WON; then i did a stamping decal with the cameo girl image from MoYou Pro XL 07 plate and placed it in the ring finger and finished off by applying matte top coat in everything. Ooohh I liked this very much! :D

Por fim, mas não menos importante, temos o Ruby Wing Pretty in Pink que é um rosa vibrante e robusto à sombra e avermelhado ao sol; tem umas nuances neon  e é por isso que não conseguir captar bem a cor bah. Tal como os restantes irmãos em termos de pigmentação, apliquei duas camadas para obter cobertura total da unha. Quanto à nail art, fui inspirada por uma manicure que a ladyandthe_stamp fez recentemente :) Carimbei o padrão damasco da placa FUN WON com o verniz de carimbo MdU Black e fiz um adesivo de carimbo com o camafeu da placa MoYou Pro XL 07. Gostei muito! :)
