Today's theme in AIS group is to do a manicure inspired by the book I'm currently reading or just finished so. I'm reading the second book of the 50 Shades of Grey Trilogy. Ah Mr. Grey, Mr. Grey... What wouldn't I do to meet you personally! :) I admire very much E. L. James because she had the guts to write about something though it's not a tabu, it's a very unspoken and private theme: shadomasochism. These are erotic books that will get you hooked up from the first until the last world and eager for more. I really advise you to read and loose yourself ;).
O tema de hoje no grupo AIS é fazer uma manicure inspirada no livro que estou a ler de momento ou no que acabei de ler. Eu estou a ler o 2º livro da trilogia "As cinquenta sombras de Grey" em Inglês e por isso não traduzi a 2º frase deste post. Ahh Mr. Grey, Mr. Grey... o que eu não dava para o conhecer pessoalmente! :) Admiro imenso a autora E. L. James pois ela teve a coragem de escrever sobre um tema, que apesar de não ser tabu, é um assunto pouco falado e reservado: sadomasoquismo. Estes são livros eróticos que vão-nos agarrar desde a primeira à última palavra, deixando-nos ansiosíssimas por mais. Aconselho-vos vivamente a perderem-se nestes livros ;)
The Red Room of Pleasure... is a misterious and exciting room (I don't want to be a spoiler!) and the source of my manicure ideas. First we have the thumb with chains, chains that match the ones in the ceiling of Red Room of Pleasure. Then we have the red leather in my pointy finger that matches the red leather matress over the bed in the same room; I achieved this look with two coats of Capricho Red Carpet polish and stamped with the design from MASH 43 (the most leather look-alike design I own) with La Femme Red.
O "Red Room of Pleasure" (que eu presumo traduzir-se para O Quarto Vermelho do Prazer)... é um quarto misterioso e excitante (não vou revelar mais!) que é também a fonte das ideias da minha mani. Em primeiro lugar temos o polegar com correntes, correntes estas que correspondem àquelas penduradas no tecto do quarto. Depois temos o couro vermelho do meu dedo anelar que corresponde à manta envolta em couro vermelho disposta sobre a cama do Red Room of Pleasure; para este look pintei duas camadas do verniz Capricho Red Carpet e carimbei a imagem da plaquinha MASH 43 (a mais similar a couro que tenho) com o verniz La Femme Vermelho.
The middle and ring finger were inspired by the books covers, but Mr. Grey's grey tie was also used in the Red Room of Pleasure (how I love to pronounce these words lol) to give pleasure... of course ha ha. I used Born Pretty nail art brushes (from the 15pc nail art set) to design the tie and handcuffs (check my 10% discount in the right side bar). As I mentioned, I'm in the middle of book 2 and therefore I don't know what the handcuffs mean just yet (humm thought there's an interesting scene going on with them and a bed in book 1...). The pinky finger has some grey shoes from an Essence plate stamped with Barry M Silver Instant Nail Effects and filled with Capricho Red Carpet. These are meant to represent the grey Louboutins that Miss Steele used for the charity party (standing in them while Mr. Grey introduced some naughty silver balls) :p.
O dedo do meio e indicador foram inspirados nas capas dos livros, mas a gravata cinzenta do Mr. Grey foi utilizada no Red Room of Pleasure (adoro pronunciar estas palavras! lol) para proporcionar prazer... obviamente hi hi. Pintei a gravata e as algemas utilizando pinceis da loja Born Pretty (do set com 15 pinceis de nail art); verifiquem o meu código com 10% de desconto para loja na barra lateral direita. Como mencionei acima, vou a meio do 2º livro e como tal, pouco sei relativamente ao significado das algemas (se bem que há uma cena muito interessante que as envolve juntamente com uma cama no livro 1...). No dedo indicador carimbei uns sapatos cinzentos de uma plaquinha da Essence que visam representar os Louboutins cinzentos que Miss Steele utilizou no baile de caridade (e sob os quais permitiu que Mr Grey introduzisse uma certas bolas prateadas malandras) :p

I loved doing these nails... but not as much as reading the books lol. I have limited time as of right now or else I would have devoured them all! Once more I advise you to read and enjoy, I'm sure you'll have some new ideas for the futuro with your boyfriend/husband ;) Some of my blogger friends (Marta e Alexandra) have told me they are eager for more books in Mr Grey perspective (I sure would love that!) and for a continuation book (I can't talk about it right now), but I do agree! lool Have a great Sunday and Kisses :)
Adorei fazer esta manicure... mas não tanto quanto ler os livros lol. Tenho o tempo bastante limitado senão já teria lido todinhos! Uma vez mais, aconselho-vos a ler e desfrutar, tenho a certeza que terão novas ideias para o futuro com o namorado/marido ;) Algumas das minhas amigas blogueiras (Marta e Alexandra) disseram-me que estão ansiosas por mais livros na perspectiva do Mr. Grey (eu adoraria!) e por um livro de continuação (sobre o qual não me posso pronunciar), mas de certeza que irei concordar! lool Tenham um óptimo Domingo e beijinhos :)
