H&M Blue My Mind

Hola guapas! :)

About time an awesome blue showed up here, right?? Yesss! This one really blued my mind! hahaha I really don't know why it took me so long to purchase... but here we go, H&M My Mind!

Já estava na hora de vos presentear com mais um belo azul, certo?? Sim! :) E este realmente deu-me a volta à cabeça devido ao belo e vibrante tom azul! Não sei porque demorei tanto a comprá-lo, mas enfim, ei-lo:

Run to your nearest H&M store and fetch your bottle, that is my advice! lol I don't have any dupes to such a gorgeous and vibrant blue (cof cof I don't even dare do compare haha). Formula wise, it is a bit weird and watery in the first coat but builds nicely with the second one. I loved the shine of H&M Blue My Mind too. This is a brand that has been growing up on me.. I think I will own every H&M blue! lol eventually :p

Um conselho: corram para a loja H&M mais próxima e consigam um exemplar deste belo azul! lol Possivelmente terei dupes da cor na minha colecção, mas nem me atrevo a comparar! xD A formula é aguada e estranha à primeira camada, mas com a segunda a cor constrói-se lindamente. Gostei do brilho. A H&M é uma marca que me tem conquistado aos poucos... pelo menos na área dos azuis! Comprei este H&M Blue My Mind numa promoção, sendo que normalmente ronda cerca de 4€.

Since I had no courage to do nail art in all my nails, I just painted the ring one on white and stamped the image design from DRK-B plate. Then I placed a few neon square studs from BPS and top coated everything with Poshé top coat. I loved the outcome and kept staring at it all the time! What about you?? Kisses,

Não tive coragem para fazer qualquer tipo de nail art e tapar este maravilhoso azul.. por isso brinquei só com o anelar. Carimbei o desenho geométrico da placa DRK-B sobre branco e adicionei studs neon quadrados (comprados na loja BPS). Adorei; e não parei de admirar o resultado final a toda a hora hahah ^^ E vocês? H&M Serenity Now

Hola guapas! :)

A couple of weeks ago H&M was doing a promotion of two polishes for 5€. I took this chance to bring H&M Serenity Now home with me :D I believe it belongs to the 2014 edition because I remember seeng it in the store around earlier February.

Não sei se a H&M ainda está com a mesma promoção ou não, mas há cerca de três semanas tinha uma de 5€ por dois vernizes. Nem pensei duas vezes, agarrei-me logo ao H&M Serenity Now e vim-me embora lol :D Não me lembro dele na loja antes de Fevereiro deste ano, portanto presumo que seja uma edição 2014? Vá-se lá entender a H&M nesse departamento lol.

This polish truly stands out with the WOW factor in H&M shelves *-* Check out that vibrant blue cobalt color! *-* The formula has the consistency of a crelly one, half creme half jelly that is. The shine is amazing as well. The brush is thick and pointed, but it's ok to work with. I didn't like the pigmentation though. The first coat is so watery you wonder if there's an polish at all inside the bottle lol. But alas, the second is so much better! If you have small nails you probably won't need more coats :) To really enjoy H&M Serenity Now I just added random rhinestones to my ring nail, including the star that I think I purchased somewhere in storenvy...

Nas prateleiras da H&M este verniz quase que rebenta para chamar a atenção! O tom azul cobalto é tão vibrante que é impossível ficar-lhe indiferente *-*. A formula é crelly, i.e. uma fusão entre jelly e cremosa. O brilho é bom e o pincel é pontiagudo e um pouco gordo, mas fácil de usar. O que não gostei foi a pigmentação. A primeira camada parece água deslavada bleh; mas com a segunda a coisa compõe-se e se tiverem unhas pequeninas, se calhar nem precisam de uma terceira :) Adicionei algumas pedrinhas/strass ao anelar para lhe dar um up. Sei que comprei a estrela na storenvy, mas não me lembro em que loja...

Have you purchased this baby by any chance? :) Below is a quick stick comparison between the famous Kiko 336 and H&M Serenity Now. The last is shlightly darker than Kiko, but the formula is less great. Kisses,

Por acaso já compraram este menino? :) Fiz uma comparação rápida ente o famoso Kiko 336 e o H&M Serenity Now que podem ver na foto abaixo.  O verniz H&M é um bocadito mais escuro que o Kiko, mas a formula deste +e melhor. Beijinhos,

H&M Something Blue & Swan rhinestone

Today is my day off work... and to celebrate it, I'm going to the dentist later! lol So I'm writting this post before my appointment because... well, in a couple of hours I may be to torn up to do it :p A couple of months ago I received some BPS Store things to review and this is the last one I have to show you. I fall in love with the swan rhinestones whilst checking their website and here it is! :) 

Hoje estou de folga... e para celebrar, vou ao dentista dentro de duas horas! Ha! A modos de precaver-me, estou a escrever este post antes de ir, não vá estar em sofrimento daqui a pouco lol :p Há uns meses recebi umas coisinhas de nail art da loja BPS para rever e o que vos trago hoje é a última. Apaixonei-me por este rhinestone (brilhinho/pedra/strass??) em forma de cisne enquanto navegava pelo site... por isso não hesitei em pedi-lo e aqui está! :)

About the swan rhinestone*, I didn't pick the right size for me, however, I loved to wear it in my ring nails! I started by painting with two coats of H&M Something Blue. It is a jelly polish that's opaque in two coats, although the first one looks very sheer and wrong. It has a gorgeous blue shade and I bought it in sales! :D The gorgeous swan rhinestone piece is to big to be top coated, so in order to seal it in my nails I used nail glue.  But first, I stamped a piece of the waves design from Cheeky Tropical Holiday plate with Color Club Harp On It.

Relativamente ao strass cisne*, estava tão entusiasmada que não escolhi o tamanho certo para moi. Mas apesar de ser grande para mim, na verdade adorei usá-lo nos meus anelares :D Primeiro comecei por pintar as unhas com duas camadas do verniz H&M Something Blue. Comprei-o em saldos no mês passado porque gostei da cor (que dificuldade). Gostei ainda mais de verificar que cobre as unhas com duas camadas, mas a primeira é deveras transparente e estranha. Tem um acabamento jelly, super brilhante. Depois carimbei as unhas com parte do desenho de ondas da placa Cheeky Tropical Holiday e o verniz Color Club Harp On It. Finalmente coloquei o cisne. Ora, como este é demasiado grande para selá-lo com top coat, optei por colá-lo com cola para unhas.

How do you fancy my "swimming swan" manicure? lol I loved it, but in truth, I do love all these elements combined so I have a soft spot. The swan rhinestone isn't all uniform in the inside, but has enough surface to secure it to the nails; so it only lasted a day and half in me. Be sure to check BPS Store and pay attention to the sizes so you get the perfect one for you :) Kisses and wish me luck!

Gostaram da minha nail art de "cisne navegando"? A ideia era fazer um lago, mas à última da hora uma cor simples pareceu-me melhor. O rhinestone não é completamente liso na parte de trás, mas tem superfície suficiente para o segurar na unha com a cola; esta manicure durou-me quase dois dias. Não se esqueçam de confirmar o tamanho dos rhinestones no site da BPS para comprarem algo perfeito para o vosso tamanho de unha :) Beijinhos e desejem-me boa sorte!
