Andreia Profissional 14 Ever E15 & Born Pretty Store Black & White Geometric Stickers Review

When I attended In Beauty in last October, I was given a polish to test from the new Andreia Professional 14 Ever collection. As many brands have done, Andreia also created their own gel polish effect line with longer durability than regular polish and no need for LED/UV lamp.

Recebi um verniz Andreia Profissional da linha 14 Ever para testar e opinar no evento In Beauty, que decorreu em Outubro. Tal como outras marcas, a Andreia também lançou uma colecção de verniz com acabamento de verniz gel e durabilidade até 14 dias (sem catalisar em forno LED/UV). 

To achieve the 14-day durability, you must perform three steps: 1) apply Andreia Super Base, 2) apply Andreia 14 Ever color and 3) finish with Andreia Super Shine. I did as required with Andreia E15. The shine is sooo good!! I believe in part due to the jelly finish of Andreia E15, but also due to the 3-step combination. The red color is rather sexy, easy to apply and glossy. 

Para atingir essa durabilidade, há que seguir três passos: 1) aplicar a Super Base Andreia; 2) aplicar a cor Andreia 14 Ever e 2) aplicar o finalizante Andreia Super Shine. Assim fiz com a cor Andreia E15. Este vermelho é tão sexyyy!!! O brilho é qualquer coisa de espectacular, em parte certamente pelo acabam,ento jelly, mas por outro lado por fazer parte da linha com acabamento de verniz gel. Para um verniz jelly, a pigmentação é boa - sendo que apliquei duas camadas muito facilmente.

I never before tried full nail stickers. When I found the black & white geometric stickers (item 23056) available at Born Pretty Store, I asked to review them right away! :p They're easy to apply - just stick the correct size to your nail and press down. All was looking good... but I applied top coat and it didn't work! The sides started lifting, so do not apply top coat! All in all, I believe this is a nice solution for a quick manicure, but not for something that will last more than a couple days.

Nunca experimentei, nem usei adesivos de unha inteira. Por isso, quando vi uns adesivos com padrão geométrico preto e branco (item 23056) muito engraçados na loja Born Pretty Store, quis logo experimentar! :p São super fáceis de aplicar! É só escolher o tamanho certo da unha, colar e pressionar. Vai daí que Dona Cristina acha por bem pôr top coat... estragou tudo! as pontas e laterais começaram a levantar e bleh. Em conclusão, estes adesivos são uma boa opção para uma manicure rápida e bonita, mas não para durar mais de dois dias.

If you don't apply top coat over the BPS black & white geometric stickers, it looks rather nice as in the following nail art! In it I applied Andreia E15 in all nails except the ring finger. I finished with square black studs for a quick nail art et voilá! I quite liked it! :D 

Sem aplicar top coat, estes adesivos geométricos da loja BPS resultam muito bem! Aprendi a lição! Na manicure seguinte apliquei o adesivo no anelar e o Andreia E15 em todas as outras unhas. Terminei colocando tachas pretas quadradas e assim alcancei uma manicure super rápida e fashion! :)

Catherine 548 Review

In the last In Beauty I received the Catherine 548 polish to review and share my thoughts of. This is a limited edition color and is the exact same color as the Catherine brand (I compared haha). It was the first polish I ever tried from this brand, and hence I was super curious about it. 

Na última In Beauty, recebi o verniz Catherine 548 para rever e partilhar a minha opinião sobre o mesmo. Trata-se de um verniz de edição limitada cuja cor é exactamente igual à cor vermelha já tão conhecida da marca Catherine (e sim, eu comparei hehe). É o primeiro verniz que testo e confesso, estava mesmo muito curiosa com a formula!

I love the red color because it's deep and has and orange undertone - super sexy I must say! Catherine 548 (11ml) has a jelly finish and medium pigmentation, covering nails in two/three coats. I noticed the formula dried fast and has such a great glossy shine! The bottle is different from the ones I own andst looks very nice; it has a round "body" with a golden, chic cap. The brush is flat and just like I love. 

O verniz Catherine 548 (11ml) tem um tom vermelho vibrante porque tem um subtom laranja interessante. É bastante bonito e sexy! :) O acabamento é jelly e cobre as unhas com duas/três camadas. Apliquei três porque não gosto de ver a extremidade branca da unha. O brilho é espectacular e seca rápido. O frasco também é bonito e sexy (só estou a ver coisas sexys hoje ehehe); tem um corpo de vidro redondo e uma tampa dourada muito chic! já o pincel é achatado como eu gosto e facilita a aplicação.

Red & black always look super nice together, right? I agree! :) I started the following nail art by doing a gradient featuring Catherine 548 and the black Kiko 275 using a make up sponge. Then, I stamped the beautiful detailed image from EDM05 stamping plate with Barry M Gold Foil Effects. I looooove this!!

Porque preto e vermelho são cores que resultam sempre bem, decidi fazer uma nail art nestes tons. Comecei por fazer um gradiente com os vernizes Catherine 548 e Kiko 275 (preto), com uma esponja de maquilhagem. Depois, carimbei um padrão bastante detalhado da placa EDM05 com o verniz de carimbo dourado Barry M Gold Foil Effects. Adoreeeeeei!!

DRK XL Designer 2 Stamping Plate Review

I took some time off during the last week to relax a bit and I'm back! :) What better way to "return" if not with a DRK Nails stamping plate review?? :D If you follow me at IG then you'll know I received a couple of stamping plates from this Brazilian brand a couple of weeks ago. DRK XL Designer 2 was recently released and I was dying to get my nails on it!

Tirei um tempinho para descansar na semana que decorreu e agora estou de volta! :) E nada como voltar com uma review de uma placa de carimbo DRK Nails, certo?? ;) Se me seguem no IG sabem que recebi algumas placas da DRK Nails há umas semanas, sendo que uma delas é a DRK XL Designer 2 recentemente lançada no mercado. Estava maluca para a poder usar! 

This is a huge stamping plate full of patterns going from pineapples, to flowers and tribal - there's a thing for everyone! About the stamping quality, it is flawless! To give us stamping plates that actually work and are well etched has always been the backbone of DRK Nails. My first DRK plate was DRK-A which I got two years ago and the quality remains <3

Esta é uma placa XL cheia de todo o tipo de desenhos, desde padrões tribais a flores e ananases - há algo para todos os gostos! A qualidade e perfeição a carimbar é maravilhosa e perfeita; uma pessoa já não espera menos da DRK! Aliás, desde que recebi a placa DRK-A há dois anos que a qualidade sempre se manteve <3

The first nail art I did was using the left up corner design which I l-o-v-e! I started by painting three coats of Barry M Coconut (finally mine thanks to my cousin Jess! :D) and dabbing Fun Lacquer King (another super desired polish!! <3) near the cuticles. Then I stamped using La Femme Azul stamping polish. Yes, it felt bad to take off this manicure....

Na primeira nail art que usei fiz questão de usar o padrão do canto superior esquerdo porque é l-i-n-d-o! Comecei por pintar três camadas do verniz nude Barry M Coconut (finalmente meu por intermédio da minha prima Jess :D) e esponjei junto às cutículas o glitter Fun Lcquer King (outro verniz mega, super desejado! <3). Carimbei depois com o verniz de carimbo La Femme Azul. Gostei tanto que me custou tirar esta manicure dias depois...

Two weeks ago we had a warmer weather around here and I was in the mood for some flowers in my nails (when ain't I? haha). I used several El Corazón Aquarelle Tints polishes over white to create the base and the stamped the flower pattern with Mundo de Uñas Black stamping polish.

Há duas semanas tivemos um tempo bem quente e agradável por aqui que me fez desejar uma nail art com flores (como se eu precisa-se de desculpas para colocar flores nas unhas cof cof!). Criei então uma base algo aquarela com vários vernizes El Corazón Aquarelle Tints sobre verniz branco e carimbei com o verniz de carimbo Mundo de Uñas Black.

Last but not least, we have sort of a pond nail art. "Sort of" because I used a pigmented polish (Kiko 239 Rosso Vermiglio) in the first coat instead of a sheer polish. Then I stamped some leafs with Mundo de Uñas White stamping polish and painted a coat of El Corazón Aquarelle Tint 07 (red) over the design to get than floating feeling, Finally, I stamped the flowers with the same stamping polish and top coated it :)

Por fim temos uma espécie de "pond manicure" (a tradução é algo como nail art de lago). Digo "espécie" porque numa pond manicure correcta, na primeira camada é aplicado um verniz jelly; mas na primeira apliquei um verniz mais pigmentado, o Kiko 239 Rosso Vermiglio. Carimbei depois as folhas com o venriz de carimbo Mundo de Uñas Branco, apliquei uma camada do verniz El Corazón Aquarelle Tints 08 (vermelho) e carimbei as flores :)

I did not spot a single negative thing on DRK XL Designer 2 stamping plate and I highly recommend this plate to everyone! :) It's available in two places: you can either get it at the international DRK Nails website (worldwide shipping, but currently out of stock), or in Brasil (where the brand was born) at Esmaltaria da KK website. El Corazón Aquarelle Tints 02 & 11 & Feather Nail Art

It's been a while since I wanted to purchase tints polishes just to play with them and stamping. Yes, I made and have my homemade ones, but I wanted to try others too :) Hence, I pretty much jumped at the opportunity of getting El Corazón Aquarelle Polishes as soon as they were available at Hypnotic Polish! :D But, two colors I wanted went out of stock right away...

Há já bastante tempo que queria comprar vernizes quase transparentes, mais conhecidos por jellies ou tints. Sim, é verdade que tenho os que fiz em casa com top coat e vernizes com acabamento jelly, mas queria experimentar os "verdadeiros" :p De modo que praticamente lancei-me aos vernizes El Corazón Aquarelle Tints assim que ficaram disponíveis na loja online Hypnotic Polish! :D Contudo, não fui rápida o suficiente porque dois dos que mais queria esgotaram...

Anyway, I was able to snatch the other four Aquarelle Tints I wanted. Also, they're now restocked. Two of them are El Corazón Aquarelle Tint 02 (bright/neon green) and 11 (purple). They're quite sheer and oh so perfect! Who would say I would one day love sheer polishes?!? That is for nail art purposes of course because I'm still not fond of the finish as traditional nail polish haha :p Ever since I received my Uber Chic stamping plates that I knew I was going to use the feathers image from UB 2-02 (review soon) with the leadlight stamping technique! And so I did! <3 For this nail art I combined both El Corazón Aquarelle polishes with a pink homemade one and applied them here and there over the feathers. These were stamped in black using Mundo de Uñas Black.

Mas de qualquer forma, comprei os outros quatro que queria :) e entretanto já estão disponíveis na loja. Dois deles são os El Corazón Aquarelle Tint 02 (verde neon) e Aquarelle Tint 11 (roxo). Ambos têm um acabamento super aguado e são perfeitos! :D Quem diria que eu um dia ia escrever estas palavras?? lol Fica a nota de que são perfeitos para nail art porque continuo a não gostar do acabamento jelly transparente como verniz normal :p. Combinei ambos os vernizes com um rosa jelly que fiz em casa com a imagem de penas da placa Uber Chic UB 2-02 (review em breve). Desde que recebi as placas Uber Chic que queria usar a imagem com a técnica leadlight stamping e assim foi <3 Antes de aplicar os vernizes por cima da imagem, carimbei-a com o verniz de carimbo preto Mundo de Uñas Black.

I was so in love with this nail art that I was sad to remove it haha. Also, I got a lot of compliments which is always good ;) In retrospect, maybe I should have stamped a bird there... what do you think? Kisses and have a great weekend,

Uber Chic Beauty 1-03 Stamping Plate Review

Hola guapas! :)

Today I bring you the last stamping plate review of the First Uber Chic Beauty Stamping Set :) You can check my previous reviews of UB 1-01 and UB 1-02 as well. In resume, the entire set contains 101 images for about 24.00 usd, which is great!

Hoje trago-vos a última review da 3º placa que compõe o Primeiro Set de Placas de Carimbo Uber Chic Beauty :) Podem também ver as respectivas reviews das placas anteriores UB 1-01 e UB 1-02. Em resumo, o set inteiro contém X imagens e custa por volta de 22€, dinheiro muito bem gasto!

Like their sisters, UB 1-03 is just gorgeous and perfeclty etched! <3 It contains 34 designs, 24 of which are full nail patterns. In this stamping plate the themes vary between geometric and natural patterns. My favorite is a big flower that I'm yet to use :p 

Tal como as placas irmãs, a UB 1-03 é linda, com desenhos bem gravados que carimbam muito bem! <3 Esta placa contém 34 desenhos, 24 dos quais são padrões de unha inteira. Os padrões esses variam entre motivos geométricos, bem como motivos mais florais e naturais. O meu desenho favorito é a flor maior quase no topo da placa, mas ainda não tive oportunidade de o usar :p

As per usual, I reviewed this plate by doing three different nail arts with it. First, I used a pattern which I don't exactly know what it is haha. Anyway, I stamped it with La Femme Azul over an aquarelle base I did with acrylic paint. In the other nails I painted three coats of Penélope Luz Zanzibar which is one of the most gorgeous textured polishes I own! *-* It dries with a blue matte finish and has green shimmer <3

Como de costume, fiz três manicures de forma a rever esta placa. Na primeira usei uma imagem que não sei bem o que é... talvez algo a ver com algas? :p Carimbei-a com o verniz La Femme Azul sobre uma base de aquarela feita com tantas acrílicas e água. Nas restantes unhas apliquei três camadas do verniz Penélope Luz Zanzibar, que é simplesmente um dos melhores e mais bonitos vernizes texturados que tenho na minha colecção! <3 <3 Seca com acabamento azul matte e tem shimmer verde que é mágico!

Then, I had to play with a geometric patterns and picked the one full of dots in different sizes. I stamped it over black by doing a gradient of colors. I picked the following polishes to stamp with: Mundo de Uñas Spring Green, Aqua and White. Love the full effect!

De seguida tinha efectivamente que brincar com um dos padrões geométricos, sendo que escolhi para o efeito o que tem bolinhas de diferentes tamanhos. Carimbei com vários de vernizes de carimbo de modo a criar um gradiente de cores sobre preto. Os vernizes usados foram os Mundo de Uñas Spring Green, Aqua e White. Adoro o efeito!

Las but not least, I combined two images from the same plate and did stamping decals with them. I started by painting the middle fingers white, then painted two coats of El Corazón Aquarelle Purple 11 and then applied the decals. In the other fingers I applied Penélope Luz Caribe, another stunning textured polish by this indie maker that is just... wow! <3

Por fim temos uma nail art onde combinei duas imagens da mesma placa e fiz adesivos de carimbo com as mesmas. Comecei por pintar as unhas do meio com verniz branco seguido de duas camadas do verniz jelly El Corazón Aquarelle Purple 11 e apliquei os adesivos. Nas restantes unhas pintei o verniz Penélope Luz Caribe, que é mais um verniz arenoso espectacular mas roxo matte com shimmer também roxo! <3
