Sunday Stamping Challenge: Metallic Madness

Hey gorgeous :)

Today is the end of a prolongued holiday... i wished it was friday back again :p This week's theme is metallic madness (against my will) and i burned my brain looking for something to do. I realised that madness can be an intricate pattern or a crazy pattern... i went for the first idea lol using only metallic polishes :)

Acabou o fim de semana prolongado, oh não! Quem me dera que fosse novamente sexta lol :p O tema desta semana é "Loucura Metálica" (contra a minha vontade) e queimei o cérebro em busca de ideias. Apercebi-me que loucura pode representar um padrão intrincado ou um padrão maluco... fiquei-me pela primeira opção lol utilizando somente vernizes metálicos :)

I love my base, i didn't want to stamp it in the previous place lol. It was very quick to do because i only needed one coat of each polish and these metallics dried pretty fast without top coat. I painted all nails with Ulta3 Orchid except the ring finger, that was with Essie Nothing Else Metals. Ulta3 Orchid has a divine deep purple color filled with a lovely pink shimmer, great formula and almost no brush strokes... i'm in love :) Altough it dryes without shine i kept staring at my nails, imagine with top coat! eh eh

Adoro a base e não a queria carimbar, mas teve de ser lol. Esta manicure foi muito rápida de fazer porque ambos os vernizes metálicos só necessitaram de uma camada e secaram muito rápido sem top coat. Pintei todas as unhas com o verniz Ulta3 Orchid excepto o anelar, que foi com o verniz Essie Nothing Else Metals. O Ulta3 Orchid possui uma cor divinal e profunda púrpura preenchido com um shimmer rosa, formula maravilhosa e quase nenhuma marca de pincel... estou apaixonada :) Apesar de secar com pouco brilho eu dei por mim a olhar muitas vezes as minhas unhas, imaginem se tivesse top coat! eh eh

The "madness" pattern i choosed to stamp with is from MASH 45 plate. I stamped with Essie Nothing Else Metals and in the ring finger with Ulta3 Orchid... that blurred bahh lol i shall have to text it again to see if he can stamp better :p

O padrão "loucura" que escolhi pertence à plaquinha MASH 45. Carimbei com o verniz Essie Nothing Else Metals e no anelar com o Ulta3 Orchid... que ficou turvo bahh. Tenho de efectuar mais testes a ver se este verniz carimba melhor :p

Overall i loved this manicure very much, but it's a tough decision between the base or the stamp to me :p What to do you prefer? Hope to see you soon and kisses :)

No geral adorei esta manicure, mas não me consigo decidir se gosto mais da base ou do carimbo lol :p O que preferem chicas? Espero ver-vos em breve e beijinhos :)

Sunday Stamping Challenge - Leafy

Hey girls!! Welcome! :)

I always look forward to sundays so that i can do and see my AIS friends sunday stamping challenges xD This week the most voted theme was leafy. What? Yeah, Leafs lol lets face it, every bundle and big plates have one leafy  design at least in them :p

Eu estou sempre ansiosa para que chegue o Domingo para poder fazer e ver as manicures que as minhas amigas do grupo AIS fizeram para o tema semanal xD O tema escolhido desta semana foi "Folhas". O quê, folhas? Sim lol hão-de reparar que há folhas em todos os bundles e em quase todas as plaquinhas XL :p

My nude base color is Ulta3 Blossom Fever (an Australian Brand - thanks Nicole :D). I did three thin coats, the formula is nice but not very much pigmented. I confess this is the only almost creme nude color i have, and after painting i was like "Where's my nails? Bf are my nails painted or not?" Loool! And almost creme because there is a slight silver shimmer, almost unnoticeable :) Please ignore my midle finger bubbles... it's because of the heat and essence UGNS top coat didn't fix it :s

A cor base é o verniz Ulta3 Blossom Fever (uma marca australiana - obrigada Nicole :D). Eu apliquei três camadas desta cor muito discreta e soft, tão discreta que me questionei onde estavam as minhas unhas e ao namorado se as tinha pintadas! lool. A formula cremosa apesar de não muito pigmentada é boa, o pincel é decente e há um shimmer prata quase imperceptível na unha :) Por favor ignorem o meu dedo do meio... está assim com aquelas bolhas devido ao calor e o Essence UGNS não resolveu a situação :s

To stamp i decided to alternate between A England Dragon and Color Club Perfectly Molten in all fingers, except the ring finger where i used A England Dragon and Impala Quero Tudo; the fetus plant design if from MASH 44 :p Hence both two colors are so shiny the gradient isn't very noticeable :|. To finalize i applied one coat of Golden Rose quick drying top coat.

Para carimbar decidi alternar entre o verniz A England Dragon e Color Club Perfectly Molten em todas as unhas excepto no anelar, onde alternei com o A England Dragon e o Impala Quero Tudo; o desenho dos fetus (planta) pertence à plaquinha MASH 44. Um vez que as cores são muito brilhantes o gradiente no carimbo é quase imperceptível :| Para terminar apliquei uma camada do top coat Golden Rose quick dry.

It looks much better in person than in pictures because of all the shine, and thought i still think i should have choosed a different base color i am still pleased with the result :) Hope to see you tomorrow and have a great Sunday :) Kisses!

A manicure está melhor em pessoa do que em fotos devido ao brilho, e apesar de eu ainda pensar que devia ter escolhido outra cor base, estou bastante satisfeita com o resultado final :) Espero ver-vos amanhã e tenham um bom Domingo :) Beijinhos!

Day 29: 31 Days Nails Challenge - Inspired by the Supernatural

Hello ladies and gents :)I

Today i could do some nails inspired by the Supernatural tv show just to make fun of this lol... I was so tempted but ah well, challenge is challenge ah ah. This was another challenge theme to which i had no idea of what to do and all of a sudden i was staring at my nail plates and an idea was formed! lol

Hoje eu podia ter feito uma manicure inspirada na série Sobrenatural só para brincar com o desafio lol... estava muito tentada... mas desafio é desafio ah ah. Este foi outro tema do desafio que não tinha ideia do que fazer lol e quando estava a contemplar as minhas plaquinhas, formou-se uma ideia de súbito! lol

The overall idea is a haunted castle by ghosts :p The base polish is Ulta3 Midnight (how fitting) followed by a coat of Risqué Star. I couldn't for the love of my life stamp the house from plate BM 224 in white... so i stamped in grey with China Glaze Awaken and that's why it looks so etherial lol like.. floating in space eh eh. The bats are also stamped with this China Glaze polish and belong to plate BM 213. The cute ghosts are from plate BM 223 and stamped with Essence Stampy polish in white. I did the moon using Kiko nº 404 brush and white polish. Just before i took pictures i smashed my mid finger in the table :s

A ideia geral é um castelo assombrado por fantasmas :p O verniz base é o Ulta3 Midnight (que apropriado) seguido de uma camada do Risqué Star. Eu não consegui de forma alguma carimbar a casa da plaquinha BM 224 em branco... por isso carimbei com o cinza China Glaze Awaken e por isso o castelo tem um ar... etéreo lol como se estivesse a flutuar na noite lool. Com o mesmo verniz carimbei os morcegos da plaquinha BM 213. Os fantasmas fofinhos são da plaquinha BM 223 e foram carimbados com o verniz Essence Stampy Polish branco. Adoro a lua e fi-la com um verniz branco e o pincel 404 da Kiko. Mas, mesmo antes de tirar fotos, esbarrei com o dedo do meio na mesa :s

It turned out quite funny lool i like it!! :D And this was day 29... almost ending... i confess i'm a bit tired now lol. Tomorrow i have a manicure inspired by a tutorial for you :) Kisses and see you then

Day 25: Inspired by Fashion

Hola chicas!! :)

For today's theme of the challenge i was so out of inspiration! lol Well, i managed to do something... but a easy something :p My inspiration is a dress from Valentino for Fall/Winter 2012 collection :)

Para o tema de hoje do desafio a minha imaginação fugiu-me lol Bom, consegui fazer algo... mas um algo bem simples :p A minha inspiração para o tema "moda" foi num vestido Valentino para a colecção Outino/Inverno 2012 :)

I was so out of inspiration that i did this wrong lol and only in the end i corrected myself. My base polish is Ulta3 Blossom Fever that has a very nice nude skin color and the black polish is W7 Black. I did the pattern using Kiko 404 brush (my mistake because the dots weren't perfect) and in the end i used a dotting tool to correct myself lol. It looks very simple and elegant at the same time, i like ah ah :)

Tive tanta falta de imaginação que fiz este padrão da forma errada e só no fim corrigi-me lol. O meu verniz base é o Ulta3 Blossom Fever que tem um tom nude semelhante à pele e o verniz preto é o W7 Black. Fiz o padrão com o pincel 404 da Kiko (o meu erro uma vez que as bolinhas não ficaram perfeitas) e no fim corrigi-me e utilizei um boleador. A manicure ficou muito simples mas também elegante, eu gostei :)

Day 19: 31 Day Nail Challenge - Galaxies

Hello sweties! :)

And for the 19th day of the challenge we have galaxies! This was something i've meant to do a long time ago, but somehow i believed it was too hard to and kept pushing it into the back of my mind... i couldn't be more mistaken! It's so easy!

E para o décimo nono dia temos galáxias! Isto é algo que eu queria fazer há imenso tempo, mas de alguma forma acreditei que era muito complicado e continuei a empurrar para o fundo da minha mente... Não podia estar mais enganada! É muiiito fácil!

I got inspiration in conjuction of three galaxies from the picture above. I started with Ulta3 Midnigh that has a dark blue, almost black color that i think represents very well the space. After i did the constelation using a sponge and Puple Nº32, Risqué Azulcrination and Ulta3 Orchid. Afterwards i used 3 glitters in different nails: Sinful Colors Pearl Harbor, Risqué Star and Kiko Nº230. To end i used a dotting tool to do dots that represents stars. I LOVED it!!! Next time i only have to do smaller dots :)

Fiquei inspirada na conjunção de três galáxias da imagem acima. Comecei por aplicar o Ulta3 Midnigh que tem um tom azul escuro quase preto, perfeito para a cor do espaço. Depois com uma esponja esponjei o branco da Purple Nº32, o Risqué Azulcrination e o Ulta3 Orchid para fazer as constelações. De seguida utilizei 3 glitters em diferentes unhas: o Sinful Colours Pearl Harbor, o Risqué Star e o Kiko Nº230. Para terminar utilizei o boleador para fazer umas bolinhas no sentido de representar as estrelas. AMEI!!! Para a próxima só tenho de fazer bolinhas menores :)

Sunday Stamping Chalenge - Dots & Circles

Hello people and happy Summer sunday to you too :D!

You know that sometimes there's a day where everything nail related just... completely fails! Well, that was my case yesterday :| I did two manicures inspired by this theme "dots & circles" and both went wrong lol. I will present you de second try and maybe in the future the first one :p

Sabem que por vezes há um dia em que tudo o que é relacionado com unhas... falha completamente! Bom, ontem foi o meu dia :| Fiz duas manicures inspiradas no tema de hoje "Círculos e pontos" e ambas foram uma asneira lol. Vou-vos mostrar a segunda e quem sabe no futuro a primeira :p

I did the gradient base with Kiko Nº279 and then i sponged it with Ulta3 Purple Pumps. Purple Pumps is a neon violet color that when in contact with the yellow Kiko, who wasn't totaly dry, turned orange in the gradient ends bahhh!

Fiz o gradiente com o Kiko Nº 279 como base e depois esponjei com o Purple Pumps da marca Ulta 3 (australiana). O Purple Pumps é um violeta neon muito giro, mas que em contacto com o amarelo da Kiko, que ainda não estava completamente seco, ficou laranja nas extremidades do esponjado bahhh!

As it was my second try i gave up and tryed to save it with stamping lol I used the image from BM206 and Myio black polish to stamp with. I'm not sure if i like the final result.... These days do really happen :p

Como esta foi a minha segunda tentativa, desisti e decidi salvá-la com o carimbo lol. Usei a imagem da plaquinha BM206 e verniz preto da Myio para carimbar. Penso que não gosto do resultado final... Mas estes dias realmente acontecem :p
