Uber Chic Collection UC-05 Review

Well, hello everyone! :)

Today I bring you a huge post, which is my review of collection 05 of stamping plates by Uber Chic! :) Instead of splitting my review on three as per usual, I decided to gather all the manicures I did for this review in a single post. 

Trago-vos hoje um post bem longo e a minha review da Colecção 05 de placas de carimbo da Uber Chic! :) Em vez de fazer três posts separados como habitualmente faço, decidi juntar num só post todas as manicures que fiz para rever o set 05.

Uber Chic Collection 05 was released back in the beggining of the year and I have shared a lot of manicures with its designs. This collection contains a bit of everything as we are already used to, but is stronger in the feminine side. I was sold with the flowers, particularly the roses haha. Uber Chic have big images to fit large nails. Each design measures 1.7cm per 2.1cm.

A Colecção 05 Uber Chic foi lançada no princípio do ano. Já partilhei muitas manicures com estas placas porque tem desenhos que gosto muito. Amo as flores, particularmente as rosas <3 A colecção 05 tem vários tipos e temas  de desenhos, mas o tema principal foca-se no lado feminino. As imagens são razoavelmente grandes para poderem ser usadas também por quem tem unhas grandes. Os desenhos medem 1.7cm por 2.1cm.

Lets start with something simple & sweet from UC 5-01 plate. I used this manicure in the first week of my new job. I was looking for discreet, but also something "me" and the white stamping did it. I picked the flower pattern and stamped it over picture pOlish Cherish (gorgeous!) with MdU White <3

Vamos começar com algo simples e discreto. Usei esta manicure na primeira semana no meu trabalho novo. Queria algo discreto, mas também algo "eu" e carimbar com branco sobre nude foi perfeito! Escolhi a flor da placa UC 5-01 e carimbei com o verniz MdU White sobre o verniz piCture pOlish Cherish - coisa mai linda! <3

The flower image right next to the above one in the plate 5-01 looks like flower doodles to me. Do you agree? Who never draw doodles? haha :p I stamped the design over Kiko 275 with several different stamping polish colors: DRK Nails Areia, DRK Nails Amarelo Claro and MdU 56 Spring Green. I finished with Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt for a matte look :)

A imagem ao lado da que usei acima na placa 5-01 parece rabiscos, não é? Lembra-me aquelas flores que toda a gente desenha nos cadernos da escola :p Carimbei este desenho sobre o verniz preto Kiko 275 com vários vernizes de carimbo: DRK nails Areia, DRK Nails Amarelo e MdU 56 Spring Green. Por fim e para ter um acabamento matte, useir o top coat Mollon Pro top Coat Matt :)

Speaking of flowers, here's one more ;) For this nail art I picked the bottom large flower design from UC 5-01 and stamped it over the Uber Mat; then I did reverse stamping by painting inside the flower. The base for this nail airt is Golden rose Wow 69, which is a lovely dusty min polih with green shimmer.

E por falar em flores, eis mais uma manicure :) Para esta nail art escolhi a flor grande que está no canto inferior direito da placa UC 5-01. Utilizei o tapete de silicone Uber Mat e fiz adesivos de carimbo com varias cores. Depois transferti o adesivo para as unhas e escolhi para a base o verniz Golden Rose Wow 69. É um verniz com tom menta acinzentado e shimmer verde (encontram na Pluricosmética).

Now I have a sort of arabesque nail art. The design I picked belongs to UC 5-02 plate and it is a full nail design; however I prefered to stamp only part of it and place it near the cuticles - I love the outcome! Base is Anny 046 Private Party, which is a stunning vampy red polish filled with red shimmer. I looks black under certain lights. 

Temos agora uma nail art "arabesca". Escolhi um desenho de unha inteira da placa UC 5-02, mas carimbei só uma parte do desenho junto às cutículas. Gostei bastante :) Para a base escolhi o verniz Anny 046 Private Party. Trata-se de um verniz vermelho escuro e vampy, com shimmer vermelho. A pigmentação é boa e sob certas luzes parece quase preto - gostei!

It can't all be flowers & girly nail arts, right? haha I am in love with a geometric pattern from the left corner of UC 5-02 plate. It somehow screems at me for bright colors and so I did it. :p I used the saran wrap technique for the base whilst using piCture pOlish Chillax and Essence Wanna Be You Sunshine polishes. Black stamping polish is MdU Black.

Não pode ser tudo flores por aqui, certo? Há um padrão geométrico que muito me encantou no canto superior esquerdo da placa UC 5-02 e que não me podia escapar. Escolhi uma base bem alegre e vibrante, feita com a técnica saran wrap e com os vernizes piCture pOlish Chillax e Essence Wanna Be Your Sunshine (entre outros hehe). Para carimbei usei o verniz preto MdU Black.

Next I want to show you a royal blue nail art I did a while ago with UC 5-02 plate as well.. I used Kiko Power Pro 39 Cobalt Blue for the base and it is such a stunning color! <3 I stamped with DRK Nails Azul Claro stamping polish and placed a few yellow dots in the flowers. Love the outcome!

De seguida mostro-vos uma nail art azul cobalto que fiz com a placa UC 5-02. Escolhi para a base o verniz Kiko Power Pro 39 Cobalt Blue que tem uma azul linda e intensa! <3 Carimbei com o verniz de carimbo DRK nails Azul Claro e usei amarelo no centro das flores. Adorei!

Now, let us arrive in the third plate of the set - UC 5-03! The first nail art is a cheerful flower nail art. The base is Jade Sand Explosion which has a dark red sand finish with red shimmer. I stamped the white flower pattern with mdU White and filled in the the centers with several different sand textured polishes. 

Vamos então à terceira placa do set - UC 5-03! Começando com uma manicure com flores e alegre. Na base temos o verniz com acabamento arenoso Jade Sand Explosion. Trata-se de um tom vermelho escuro arenoso com shimmer vermelho, bem lindo! Por cima carimbei com o verniz MdU White e pintei bolinhas de várias cores nos centros das flores com vernizes também de acabamento arenoso.

Next we have a delicate manicure with the delicate print from UC 5-03 plate. Base is L'Apogée Rosa Deslumbrante and for the stamping polish I used Dashica Red. 

De seguida temos uma manicure delicada com o padrão delicado da placa UC 5-03. Apliquei duas camadas do glitter L'Apogée Rosa Deslumbrante e carimbei com o verniz Dashica Red.

Last we have a black & gold mix n' match. I painted a creme black in the index and pointy finger and stamped the arabesque pattern from UC 3-01 in gold. In the other nails I painted two coats of Bourjois Dangerous Wish glitter over black. This is a gorgeous gold glitter in a black sheer base, hence the need for a thick base.

Por fim, uma manicure mix n' match. Apliquei verniz preto no indicador e dedo do meio e depois carimbei com dourado o desenho da placa UC 5-03. Nas outras unhas apliquei o glitter Bourjois Dangerous Wish também sobre preto, isto porque é um glitter numa base preta algo aguada que requer algo consistente por baixo.

Uber Chic Love and Marriage Stamping Plate Review

Hola guapas! :)

Today I bring you my review of Uber Chic Love & Marriage 02 plate. Of course this is the perfect timing to review a romantic plate given that yesterday was Valentine's Day haha. But regardless, these designs can be used anytime of the year at any occasion.

Hoje trago-vos a minha review da placa de carimbo Uber Chic Love & Marriage 02. O timing até é engraçado visto que ontem comemorou-se o dia de S. Valentim. Mas, a verdade é que esta placa tem desenhos perfeitos para serem usados em qualquer ocasião.

Uber Chic Love & Marriage 02 plate has several lace, romantic and cute designs. I'm sure you won't be able to help falling in love with some: either the lace, the cute love birds or the sweet hearts. It just appeals to the girly side of me haha :) The plate itself has a XL rectangular size with designs measuring 1.7cm x 2.2cm. They stamp super well and are well etched :) You can't go wrong with it <3.

É certo que o tema é amor e casamento, pelo que a placa Uber Chic Love & Marriage 02 contém desenhos românticos e rendados. Os meus favoritos são os pássaros, rendas e corações porque apelam ao meu lado mais feminino :) A placa em si é XL rectangular com desenhos de unha inteira que medem 1.7 cm largura x 2.1cm altura; carimbam bem e estão muito bem gravados com linhas definidas. Não há por onde enganar! <3

Uber Chic Love & Marriage 02 plate has a huge lace design in the right side. I thought it would be cool to stamp it on a carnival mask and then pair it with my nails haha! Yes, it was super cool xD I applied Mollon Pro 211 White Elegance to have a white base and then topped it with two coats of Yves Rocher Top Coat Argenté; this is a silver and holo glitter - more silver than holo. It was a Christmas present from my mum :) The stamping polish was MdU Black and look how good those fine lines are crisp and etched! <3

Há um desenho de renda no lado direito que chama imediatamente a atenção pelas suas proporções. Achei que ia ser engraçado fazer uma máscara de Carnaval sexy com este desenho e glitter holográfico (partilhei no IG). Ficou muito engraçado e acabei por fazer igual nas unhas também! :p Usei como base duas camadas do verniz Mollon Pro 211 White ELegance e duas do verniz Yves Rocher Top Coat Argenté; este último é um glitter prata e holográfico que a minha mãe me ofereceu :) (domina o prata). Carimbei com o verniz MdU Black e reparem como as linhas estão super bem definidas! <3

Another design I really like is a full nail lace in the left side of the plate. I decided to create delicate, sort of wedding nail with it. I started by sponging white polish near the tip followed by a light pink polish. Then, I finished with two coats of Jade Além da Lenda. Jade is almost a transparent white polish with tiny silver shimmer. Super feminine and elegant i must say. I stamped the Uber Chic design with MdU White.

Outro desenho que gosto bastante é um de renda do lado esquerdo da placa e tive a ideia de criar um manicure elegante... que pode ser considerada manicure de casamento! :) Comecei por esponjar verniz branco e depois rosa nas pontas das unhas (para criar um degradé). Depois apliquei duas camadas do verniz Jade Além da Lenda que é branco quase transparente com shimmer prata muito fininho e delicado *-* Tenho a dizer que é muito feminino e elegante! Por fim carimbei o desenho de renda com o verniz MdU White.

If you look closely, there's also some very cute and adorable individual images in this plate *-* I had to use them and picked the hearts, love letter and love plain. Aw, I love those doodles and it sort of reminds of school haha. I stamped each design as well as the full love letter design with MdU WHite over Misa High Brow. This is such a gorgeous, vampy red polish! *-* Dark red base filled with red blackened shimmer that somehow makes the polish look black in certain angles.

Se olharem bem de perto, vão reparar que esta placa tem bastantes desenhos pequenos super adoráveis e fofos! Não podia deixar de usar alguns e escolhi os corações, avião e cartas de amor (lembra-me a escola! hahah). Carimbei todos os desenhos com o verniz MdU White sobre o verniz Misa High Brow. Este verniz é tão bonito e sexy! Trata-se de um vermelho vampy que devido ao seu shimmer parece preto nalguns ângulos.

Golden Rose 17 & Breast Cancer Awareness Nail Art

Hello loves :)

As you know, October is the Breast Cancer Awareness month. I believe each one of us can do something to help spread the awareness and also support the women fighting their survival by contributing and giving them hope! Also, you need to make sure you do your annual exams because prevention is the key! As in the last years, I wanted to create a manicure to help spread awareness on social networks and to everywhere I went.

Como sabem, o mês de Outubro é dedicado à consciencialização do cancro da mama. Acredito que cada um de nós pode contribuir para a consciencialização e suportar todas as mulheres que estão a lutar contra esta doença e dar-lhes um pouco de esperança. Aproveito para vos recordar que têm de fazer os vossos exames anuais, o segredo está na prevenção do cancro da mama. Este ano, como nos anos anteriores, fiz uma manicure alusiva no sentido de consciencializar as pessoas por quem me cruzo, tanto nas redes pessoais como fisicamente.

For this manicure, I recycled yesterday's nail art because I looove the black & gold combination too much to remove it ^^ So, I applied two coats of the lovely pink Golden Rose WOW 17; these little bottles of 6ml are surprising me a lot! They're quite cheap and well pigmented :D In the middle finger I stamped the design from UC 3-01 plate. In the ring finger I placed rhinestones and silver beads to create the breast cancer awareness ribbon :)

Reciclei a manicure de ontem porque andava perdida de amores pela combinação de glitter dourado e preto ^^ Nas unhas do meio pintei duas camadas do verniz Golden Rose WOW 17. Estou surpreendida pela positiva com estes pequenos frascos de 6ml; têm boa aplicação, pigmentação e brilho! :) No dedo do meio carimbei a frase da placa UC 3-01; no dedo anelar, desenhei o laço de apoio contra o cancro da mama com pérolas prata e strass rosa.

Mollon Pro 217 Mellow Cherry Review & In Beauty Nails

Hello gorgeous! :)

Yesterday I posted an overview of In Beauty (beauty fair) that happened last weekend in Lisbon (in Portuguese, but you can see check the pictures and read with google translator). Today I want to show you the nails I used for that special day as well as share my review of one of Mollon Pro Fall 2015 polishes.

Publiquei ontem uma revisão da feira de beleza In Beauty que decorreu no fim de semana passado em Lisboa e hoje quero partilhar a manicure que usei! :) Aproveito, e partilho também a review do verniz Mollon Pro 217 Mellow Cherry da nova colecção de Outono 2015.

First, lets start with Mollon Pro 217 Mellow Cherry - what a beautiful color!! I was in love as soon as I saw it *-* It has this vibrant red wine (bordeaux) color. The formula is great, easy to apply and very pigmented, covering nails in almost one single coat. Very good indeed!

Vamos primeiro começar pelo verniz Mollon Pro Mellow Cherry - que cor linda!! Apaixonei-me logo que o vi *-* Trata-se de um tom bordeaux vibrante e sexy. A formula é excelente em todos os sentidos; fácil de aplicar e tão pigmentada que quase cobre com uma única camada. Muito bom!

For this nail art, I applied Jade Black Tie in my pinky, Kiko 275 in ring finger, Mollon Pro Mellow Cherry in middle finger and FUN Lacquer Queen in the other nails. Then I stamped the image from UC 4-02 stamping plate in ring finger with Barry M Gold Foil and placed a round stud in middle nail. I actually wasn't sure on what to where for the beauty fair, but I was very pleased with this manicure :)

Apliquei o verniz Jade Black Tie no dedo mindinho, Kiko 275 no anelar, Mollon Pro Mellow Cherry no médio e o verniz FUN Lacquer Queen nas restantes unhas. Carimbei a imagem da placa UC 4-02 com o verniz Barry M Gold Foil Effects e coloquei um stud redondo no dedo médio. Não tinha ideia nenhuma do que ia usar na In Beauty, mas fiquei bastante contente com esta manicure :)
