Mollon Pro Monophase 42 Susanna Gel Polish Review

Today I bring you one more monophase gel polish from Mollon Pro Spring Trends collection. This is 42 Susanna, the yellow of the collection. You can check the other 4 of the collection that I have previously reviewed so far: Mollon Pro Monophase 43 Annika, 45 Giada, 46 Aurora and 47 Giorgia.

Hoje trago-vos mais uma review dos vernizes gel monofásicos Mollon Pro da colecção de Primavera 2015 Spring Trends. Refiro-me ao amarelinho da mesma chamado Susanna. Desta colecção já revi anteriormente os vernizes gel Mollon Pro 43 Annika, 45 Giada, 46 Aurora e 47 Giorgia.

I am in love with the application of these gel polishes, so smooth! Susanna took three thin coats to fully cover my nails, but I think you can apply two more generous ones ;) I had no issue concerning cuticle flooding or shrinking. Mollon Pro Monophase Susanna is probably the cutest yellow that has ever crossed my nails... I LOVE it! Its a sweet yellow, not bright in your face, but clearly Spring-y and so, so sweet! I cured the first coat in a LED Lamp for 1.5 min (2min in UV lamp) and the second and third for 3 min each (4 min in UV lamp). Since this is a monophasic formula, top coat and base coat are already included in the formula and there's no sticky layer to clean. You are ready to go! :)

Estou apaixonada pela aplicação destes vernizes, tão fácil e tão suave! Aplica-se quase como manteiga derretida. O Susanna em particular cobre as unhas com três camadas finas ou duas se forem mais generosas que eu. Este é possivelmente um dos amarelinhos mais fofos que já cruzaram as minhas unhas... ADORO! É um tom amarelo que não é neon, mas tem um je ne se quois vibrante e bem Primaveril. Curei a primeira camada na lâmpada LED durante 1.5 min (2 min em lâmpada UV) e as restantes camadas durante 3 min cada na mesma lâmpada (4 min cada numa lâmpada UV). Como a formula monofásica já inclui base e top coat, além de não ter camada de expressão final para limpar, basta então pintar as unhas e estão prontas para sair! ;)

There's lots of things you can do with a yellow base... I actually wanted some flowers, but then changed my mind and did an ethnic nail art haha ;p In the middle nails I applied three coats of Revel Nail Honor and then stamped the ethnic pattern from DRK XL Designer 2 with Mundo de Uñas Black stamping polish. In the pinky I applied two coats of Revel Nail Rebel and sealed everything with Revel Nail Top Coat.

Há variadas nail arts que podem ser feitas com amarelo como base. Inicialmente queria fazer algo com flores, mas rapidamente mudei de ideias para um padrão étnico haha :p Apliquei três camadas de verniz gel branco Revel Nail Honor nas unhas do meio e carimbei o padrão étnico da placa de carimbo DRK XL Designer 2 com o verniz de carimbo Mundo de Uñas Black. No dedo mindinho apliquei duas camadas do verniz gel Revel Nail Rebel.

Mollon Pro Monophase 45 Giada Gel Polish Review & Roses Nail Art

I have more Mollon Pro Monophase gel polishes to share with you from the Spring Trends 2015 collection :) Today I bring you Mollon Pro Monophase 45 Giada, the green gel polish of the collection.

Tenho mais vernizes gel Mollon Pro da colecção de Primavera Spring Trends 2015 para vos mostrar e hoje é dia do 45 Giada, o verdinho da colecção :)

I find it hard to describe greens... not my best color area haha Anyway, Mollon Pro Giada is a green polish with certain mint undertones to it. It covers nails in three thin coats or three coats if you're more generous than me ;) I found no issues concerning cuticle flooding or shrinking :) Both base coat and top coat are included in the formula, hence after previous nail buffing and cleaning, I applied one coat and cured in a LED Lamp for 1.5 min (2 min in UV lamp) and cured further coats in the same lamp for 3 min each (4 min in UV lamp). There is no need to clean the sticky layer because it is absent... you are ready to go! :)

É-me difícil descrever verdes, mas este tem um certo subtom de menta... mas não é bem menta haha. De qualquer forma. o verniz Mollon Pro Giada cobre as unhas com três camadas fininhas ou com duas camadas se forem mais generosas que eu :p.  A base e o top coat estão incluídos na formula, além de que a formula monofásica não tem camada de expressão para limpar no fim. Então, basicamente é só aplicar, curar e já está! :D Apliquei a primeira camada e curei durante 1.5 min numa lâmpada LED (2 min em lâmpada UV) e as restantes camadas curei cada uma durante 3 min na mesma lâmpada (4 min na lâmpada UV). Não verifiquei quaisquer constrangimentos em termos de escorrimento para as cutículas ou encolhimento do verniz gel.

This green color reminds me of flowers, that is why I decided to do a roses nail art. I applied three coats of Revel Nail Honor gel polish to obtain a white base. Then, I used several acrylic colors from Hanna Vasko as well as a fine brush to draw several roses and leafs across my nails. I finished with a bow rhinestone and Revel Nail top coat. I enjoyed my nail art so much! *-*

Esta cor verde lembra-me a flores e folhas, motivo pelo qual decidi fazer uma nail art com rosas. Apliquei três camadas do verniz gel Revel Nail Honor para ter uma base branca e criar contraste com o verde. Depois pintei as rosas e folhas com várias tintas acrílicas da Hanna Vasko e um pincel fininho. Terminei colocando o laço bronze e aplicando uma camada do top coat Revel Nail para selar tudo no lugar. Adorei esta nail art, tão Primaveril! *-*

Mollon Pro Monophase 43 Annika & BPS BP 51 Stamping Plate Review

Today I have the second monophase gel polish to show you from the Mollon Pro Spring Trends collection :) It is called Annika and yes, of course I matched it with some nail art because well, I can! :p

Hoje tenho o segundo verniz gel da colecção Mollon Pro Monophase Spring Trends para vos mostrar :) Chama-se Annika e sim, é claro que também o vou mostrar combinado com uma nail art porque posso! :p

I am surprised with myself because I reached for this orange shade so soon... our tastes really do evolve in time! hahapplies just like her sister Giorgia; because it is a monophase gel polish, base and top coat are incorporated in the formula, hence you apply the first coat in the nail (previously cleaned and filed), cure for 1.5min and then cure the second coat for 3min in a LED lamp (2min and 4min, respectively for UV lamp). I found this color only needs two coats for full nail coverage. This is a nice Spring orange color which is not too dull nor too bright on the eyes - hard to describe hehe.

Os nossos gostos realmente evoluem ao longo do tempo.. ninguém diria que foi a segunda cor que usei da colecção seria o laranja ;) Apliquei este verniz gel tal como o seu irmão Giorgia: começando por uma camada (sobre unhas limpas e limadas) que foi curada na lâmpada LED por 1.5 min e depois pela segunda camada, curada em 3 min na mesma lâmpada (os tempos de cura na lâmpada UV são 2min e 4min, respectivamente). Duas camadas são o suficiente para atingir opacidade total da unha. Já a cor em si, é difícil de descrever... é Primaveril, um algo entre laranja escuro e laranja claro... bonita!

For this nail art, I premiered BPS BP-51 stamping plate with this cute geometric design. It is my favorite design from BP-51 stamping plate which contains nine designs (I also really like like that feather). I noticed the design didn't stamp perfectly in my nails and there are a few white spots. Its the first "wrong" I see in the BPS BP 46-55 stamping plates set. I started by painting two coats of Revel Nail Honor gel polish and then stamped using Mundo de Uñas Black stamping polish and sealed with Revel Nail Top Coat. Simple, but pretty outcome :)

Estreei a placa de carimbo BP-51 da loja BPS nesta manicure com um desenho geométrico. É por acaso o meu desenho favorito da placa, sendo que a mesma contém cerca de nove desenhos. Podem ver que há algumas falhas na transferência do desenho para as unhas; é realmente o primeiro senão que encontro no set de placas de carimbo BP 46-55. Comecei por aplicar duas camadas do verniz gel Revel Nail Honor e depois carimbei com o verniz de carimbo Mundo de Uñas Black e selei com o Revel Nail Top Coat. Simples mas bonito :)

Mollon Pro Monophase 47 Giorgia Gel Polish Review

Mollon Pro recently released their Spring Trends Monophase gel polish collection and oh my, the colors are so pretty! <3 We're talking about six cremes with sweet, Spring-y colors. I received the entire six color collection and I'm going to show you each one individually in the upcoming days :) I have previously reviewed the Monophase line with durability and quality tests, hence you can check them to get more info about these ;)

A Mollon Pro lançou recentemente a sua colecção de verniz gel Monophase de Primavera composta por seis vernizes gel com cores muito fofas e alegres :)  A colecção chama-se Spring Trends. Recebi toda a colecção para rever, pelo que nos próximos dias vou rever cada cor individualmente. Já revi e testei a nível de durabilidade e qualidade esta linha de verniz gel monofásico anteriormente, pelo que não deixem de ver o post para saberem mais sobre a excelente qualidade da mesma! :)

The first one I used (maybe I do have a soft spot for nudes!) is Mollon Pro Monophase Giorgia gel polish (10ml). You could say it is a plain nude, but oh how I love the way the creme nude shade matches my skin! <3 Love! I applied to easy coats and cured them in a LED Lamp for 1.5min (first coat) and 3 min (second coat) as per instructions of the brand. Mollon pro Giorgia isn't a full creme, more of a lightly sheer gel polish because you can see the white nail line in some colors. it's quite elegant! As the monophase name says, top and base coat are included in the formula, hence I applied the gel polish directly in my nails and only prep them before by lightly buffing and applying a primer (IBD Stick Primer).

Suspeito que tenho um ligeiro (grande) fraco por vernizes nude porque o primeiro verniz gel que usei foi o Mollon Pro Monophase Giorgia (10ml). Podia dizer que tem um tom nude quase banal, mas seria mentira porque a forma como combina com o meu tom de pele é mágica! <3 Adoro! Segui as instruções da marca para o aplicar; foram duas camadas bastante fáceis de manusear sem escorrer para as cutículas, sendo que a primeira camada foi curada durante 1.5 min na Lâmpada LED e a segunda curado por 3min na mesma lâmpada. Antes de aplicar o verniz limei ligeiramente a unha com buffer e limpei e preparei a unha com primer (IBD Stick Primer). Como o nome Monophase indica, tanto a base como o top coat vêm incorporados no verniz, pelo que é basicamente só têm de pintar as unhas, curar na lâmpada e já está! :D Considero o acabamento do verniz gel Mollon Pro Monophase Girogia mais jelly do que cremoso pigmentado porque é possível ver as pontas brancas das unhas sob algumas iluminações; tenho a dizer que fica mesmo elegante! <3

I've seen a lot of gadrients/xx nail arts out there, but never tried it myself. It was about time! I did a fading gradient with black (Revel Nail Rebel gel polish) and Mollon Pro Monophase Giorgia. I used a flat brush to pull the black gel polish from cuticles to the middle of the nail and cured between coats in the LED Lamp. This was challenging but worth it! :D After it, I decided to stamp in black (with Mundo de Uñas Black stamping polish) a curious image fom Messy Mansion 46 stamping plate (curious because I'm not sure what it is supposed to be hehe). Finally, I sealed everything with two coats of Revel Nail Top Coat gel polish top coat. I LOVED the outcome!!! *-*

Já vi bastantes manicures Mundo fora com gradiente/degradé de vernizes gel mas nunca antes tentei fazer este tipo de nail art. Desta vez é que foi hehe! Usei o verniz gel preto Revel Nail Rebel e com um pincel achatado e ligeiramente angular, puxei a cor desde as cutículas até meio da unha, curando entre camadas para selar e criar o efeito de gradiente. Não vou dizer que ficou perfeito, mas eu sem dúvida que fiquei bastante satisfeita! :D Descobri também que preciso de mais pincéis de nail art... :p Depois de selar o gradiente com top coat gel na Lâmpada LED, carimbei o desenho da placa Messy Mansion MM 46 com o verniz de carimbo Mundo de Uñas Black e selei tudo com duas camadas de top coat gel (Revel Nail Top Coat).

Acho que tenho de experimentar fazer mais combinações de gradientes com verniz gel num futuro próximo :) O maior desafio é realmente não sujar as cutículas, de modo que é preciso minúcia a fazer este tipo de nail art. Rudolph Reindeer Christmas Sweater Nails

Hey guys! :)

The inspiration for today's post comes from a Christmas Sweater that I saw in a shop last week (Pull & Bear shop). It is a white sweater with red snowflakes and a cute reindeer face with a red nose - Rudolph reindeer that is :p I was very tempted to purchase it... but refrained myself hehe.

A inspiração do post de hoje é de uma camisola de Natal que vi na Pull & Bear (esta aqui). Não é adorável?? Vi-a na loja na semana passada, resisti a comprar... mas assim que cheguei a casa, meti mãos à obra! ;)

This is the most recent sweater nails I used and I LOVED it! I started this manicure by painting two coats of Revel Nail Honor gel polish (I told you I love it!). Then, I stamped the sweater pattern from MoYou Festive 04 plate with Dashica Red. For the ring finger, I had to freehand the reindeer face since I don't own an exact stamping pattern (I wish!) :p. Anyway, the most fun part of this nail art is the rudolph nose! I did it with loose red plush powder. looove it to pieces! 

Disse-vos no último post que ando maluca com nail arts de camisolas de Natal. Pois bem, esta foi a mais recente :p Comecei por pintar as unhas com duas camadas do verniz gel Revel Nail Honor (já vos disse que amo este branco??).  Depois carimbei o padrão de camisola com flocos de neve da placa MoYou Festive 04 com o verniz de carimbo Dashica Red. Por fim, desenhei a face da rena Rodolfo com tinta acrílica preta (bem gostava de ter o desenho numa placa...) e fiz o nariz vermelho com pó de veludo (Obrigada Ana :p). Ficou adorável!!!!

I believe this is my favorite Christmas mani so far <3 Maybe I'll recreate it for a special night in 10 days... who knows? ^^ In the meantime, I hope I gave you some inspiration for the upcoming days :) Kisses,

Revel Nail Honor Gel Polish Review & Snowflakes Foil Nail Art

I think I'm hooked to the stamping foil technique... the outcome is stunning! That being said, you can imagine today's post content ;) I realised that this technique works far more better with gel polishes than regular ones. I tried both ways in my two hands, and the one with gel polish is the best! So, it's not only about having a stamping polish that doesn't dry too fast (so that the foil can adhere to it), but also having the less porous base possible. At last, this was my conclusion.

Estou completamente encantada com a técnica de carimbar com foil, acho que fica simplesmente brutal! De modo que temos esta nail art no post de hoje :p Apercebi-me que a técnica resulta muito melhor sobre vernizes gel do que vernizes normais. Experimentei verniz gel numa mão e verniz normal noutra, sendo que cheguei à conclusão que superfície pouco porosa é o melhor  - neste caso, "ganhou" o verniz gel. Além disto, o verniz de carimbo não pode secar muito rápido de modo a que o foil lhe adira. 

 
For my base, I picked Revel Nail Honor. This is a white pigmented creme gel polish - lovely! I'm really happy with the easy application and how it turns out. There's something magical about wearing simple white polishes... I followed the application procedure suggested by the brand and just like the previous creme polishes I tried, this one had no issue in terms of cuticle flooding or shrinking :) I'm afraid I'll use my 15ml bottle to th last drop! haha

Escolhi o verniz gel Revel Nail Honor como base. É um verniz branco cremoso - adorável! Aliás, há qualquer coisa de mágico em usar verniz branco *-* Fiquei muito satisfeita com a aplicação e cobertura deste verniz gel, o que já era de esperar ;) Segui o método de aplicação recomendado pela marca e não verifiquei qualquer encolhimento do verniz gel, nem este escorreu para as cutículas. Parece-me que este vou usar este branco até à última gota! hehehe

As I indicated above, you need to find a stamping polish that will work well with your foil. I tried all my golds and Barry M Gold Foil Effects was the only one that worked (Barry M, I love youuuu!). It also has been mentioned in FB groups that Konad and Bissú stamping polishes work as well :) So, for this nail art I chose a gold foil from Luxos Baratuxos and the snowflake pattern from Bundle Monster BM-323 plate. I stamped a nail at a time and applied the foil right after placing the design in my nail. To match the Christmas feeling, I did a Christmas wreath in my ring finger out of several studs & rhinestones.

Como dei a entender acima, é preciso encontrar um verniz de carimbo que funcione bem com o foil. Experimentei todos os dourados que tenho e só o Barry M Gold Foil Effects funcionou (amo-te Barry M!!). Mas segundo vários grupos no FB, os vernizes de carimbo da Konad e Bissú também funcionam. Nesta nail art usei um foil dourado que adquiri com na Luxos Baratuxos e padrão de flocos de neve da placa Bundle Monster BM-323. Para fazer a técnica de carimbar com foil é preciso fazer uma unha de cada vez e assim que o desenho for transferido para unha - aplicar de imediato o foil e pressionar por uns segundos. Se tudo correr bem, o foil adere ao desenho de imediato :) Já a entrar no espírito natalício, decidi fazer uma grinalda de Natal usando diversos strass e studs no anelar :)

Revel Nail Rebel Review & Lace Nail Art

Today I bring you a great black gel polish review and a sexy nail art (or at least that's how I felt when using it :p). The star of this post is Revel Nail Rebel.

Hoje trago-vos um excelente verniz gel preto e uma nail art sexy (ou pelo menos foi assim que me senti quando a usei heheh :p). A estrela do post é o verniz gel Revel Nail Rebel.

Why a great black gel polish? Because this is a two coater! I have read in many places how hard it is to find a pigmented black gel polish and I have to say I'm happy the only one I own hehe. Like the previous Revel Nail gel polishes I reviewed, Rebel has a great formula! Easy to apply and presents a good fluidity on the nail. There was no pooling or cuticle flooding. I applied it with Revel Nail Base and Top Coat following the brand application time procedure :)

Porquê um excelente verniz gel preto? Ora, porque cobre as unhas com duas camadas! Sorte a minha que sendo o único que tenho, é tão bom hehe. Isto porque já li por várias vezes como é dificícil encontrar verniz gel preto pigmentado. A formula é óptima e similar aos que já postei anteriormente; é fluida, fácil de aplicar e não escorre para as cutículas. Apliquei o Rebel segundo os tempos recomendados pela marca e utilizando o Revel Nail Base e Revel Nail Top Coat.

About the nail art... I was in a black & white mood, plus I got Vivid Lacquer VL-028 plate a while ago and was dying to use it :) I picked the rose pattern (the very reason why I bought this plate) and randomly stamped it over Rebel using Dashica White Polish. Then, I sealed everything with a coat of Revel Nail Top Coat. For a pop of color, I placed pink nail tape in my ring finger in a sort of negative space nail art. It wasn't my original idea (I wanted a black bow), but you gotta work with what you got! ;)

Relativamente à nail art, esta surgiu da minha vontade de finalmente usar a placa Vivid Lacquer VL 028 (acho que comprei no Verão...). Escolhi o desenho das rosas (favorito) e carimbei-o aleatoriamente nas unhas com o verniz Dashica White. De seguida selei o desenho com uma camada do Revel Nail Top Coat. No dedo anelar coloquei uma fita cor de rosa para dar um toque de cor, se bem que a minha ideia era colocar um laço preto; mas só podemos trabalhar com o que temos! ;)
