Today I'm very proud to introduce you to Penélope from Penélope Luz blog!!! :D I'm certain many of you know her for her gorgeous and always impeccable nails, but also because of her Brazillian indie nail polish line. Primeiro quero agradecer a Cris pelo convite, fiquei muito feliz, eu adoro o blog dessa minha amiga linda, e é uma alegria estar aqui na casa dela. :)

Fiquei um tempo para escolher qual mani faria, então decidi fazer uma mix'n match que virou uma febre que também me pegou! :D

Escolhi preto e pink que são duas cores que, para mim, ornam lindamente juntas!

Quando vou fazer uma mix nas unhas, a primeira coisa que faço é escolher o esmalte do dedo médio, porque ele está no ponto de equilíbrio da mão, e se os outros esmaltes escolhidos estiverem combinando com ele, provavelmente a mistura ficará harmônica. Escolhi então um liquid sand, no caso o Kiko 642, que tem um tom de pink neon lindíssimo, além de uns brilhinhos fofos que deixam esse esmalte realmente divino!

Depois fui procurando na minha coleção esmaltes que combinassem com ele e encontrei o Purple Panic da China Glaze e também o glitter Miss & Makeup da Sation. Com eles em mãos precisei apenas escolher os esmaltes pretos que fossem fazer bons pares com esses dois pinks. Como o Miss e Makeup tem glitters pretos, eu não poderia usar com ele um esmalte totalmente preto cremoso, então escolhi o Stone Cold da China Glaze, que é um chumbo bem escuro, praticamente preto e com efeito matte. Já o Purple Panic, como é bem pigmentado, optei por usá-lo como esmalte de carimbo, para não tirar do Kiko o "cargo" de protagonista e ponto de equilíbrio.

Com os esmaltes escolhidos, bastou apenas harmonizá-los nas unhas. Primeiro coloquei o Kiko no dedo médio, então no dedão, anelar e mindinho, eu coloquei o Stone Cold. No anelar coloquei o Miss & Makeup por cima. Depois foi a vez do indicador com o Preto da Ki-cor, e então carimbei-o com o Purple Panic e plaquinha da Moyou, a Suki Collection 02. Recomendo muito essas plaquinhas, são as melhores que já usei, é muito fácil carimbar com elas, o desenho fica muito bem feito!

Gostei demais essa mani, tenho adorado fazer mix'n match, além de divertido, usamos vários esmaltes ao mesmo tempo!

Quando uso mix nas unhas, procuro usar roupas sem muitos acessórios, justamente pra unha se destacar no visual. No dia que usei essa mix, eu coloquei um macacão preto (não sei se é esse o nome que se dá em Portugal, mas era um como esse aqui), brinco e batom rosa pink. O batom foi o Don't Blink Pink 966 da Wet n Wild, que tem exatamente o mesmo tom de pink dessa mani, ficou bem bonito! :)

Hi everyone!

My name is Simona and I am super happy to be featured on Cristina's blog (thanks honey!) because she's one of my favourite bloggers! Her manis are always so perfect. What I love most and I try to recreate myself each and every time are her gorgeous skittlettes. Isn't she the best matching different styles in a single mani?

Well today I wanted to show you something worth her blog, know what I mean? But I am not that creative or talented so be nice to me!

I started out with a coat of Royal Beauty Blu Lacca, which is a wonderful blurple by this small Italian brand. Then I added Kleancolor Holo Chrome on top of my central fingers and a small rhinestone at the bottom of the other nails. Too bad sun didn't want to shine and you can't really see the sparkle of the Kleancolor and how well it matches the blue!

My name is Irina, my blog is called zebra-nails. When I received e-mail from Cristina with invitation to be a guest blogger I couldn't believe my eyes :). Cristina's manicures are always perfect and it's an honor for me to show my manicure here!

For my first guest post ever (yes, I've never been a guest blogger before :) ) I decided to show you a lovely blue nail polish from Ukrainian brand Nogotok. This polish comes from their Neon collection and is "called" #06.

I didn't have problems with application and drying time. Here I used 2 coats, without top coat.

I'm always trying to show how nail polish looks both in the sunlight and in the shade, so here is the photo made in the shade.

My nail art skills needs improvement (honestly saying, a lot of improvement! :) ), but I didn't want to show a plain swatch so I upgraded my manicure with reverse glitter gradient. Glitter gradients are easy to make and they always look eye-catching.

The glitter nail polish that I used is Golden Rose Jolly Jewels #119. I hope you like my manicure :).

I found a few similar shades in my stash and in case you like this shade of blue and have access to Kiko or Poland brand Ados you can get Ados #549 or Kiko #336, or both of them :).

First of all, I’d like to thank Cristina for inviting me to do a guest post for her. To me it’s an honor to post here, on her blog, she’s very talented and I always love her nail art creations. Then, I’m going to apologize for the state of my skin…It has been really hot around here and I get dyshidrosis on my hands, when the weather is like this. It’s not so bad, but you’ll be able to notice some small blisters on some of the photos. I’m really sorry about that. :S 

Antes de mais, gostaria de agradecer à Cristina, pelo convite. Para mim, é uma honra poder potar aqui, no blog dela. Adoro as suas manicures e acho que ela tem muito talento. Depois, tenho de me desculpar pelo estado da minha pele…Tem estado muito calor por aqui, e quando o tempo está assim, eu fico com disidrose nas mãos. Não é muito grave de momento, mas são notórias algumas bolhinhas, nalgumas das fotos. As minhas desculpas por este facto. :S 

Now that we got that out of the way, let’s move onto the nails! I’ve been lacking inspiration lately, so I did something really simple, but I ended up loving this look, and it has been on my nails for 4 days, so far, and it is still looking perfect! The base colour is Innisfree #65, I used Peripera P027 to stamp, and the plate is the BM-210.

Agora passemos ao importante, as unhas! Ultimamente, tenho andado com falta de inspiração, razão pela qual vos apresento algo muito simples, mas devo admitir que me apaixonei por este look, tal que já ando c ele nas unhas há 4 dias! E continua perfeitinho!  A cor de base é o Innisfree nº65, a de carimbo é o Peripera P027 e a plaquinha usada é uma BM-210. 

Innisfree #65 is light pink on the bottle, leaning a bit on the peach side (at least to my eye), but once I put it on my nails, all I see is nude! The formula is really nice to work with, it was perfect with 2 coats, and that combined with a big, flat brush, resulted in almost no clean up, at all.

O Innisfree nº65 é um rosinha claro, a puxar um bocadinho ao pêssego (pelo menos nos meus olhos), mas assim que o pus nas minhas unhas, a única coisa que eu vejo é nude! A fórmula é muito fácil de aplicar, ficou perfeitinho com 2 camadas, e isto combinado com um pincel grande e achatado, resultou numa manicure perfeitinha, quase sem precisar de alguma limpeza.

Peripera P027 is a metallic green, with slight blue duochrome effect, even though I think I failed to capture that on my photos… Anyway, it is perfect for stamping!O Peripera P027 é um verde metálico, com um ligeiro efeito duaochrome azul, apesar de eu ter falhado a captar isto nas minhas fotos…De qualquer maneira, ele é perfeito para carimbar!

I’m very pleased with the finished result, it looks quite simple and elegant, and not a look I usually go for. I hope you all like it as much as I did!

Hello everyone!

First of all, thank you so much Christina, I enjoy your blog so much and am very honored to do a guest post for you!!

I am Maria from Maria’s Nail Art and Polish Blog, and I live in Denmark. I have blogged for nearly 2 years. I paint a lot of freehand nail art, mostly flowers, and painting is to me each time like stepping into a new and beautiful world where nothing is decided in advance, it just happens.

I named this mani “Flowers for Freya’s cats”, because the base color is the gorgeous Picture Polish Freya’s Cats, and if you want, you can see my swatches HERE. I chose it because I know Christina likes blue, and I love this polish so much. I painted a few simple flowers with acrylic craft color trying not to over-power the polish, and top coated with Seche Vite.

Hello everyone!

Today I have the honour to do a guest post for Cristina, and I'm so excited because this is my first guest post ever! :) As I keep following The Clockwise Nail Polish since like... forever, it was a pleasant surprise for me - to be offered to show my nails here. And introducing myself: my name is Alina and I'm the author of Das Experiment nail blog.

While thinking about the concept of the guest post, I immediately decided about the brand I'm going to use - Andreia. I hope it's clear why: I just wanted to give credits to this nice polish from Cristina's country. So below are the swatches of Andreia #03: 

Andreia #03 is a pale mint green creme, quite whitened out but yet bright against the skin. A lovely pastel for spring and summer, goes well with tanned hands too. 

Application was surprisingly nice for such a shade: 2 easy coats and no bold spots, neither this annoying "step" next to the cuticle after the 2d coat. I didn't use any top coat: there was no need. Generally, I like Andreia polishes, a got a whole bunch of them via swaps and they keep surprising me with their nice quality. 

Just like Cristina, I'm quite fond of nail art, and especially stamping. So I decided to grab a BM-301 plate and stamp upon this pretty base colour! :) 

The polish I used for stamping was Stargazer Chrome #232 - a dupe of China Glaze Millennium. In the end the result looked similar to saran wrap technique, so I liked it! Maybe I should have stamped with gold instead, that could be pretty too...

Hello girls! :)

Today we travel to Brazil to meet Elaine from Unhas em Destaque blog! :) I met Elaine awhile back through Facebook and started following her more accurately since she started a blog :) I love her blog and creativity, but specially her cheer writing :) Lets see what Elaine prepared:

Hoje vamos dar um passei ao Brasil com a Elaine, do blog Unhas em Destaque! :) Conheci a Elaine pelo facebook há já algum tempo. Comecei a segui-la com mais detalhe e frequência quando ela criou o seu blog. Adoro a criatividade e o blog desta chica guapa, mas adoro especialmente a sua boa disposição! :) Vamos ver o que a Elaine preparou:

Olá meninas, tudo bem com vocês? Comigo tá tudo ótimo!!!

Em primeiro quero me apresentar... sou a Elaine Cristina, brasileira, viciada em esmaltes, nail art e tudo ligado ao mundo colorido das unhas... também tenho um blog o “Unhas em Destaque” e quero convidá-las a conhecê-lo!

Foi com uma alegria imensurável, que aceitei o convite da Cristina para fazer um post neste blog maravilhoso que acompanho há muito tempo e que tenho como inspiração! Então.. aqui estou eu, com a missão de mostrar a vocês uma das minhas manis... claro que esta foi feita especialmente para o hoje!

Eu como muitas meninas, simplesmente AMO esmaltes holográficos e estou usando o DS Classic, da OPI. Foram 03 mãos dele, super fácil de esmaltar e limpar.

Depois de ficar um dia assim, com este nude holográfico maravilhoso, pensei que poderia fazer uma art e assim dar up na minha mani, para isso e optei por carimbar usando a placa abaixo:

Peguei partes do desenho e fui carimbando aleatoriamente as unhas.... Usei o esmalte preto toxifree da LaFemme, vejam como ficou!

Para finalizar, proteger e dar um toque final, usei o topcoat Poshé.

Aqui juntinho todos os produtos utilizados, base de água da Extase / DS Original da OPI, esmalte para carimbro La Femme e TC Poshé!

Esta foi a mani que preparei carinhosamente para hoje meninas, espero que tenham gostado, pois para mim foi um prazer enorme estar aqui com vocês!!!

Hi ladies!

My name's Elena and I'm so excited to be doing a guest post for Cristina and her readers today! I was torn about what to do for my post but I finally decided on doing mani inspired by a ring. 

I used Lumene Lot's of Berries #17 (base color) - 1 coat, acrylic paint Irisk Silver (for nail art), Catrice Shine Top Coat - 1 coat. 

And I made a small tutorial on this manicure.
