Review: IBI Nails Forbidden Island & Watermarble Nail Art

Today I want to present you to a new brand in Portugal: IBI nails represented by Dez Studio in Portugal. I personally met some of their colors in Expocosmetics and got this one to review :) IBI nails was created in 2006 and has a very large portfolio of colors, including regular, acrylic and gel polishes. Two months ago I was wearing IBI Nails Forbidden Island when I broke my nails just before taking pictures lol, this is why it took me so long to show you the polish after mentioning it in my expocosmetics post.

Hoje pretendo apresentar-vos a uma marca recentente em Portugal: a IBI Nails, representada pela Dez Studio. Conheci pessoalmente algumas das cores desta marca no stand da Dez na Expocosmética e recebi este para rever :) A marca IBI Nails foi criada em 2006 e possui um vasto portfólio de vernizes, incluindo não só vernizes regulares como também gel e acrílico. Foi há dois meses que parti as unhas, mesmo antes de tirar fotos ao verniz Forbidden Island; por isso demorei algum tempo a mostrar-vos esta beldade após mencioná-lo no post da expo. 

This brand is characterized by the ergonomic sexy shape (adaptable to our hand and really unique in my opinion), rubber lid (particularly love this characteristic as it helps in the polish application) and it's 4 Free. IBI's brush is long and has smooth bristles. Specifically about IBI Nails Forbidden Island, it belongs to the Tropical Color Collection and is a neon jelly pink polish with blue shimmer. I have nothing similar in my collection! :D The blue shimmer is very concentrate and perfectly noticeable in nails. Application was of a jelly polish, requiring three easy coats to full nail coverage. I don't like to see my white line, but if you don't mind 2 coats are enough then :) I said blue shimmer, but if you look closely I think there's small blue flakes instead of glitter, which adds more mystery to this gorgeous polish!

Esta marca é caracterizada pela forma ergonómica e sexy do frasco (adapta-se    à nossa mão e a forma é única na minha opinião), pela tampa de borracha (que gosto particularmente uma vez que facilita a aplicação do verniz) e é 4 Free (livre de cânfora, tolueno, formaldeído e fetalatos). O pincel da IBI é longo e possui cerdas macias. Especificamente falando do verniz IBI Forbidden Island, este pertence à colecção Tropical Color Collection e possui um acabamento neon jelly com shimmer azul. Não possuo nada similar na minha colecção! :D A aplicação é a de um verniz jelly, necesistando de três camadas para cobri as unhas. Mas se ao contrário de mim não se importam de ver a linha branca da unha, duas camadas são suficientes :) Eu escrevi shimmer azul, mas na verdade olhando com maior cuidado observei flocos azul muito fininhos, o que adiciona ainda mais glamour e mistério a este verniz! 

As IBI Nails Forbidden Island shows an interesting pigmentation, I decided to take my chances once more in water marble nail art. And guess what?! It worked!! :D I'm slowly getting my hand on this technique! :D I used three polishes for this flower marble, the other two being OPI Mod About The secret about water marble is to have good pigmented polishes.

Como este verniz Forbidden Island mostra uma pigmentação interessante, decidi arriscar-me novamente na nail art Water Marble. E adivinhem?!?! Funcionou!! :D Está a ser devagar, mas tenho cada vez mais sucesso com esta técnica :) Utilizei três vernizes para esta water marble de flor, nomeadamente o OPI Mod About You, Elixir Make Up 64 e claro, o IBI Nails Forbidden Island.

I wasn't a big neon finish lover, but things changed this year hehe. I'm in Love! I loved Forbidden Island alone and in the water marble, I like its complexity. That blue flake shimmer is something special and very pretty! I got a few compliments out in the sun as my nails were very flashy xD Its a hot color and perfect for this hot weather in my opinion :) Keep in touch with IBI Nails and Dez studio facebook pages to always be updated (links below). Quem me conhece há muito tempo sabe que eu não sa ou muito apreciadora de vernizes neon, mas recentemente estes gostos mudaram hehe. Adorei e fiquei apaixonada pelo misterios IBI Nails Forbidden Island! O shimmer em flocos azul é realmente algo de muito especial. Recebi vários elogios e olhares, especialmente ao sol porque as minhas estavam mesmo chamativas :p È uma cor perfeita para este tempo quente! Review: Mollon Pro Nº125 Outremer Vert

So, a couple of weeks ago I told you I had three of the new Mollon Pro shades to show you and all of a sudden I vanish with the third one?? That's so wrong, shame on me! I do have a good excuse eheh. When I used Mollon Pro Nº 125 Outremer Vert almost a month ago I didn't take my camera with me and under the sun I saw this gorgeous shimmer that escaped me in my indoor pictures. So here we go :)

Então há várias semanas atrás eu disse que tinha três dos novos vernizes da Mollon para vos mostrar e do nada desapareço com a terceira?? Não pode ser, está errado Cristina! lol. Felizmente tenho um bom motivo :p Quando usei o Mollon Pro Nº 125 Outremer Vert há quase um mês, esqueci-me da minha câmera em casa (para variar) e descobri um shimmer lindíssimo que era quase invisível nas minhas fotos dentro de casa. Aqui vamos nós :)

And what is that that you spot on my ring finger?? Yes, it's another attempt at water marble technique. This isn't so bad (as compared to my previous attempts...), so it's ok to show it LOL :p See what I told you about the shimmer? It's in silver and pretty :) A month ago was cold and rainy (well, it still is) but I clearly remembered thinking I want to use this Mollon polish in my feet in Summer at the beach *-* It reminds me of hot an sunny days :)

E o que é aquilo que vislumbram no meu anelar?? Exactamente, é mais uma tentativa de water marble. Esta não ficou muito má (considerando as tentativas anteriores...) portanto não me sinto de todo envergonhada em partilhar lol :p Repararam no shimmer prata? É lindo! Há um mês atrás o dia estava frio e chuvoso (não que tenha mudado muito entretanto) e lembro -me perfeitamente de pensar que quero usar este verniz nos pés e na praia *-* recorda-me o mar e dias solarengos :)

Every time I used a Mollon Pro polish I get these compliments about my nails looking like gel polish due to the huge shine and great formula. Honestly, I never paid too much attention on that, but this time this compliment came from Luisa, a person I consider to understand nail polish very well. So I had to share this with all :) You already know I like their brush and drying time, so I would be repeating myself this time :p

Todas as vezes que usei um verniz Mollon Pro recebi elogios dizendo que as minhas unhas pareciam de gel ou gelinho, devido ao brilho e formula destes vernizes. Sinceramente, nunca prestei muita atenção, mas desta vez o elogio veio da Luísa, uma pessoa que considero perceber muito de vernizes; portanto não podia deixar de partilhar convosco :) Também já sabem que gosto do pincel e tempo de secagem, não me quero voltar a repetir lol :p

I want to get better at water marble, but baby steps people lol. I think this nail art technique hates me :p I used Mollon Pro Nº 125, Kiko 338 and China Glaze Snow for the water marble. This is the last color I have for you and I hope you liked them all :) Mollon will be releasing a new collection soon to the Mollon Pro line and they're glitters! Quero melhorar nesta técnica de water marble, mas sinceramente acho que ela não gosta de mim lol. Portanto, passos pequeninos. No anelar usei o Mollon Pro Nº 125, o Kiko 338 e o China Glaze Snow. Este foi o último dos vernizes Mollon Pro que tinha para vos mostrar e espero que tenham gostado, bem como das outras cores :) A Mollon vai adicionar à linha de vernizes Mollon Pro uma colecção de glitters! Day 20: 31 Day Nail Challenge - Water Marble

Hello Sweties! :)

You know those times when you don't try something for a long time because you know it's going to be a big fail (nail related of course)?? That's what happened to me today! lol My Water Marble is such a disaster that i'm even a bit ashamed of posting it lol but challenge is challenge and i'm here do challenge myself!

Sabem quando não experimentam algo por um longo tempo porque sabem à priori que vão fazer uma grande asneira (relacionada com unhas claro)?? Foi exactamente o que aconteceu comigo hoje! lol A minha manicure Water Marble (desconheço a tradução) ficou um desastre e até estou um pouco envergonhada de a publicar lol mas desafio é desafio e eu estou aqui para me desafiar!

Ah well... i think i will redo them someday... lol i could have tryed to do a new one for this post but doing water marble takes my patience away lool all the dripping polish and the after cleaning... ugh... i'll stick to stamping! LOL I know what went wrong (or so i think) and it's because one of the polishes isn't opaque in one layer (i'm missing the word...) - Barry M Mint Green. The other two colors are Kiko Nº339 and Sally Hanse Fuchsia Power. Only the thumb has a nice design lol and i was trying to achieve the same to all nails...

Bom... um dia hei-de refazê-las... lol. Eu podia ter tentado fazer outra manicure para este post mas o water marble esgotou a minha paciência com todo o pingar do verniz para a água e a limpeza final... ugh... Eu vou é ficar pelos carimbos! LOL Eu sei o que correu mal (ou penso eu de que) e foi o facto de um dos vernizes não ser opaco numa camada (falta-me o termo correcto) - Barry M Mint Green. Os outros dois vernizes utilizados foram o Kiko Nº338 e o Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power. Só a unha do polegar ficou com o desenho bonitinho lol e era o que que estava a tentar alcançar para todas as unhas...

I'm looking forward to see the water marbles my friends did! :D Tomorrow starts the inspirations themes... my feared week! lol I have managed to have some ideas yesterday... but i'm pretty much clueless to what i will do the next 10 days lol (and iupi! I'm alive after 20 days! lool). Kisses and see you tomorrow! :D

Estou curiosa de ver as unhas Water Marbled que as minhas amigas fizeram! :D Amanhã começam os temas de inspiração... a minha semana temida! lol Ontem consegui ter algumas ideias mas de resto não tenho noção do que vou fazer nos próximos 10 dias lol (e iupi! Estou viva após 20 dias! lool). Beijinhos e até manhã! :D
