Dote Sexy

Hello ladies :)

The weather is still as bad around here an in all the North Hemisphere :s But that doesn't stop me from feeling the Spring spirit and using flowers in my nails ;) The star of this post is Dote Sexy, a suprise gift from Marcia Lima and I love it, it's a stunning color!

O tempo ainda continua péssimo por cá, tak como por todo o Hemisfério Norte :s Mas tal não me impede de sentir o espírito Primaveril e usar flores nas unhas :) A estrela deste post é o Dote Sexy, uma surpresa da Márcia Lima que adorei, tem uma cor fabulosa!

Sexy indeed! It's hard to describe this color... it's either a magenta leaning pink or a pink leaning magenta lol. Either way, it's absolutely gorgeous!! Believe me I felt sexy and powerfull with it in my nails *.* Dote Sexy is a Neon finish polish, hence this shine doesn't belong to it because it dries in a rubber finish. I added Seche Vite top coat because I don't like the rubber finish and I prefer it glossy much better :) Application went ok with a little thick but manageable formula. I only needed two coats :)

Sem dúvida que é sexy!! É-me difícil definir a cor... é tanto um magenta inclinado para o rosa ou um rosa inclinado para o magenta lol. Seja como for, não tenham dúvidas de que me senti sexy e poderosa com este lindão!! *.* O Dote Sexy é um verniz Neon e como tal tem um acabamento tipo borracha. Eu pessoalmente não gosto desse acabamento, então apliquei uma camada de Seche Vite e gosto muito mais do brilho :) A aplicação foi pacífica apesar da formula ser um pouco espessa, mas manuseável. Duas camadas foram o necessário para cobrir as unhas :)

Dote Sexy lasted alone in my nails for two days, after which I was needing some nail art lol. I decided to give it some sparkle with a coat of Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor and then stamped these big flowers from Gals GA 31 plate with MASH Black polish :) 

O Dote Sexy durou sozinho dois dias nas minhas unhas, findos os quais tive que fazer uma nail art lol. Decidi dar-lhe mais algum brilho com uma camada do Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor e depois carimbei estas flores da plaquinha Gals GA 31 com o verniz MASH Black :)

Loved it! Dote Sexy gets kind of lost personally with Pearl Harbor and the flowers in top, I could only see the beautiful color with strong direct light. But it was worth it :) In Portugal the most similar color to Dote Sexy, as far as my collection says, is Yes Love K039 and when I get my Illamasqua Obsess I intend on comparing all :) I really hope you get a color like this in your life, it will make you feel powerfull ;) Hope you liked my nail art too and kisses :)

Adorei!!! O Dote Sexy fica a modos que perdido pessoalmente com o Pearl Harbor e as flores por cima; só com luzes fortes e directas é que consegui vislumbrar a linda cor, mas valeu a pena :) Em Portugal, o verniz mais similar com o Sexy, segundo a minha colecção, é o Yes Love K39. Quando receber o meu Illamasqua Obsess pretendo comparar estes todos :) Recomendo que todas as mulheres tenham uma cor assim na sua colecção porque, efectivamente, vão-se sentir poderosas quando a usarem :) Espero que tenham gostado da nail art e beijinhos :)

Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power & Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor

Oi guapas!! :)

Today i'm going to talk about a manicure i used the same day i did an university exam last week. The idea was to wear something discret and that wouldn't distract me from whatever i was writting... Well, that's not what happened lool take a look

Hoje vou-vos falar da manicure que usei na semana passada para ir a um exame. A ideia era ser discreta e não levar nada nas unhas que não me distraí-se do que estava a escrever... pois... não foi o que aconteceu lool Ora vejam

I thought i was just going to wear a nice and simple color so i choosed Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power. It's not simple... its a vivid creme pink that covered my nails in one coat (i did two anyway). I loved the brush and formula :) There is some bubbles nevertheless because of my friend (!!) heat and some operation issues (i was studying and not paying too much attention on painting my nails) :p

Eu pensei em usar uma cor simples e bonita, portanto escolhi o Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power (à venda no Jumbo por 4.45€ - consegui o meu numa troquinha mesmo antes do jumbo ter o expositor da Sally Hansen). Bom, a simplicidade não ocorreu... este verniz tem um tom rosa vivo cremoso e cobre a unha numa só acamada (fiz duas porque sim lol). Adorei o pincel e a formula :) Infelizmente há algumas bolhas provocadas pelo meu amigo (!) calor e erros operacionais (eu estava concentrada no estudo e não no acto de pintar as unhas) :p

To cover those tiny mistakes i decided to add something, and that something is Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor. Pearl harbor has green, blue and silver microglitter in a transparent base and these colors shift while i move my hands. Needless to say i was mesmerized before, during and after the exam xD

Para cobrir os pequenos erros decidi adicionar algo mais e esse algo chama-se Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor. O verniz Pearl Harbor possui microglitters azuis, verdes e prateados numa base transparente, sendo que estas cores alternam-se enquanto movo as mãos. Escusado será dizer que eu fiquei hipnotizada antes, durante e depois do exame xD

I loved it! Simple and beautiful, i loved the color transition :) Ohhh and yes, i did passe my exam with a nice grade lol eh eh. But i do not advise you to wear such manicure to an evaluation like this lol Kisses!

Amei! Simples e lindo, adorei a transição de cores do glitter :) Ahh e sim, passei no exame com uma boa nota lol eh eh. Mas não vos aconselho a usar tal manicure numa avaliação destas lol Beijinhos!!

Sinful Colors Neptune

Hey guys! :)

Not even on purpose did i have a Sinful colors polish to show you. In my defense i wore it last week before of Yesterday's scandal in USA (a shame!!!). Sinful Neptune (god of the sea) belongs to the Sinful Colors Castaway collection released this year and it has a beautiful royal blue color that i adore!

Nem de propósito eu tenho um verniz da marca Sinful Colors para vos mostrar. Em minha defesa, eu usei este verniz na semana passada antes de rebentar o escândalo ontem nos Estados Unidos (uma vergonha!!). O Sinful Neptune (deus do mar) pertence à colecção Castaway de 2012 e possui um tom azul royal que eu adoro!

In addition to the blue base there is a silver shimmer/microglitter that makes this polish stand out either on summer or winter. The first coat is bad, but the polish builds itself on the second coat. I did three coats i believe (lol). After i used Essence better Than Gel Nails hence i have no idea of the drying time :p I love this color (and all blues ah ah) so much that i have used it three times in my toe nails since i got it from lovely Charity :)

Em adição ao tom azul royal da base, este verniz também possui um shimmer/microglitter prata que o faz distinguir de muitos de tom semelhante. A primeira camada é má, mas à segunda camada o verniz constrói-se ficando mais opaco. Eu passei três camadas (penso que... lol). Depois utilizei o Essence Better that gel Nails da Essence e por isso não tenho noção do tempo de secagem deste Neptune :p Gosto tanto desta cor (e de todos os azuis ah ah) que já o usei três vezes nas unhas dos pés desde que o recebi da querida Charity :)

I wanted to stamp it... but i had no idea of what lol. This idea of combining stars got to my head after a while and i stamped the small french star from MASH 27 and the bigger ones from MASH 49. The stamping color are Barry M silver and gold foil special effects in alterning fingers :p

Euq ueria carimbar este verniz mas não sabia com o quê lol. Surgiu então a idea de combinar estrelas, nomeadamente as pequeninas do carimbo de francesinha da plaquinha MASH 27 e as maiores da plaquinha MASH 49. As cores que usei para carimbar foram os Barry M dourado e prata da colecção Foil Special Effects em unhas alternadas :p

I don't like very much of the final result, it's interesting but not my best. I do prefer Sinful Neptune alone (what a great color) lol at least until i get a better idea ah ah

Não gosto muito do resultado final, é interessante mas não o meu melhor. Prefiro o Sinful Neptune sozinho (que rica cor!) lol ou pelo menos até me surgir uma idea melhor eh eh

Sinful Colors Cinderella

Hello there! Have a great friday everyone, weekend is just ahead of us! :D

Olá minha gente! Tenham uma óptima sexta-feira que o fim de semana já aqui está! :D

I know there is a lot of reviews and posts about the polish i bring you today, but i am pretty happy i have my own Cinderella! It's gorgeous! I actually used him to go to a interview... which i didn't get - hummm hopefully not because of the polish lol. This is the first time i wear him alone, since i previously did a glitter sandwich with cinderella :p *All pictures are in the sun*

Eu sei que há uma enorme quantidade de posts e reviews do verniz que hoje vos mostro, mas estou muito contente por ter o meu próprio Cinderella! Na realidade usei-o para ir a uma entrevista... mas não fiquei com o lugar - espero que não devido ao verniz lol. Esta é a primeira vez que uso-o sozinho, já que fiz uma sandwich de glitters com o cinderella há algum tempo :p *Todas as fotos são ao sol*

Sinful collor cinderella e such a cute polish! The base is a baby blue with pink shimmer, i loved it! It took three coats to achieve full opacity but that didn't bothered me lol. This polish reminds of the cinderella dress that i used to watch when i was a kid :) But, endid three coats do need help to dry and it was provided by Essence Ultra Gloss Nail Shine Top Coat. I got my own Cinderella thanks to sweet Alyssa :)

O verniz Sinfull Colors Cinderella tem uma base azul bebé fofinho que precisa de três camadas para total cobertura da unha; eu não me importei nada lol :p E o shimmer?! Perco-me! Tem ali um shimmer rosinha claro que me deixou babada lol e o verniz recorda-me o vestido da Cinderella de quando eu era criança :) Mas 3 camadas necessitavam de uma ajuda extra para secar, cuja foi fornecida pelo top coat Ultra Gloss Nail Shine da Essence (2,49€ nas lojas Wells). Este verniz foi-me enviado pela querida Alyssa, fruto da nossa troquinha :) Mas actualmente a marca Sinful Colors existe em Portugal nas perfumarias Douglas (são tantas que tenho de confirmar se esta é a correcta) por cerca de 5,99€.

Shadow / Sombra

Sorry about all these pictures, i just think he's so beautiful! I decided to stamp it using my new Essence stampy polish in white (since the other got dried during the winter!) and m79 from Born Pretty Store. You can see by pictures that the design isn't perfect... i guess this is because m79 is a cheaper version of real Konad M79. I have a few of Born Pretty Stope image plates and i have come across some mistakes in the designs, but i bought them to firstly try out stamping and i loved it and them :)

Desculpem tantas fotos, mas considero-o tão bonito! Decidi carimbar utilizando o meu novo verniz da Essence Stampy polish branco (já que o anterior secou durante o Inverno!) e com a plaquinha m79 da loja Born Pretty Store. Como podem ver pelas fotos, o desenho não ficou perfeito... penso que isto deve-se ao facto desta plaquinha ser uma versão barata da plaquinha Konad M79. Eu possuo algumas plaquinhas da loja Born Pretty Store e já me deparei com alguns erros nas imagens, no entanto comprei-as quando iniciei-me nos carimbos e gostei imenso da técnica e das plaquinhas :)

Monkey See, Monkey Do - Glitter Sandwich

Hola chicas! =D

I've seen a lot of glitter sandwiches in these last months, but until recently - as i didn't like glitters very much - i never paid very attention to them. But now that i'm in love with them, i just spotted a beautiful mani this week that i just had to imitate! *.* I'm talking about Spektor's Nails with this manicure. Check out her blog, it's a new one but she does very beautiful manicures :)

Tenho visto bastantes manicures de sandwich de glitters nos últimos meses, mas até recentemente - como não gostava muito de glitters - nunca prestei muita atenção. Mas agora que estou apaixonada por estes, deparei-me com uma manicure esta semana que tive logo que imitar! *.* Refiro-me a esta manicure do blog Spektor's Nails. Dêm uma olhada no blog dela, é recente, mas ela faz manicures muito bonitas :)

I loved this baby blue glitter sandwich! I used Risqué I love Dogs Maltês as a base (2 coats), Models Own Ibiza Mix and Sinful Colors Cinderella in top :) Maltês is a beautiful green/blue/mint (i can't define the color lol) with a beautiful shimmer in the same color.

Amei esta sandwich de glitter azul! Usei o Risqué I love Dogs Maltês como base (2 camadas), o Models Own Ibiza Mix e o Sinful Colors Cinderella no topo :) O verniz Maltês tem uma cor verde/azul/menta muito bonita (pois, não consigo definir a cor lol) e possui também um lindo shimmer no mesmo tom.

Ibiza Mix is a fantastic glitter with yellow, green and pink hexagonal glitters and small round glitters in the same color. It's very beautiful... but... it stinks like crazy!! It reminds me of gasoline! 

Ibiza Mix é um glitter fantástico com glitters hexagonais amarelos, verdes e rosa, e glitters redondos mais pequenos nas mesmas cores. É muito giro sem dúvida... mas... tem um cheiro hediondo! Lembra-me gasolina! 

Then i applied Cinderella by Sinful Colors... she's so gorgeous! I won't say anything because i intend to wear her again lol. Cinderella gave a beautifull touch to my sandwich with some pink shimmer :) I did a final coat of Poshé top coat and now i think this looks more like ice cream than anything else loooool xD

Depois apliquei o Cinderella da Sinful Colors... ela é tão bonita! Não vou dizer muito porque tenciono voltar a usá-la novamente lol. Mas o Cinderella deu um toque bonito à minha sandwich com um lindo shimmer cor de rosa :) Para terminar adicionei uma camada de top coat da Poshé e agora penso que esta manicure transformou-se num gelado gostoso! xD loooooooooool

Hope you liked it as much as i did :) and it's so easy to do ladies :) It's all about layering polish and in top of the glitter you add a sheer polish :) See you soon, kisses!! :D

Espero que tenham gostado tanto como eu :) e é tão fácil de fazer meninas :) É só adicionar camadas de vernizes e por cima do glitter adicionar um verniz com uma consistência mais translúcida :) Até já meninas, beijinhoss!! :D
