Monkey see, Monkey do - Leopard Print

Hola chicas!! :D

It's monkey see, monkey do time! lool i love this chalenge! Today i was inspired by a zebra manicure that i turned into a leopard print :p I had this manicure in mind for so many months now lool... so many that i believed i was inspired by another one, but nops, i realized i was inpired by Stephanie Sowell Mann :)

Está na altura do "macaquinho de imitação"!! lool adoro este desafio! Hoje inspirei-me numa manicure zebra que transformei em leopardo :p Já tinha esta manicure na minha cabeça há alguns (muitos) meses lol... tantos meses que assumi que tinha sido inspirada por outra, mas não, fui mesmo inspirada pela Stephanie Sowell Mann :)

There's nothing in common except the inspiration :) I do love hers very much! :D I started with Purple Nº8 as a base (portuguese brand that i mentioned here and also stamps good). Then i did a free hand triangle using Color Club Antiquated; i let it dry and then applied tape to be able to stamp with BM221 and special black polish from Essence; also used a dotting tool to fill in the leopard design with the Purple one :)

Não há quase nada em comum excepto a inspiração :) Gosto imenso da manicure dela :D Comecei com o Purple Nº8 como base (uma nova marca portuguesa que falei aqui e que carimba bem). Depois fiz um triângulo à mão com o Color Club Antiquated; deixei secar e depois apliquei uma fita cola sobre o rosa/bourdeaux para poder carimbar com o verniz preto especial da Essence e a plaquinha BM221 sobre o dourado. Para terminar, preenchi os espaços com o Purple utilizando uma dotting tool :)

Monkey See, Monkey Do - Tuxedo nails

Olá meninas!

Today i bring you the Monkey See, Monkey do weekly chalenge that turned out a fail loool. I tryed but tape manis don't really work for me and less did the bows... well, one day i will succeed! lol

Hoje trago-vos o desafio do "macaquinho de imitação" que ficou uma desgraça loool Eu bem tentei, mas ainda não acertei com as manicures com fita cola, nem muito menos com os lacinhos... enfim lool um dia hei-de conseguir!

I was inspired by this manicure done by Sarah from Chalkboard Nails blog (she did an amazing job, very clean :D)

Bom, inspirei-me nesta manicure da Sarah do blog Chalkboard Nails (ela fez uma manicure fantástica, muito limpa :D)

And here are the materials i used to accomplish this manicure (if you are interested in doing a tuxedo manicure, Sarah did a very good tutorial)

E utilizei os seguintes materiais para alcançar esta manicure (se estiverem interessadas em fazer esta manicure de smokings, a Sarah fez um tutorial muito bom)

Golden Rose calcium milk, Julep Basecoat, White polish, Miyo black, China Glaze Visions of grandeur, Poshé fast top coat, tape, dotting tool and a small brush

I hope next week i get inspired by something more easy to do lool in the meantime stay with the lovely manicure done by my fellow challenge bloggers :)

Second round of Monkey see, monkey do is up!! lool! I didn't know what to do until yesterday; i kept thinking and suddenly, voilá! there was a big shiny light in my brain! lool

Prontas para a segunda ronda do "macaquinho de imitação"? loool! Não sabia o que fazer até ontem, andei sempre a pensar neste assunto e de repente, voilá!, surgiu uma luz brilhante no meu cérebro! lool

So, i decided to imitate Emily from blog The Lacquerologist with this manicure. I loved this manicure she did to a chalenge because it's so simple and elegant! :)

Portanto, decidi imitar a manicure feita pela Emily do blog The Lacquerologist. Adorei a manicure que ela fez para um desafio, principalmente pela sua simplicidade e elegância :)

Eis os materiais que utilizei :p

Cliché Gótico, Spoiled Designated Driver, Colorama Única camada Violeta e Verde Água, Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power, Myo Papaya/Mango, Golden Rose top coat and a Dotting tool.

I really like this :) And it also gets attention in street lol. See you soon, kisses!!
