Mollon Pro 173 Léonie

The star of today's post is my favorite of the Mollon Pro 2013 Fall/Winter collection! I was lucky enough to review it because you know I'm crazy over blues, particularly when they are unique and stunning! So this is a long post given the many pictures of how I used Mollon Pro 173 Léonie: alone, shining nail art and matte nail art :p

A estrela deste post é o meu verniz favorito da colecção Mollon Pro Outono/Inverno de 2013. Tive a sorte de o receber para rever e vocês sabem como eu adoro vernizes azuis, sobretudo quando são únicos e com um toque de autenticidade! Pois bem, há muitas fotos neste post hehehe, quer do verniz sozinho ou em nail art brilhante e fosca :p

Seriously, what an amazing blue! Unfortunately I wasn't able to fully capture it on camera because the purple shimmer isn't quite visible on nails, although you can see it in the bottle. Mollon Pro 173 Léonie is a metallic blue with an intense purple/green duochrome shimmer. I find such polishes to be better photographed on cloudy days; somehow that brings up the duochrome effect better. Formula is awesome, very easy to apply and covers in two coats. I don't think I need to pronounce myself about the shine and drying time of Mollon Pro polishes :)

Que verniz azul deslumbrante! Infelizmente não consegui captá-lo totalmente nas fotos, mas imaginem-no ainda mais bonito! O shimmer roxo nas unhas é difícil de captar, mas é visível no frasco. Este verniz Mollon Pro 173 Léonie é azul metálico com shimmer duochrome verde/roxo. Na minha opinião, este tipo de vernizes são excelentes de usar em dias nublados porque o duochrome fica mais evidente e lindo nas unhas. A sua formula é excelente, tal como é fácil de aplicar e cobre as unhas em duas camadas. Penso que não é necessário pronunciar-me sobre o tempo de secagem e brilho dos vernizes Mollon Pro... :)

I decided to combine it with this image of snowflakes inside stars from MoYou Christmas 01 plate. I'm in love with this design! In fact, this manicure was made before I broke my nails in November and today I have it my nails once more :D It was stamped with Essie Blue Rhapsody. Here is the shiny version...

Decidi combinar este verniz da Mollon com um desenho de flocos de neve dentro de estrelas da placa MoYou Christmas 01. Adoro e estou apaixonada por este desenho! Tanto que fiz usei esta manicure em Novembro antes das unhas partirem, e hoje estou novamente com ele! hehehe O verniz que usei para carimbar foi o azul Essie Blue Rhapsody :) Eis a versão brilhante...

It really is my favorite of the collection and yes, I know I haven't seen them all personally lol. Sunday Stamping Challenge: Animalistic

Hello there!! :)

Yes, I'm fully aware today is Tuesday lol. However, I didn't have time to post this challenge the days before so here we go!! :p Last week's AIS challenge theme was "Animalistic", as in nails somehow related to animals. So, I took this chance to do something I've been wanting to do since I bought the Winstonia first generation set a year ago! :D 

É verdade, eu sei que hoje é Terça lol. Contudo, não tive tempo de postar o desafio de Domingo nos últimos dois dias por isso aqui vamos nós! :p O tema da semana passada foi "Animalístico", i.e., algo relacionado com animais. Eu aproveitei a oportunidade para fazer algo que desejava fazer desde que comprei o Set first generation da Winstonia há quase um ano! :D

I love, love these cute Panda's! *_* And also love the Bamboo trees :)) All designs except the Bamboo tree in the middle nails belong to the Winstonia plates set and its like they are meant to be. The Panda's are in Winstonia  W115 plate and the Bamboo tree in the index and pinky in W110 plate. The middle Bamboo tree belongs to MoYou Suki 01 plate. I double stamped the tree because I was unsure with which green polish to use: either La Femme Verde Perolado or Mash Brunswick Green. So, why not both? lol

Adoro, adoro estes Pandas fofos! *_* E é claro que também adoro as àrvores de Bamboo :) Todos os desenhos exceptos as árvores das unhas do meio pertencem ao set first generation da Winstonia; os Pandas encontram-se na placa W115 e árvore Bamboo do indicador e mindinho na plaquinha W110. Já a árvore do dedo do meio pertence à placa MoYou Suki 01. Estava super incerta de que verniz verde usar para carimbar; tanto podia ser o Mash Brunswick Green como o La Femme Verde Perolado... Bom, acabaram por ser os dois e carimbei duplamente as árvores lol :)

And these are how my nails looked last Saturday. In the meantime they're bigger :p I bet you were curious on how they looked when I broke them because I sure am always curious on such occasions hahah! OPI I Snow You Love Me & China Glaze All Wrapped Up

Good morning babes! :)

Today I want to show you the last two polishes I picked from Beyond Polish web store :) Why OPI I Snow You Love Me* and China Glaze All Wrapped Up*? Because in my opinion they are the most gorgeous polishes from each Christmas collection brand! :)

Hoje quero mostrar-vos os últimos dois vernizes que escolhi da loja online Beyond Polish :) Porquê o OPI I Snow You Love Me* e o China Glaze All Wrapped Up*? Porque, na minha opinião, são os vernizes mais bonitos das respectivas colecções de Natal! :)

OPI I Snow You Love Me is unique and gorgeous! There isn't anything like this round holographic glitter available elsewhere. It belongs to the OPI Holiday 2013 Mariah Carey Holiday collection from which I also love a champagne sand texture polish. OPI I Snow You Love Me polish has a slightly opaque base but you can use it over any base polish of your preference :) I think it looks best over blue and couldn't help it :p This gorgeous blue is OPI... Eurso Euro by the way. You can also apply OPI I Snow You Love Me as a normal glitter polish, however, I chose to play with it and make a tree with the round glitter pieces in my ring nail (LOVE it!) and apply a single glitter near cuticles in all other nails :)

O verniz OPI I Snow You Love Me é espectacular! Não há nada igual pelo Mundo fora. Pertence à colecção OPI Holiday 2013 Mariah Carey Holiday feita em parceria com a Mariah Carey (pois claro!) :) É unicamente composto por um glitter holográfico redondo numa base algo opaca. A base contudo não impede que o possam utilizar sobre qualquer verniz :D Eu acho que fica melhor sobre azul e não resisti a tal lol. A propósito, o verniz azul espectacular é o OPI... Eurso Euro. O glitter pode ser aplicado normalmente, contudo, eu optei por brincar e fazer uma árvore de Natal no anelar (ADOREI!) e colocar um glitter junto das cutículas nas restantes unhas :) É uma simples ideia para o nosso Natal! :)

China Glaze All Wrapped Up is another glitter and I didn't have the heart to do a nail art with it :p I love it! It is a dense blurple glitter that is opaque in three coats from the China Glaze Holiday 2013 Happy Holiglaze collection. By blurple I mean it sometimes looks blue and others purple. I have nothing like it in my collection as well :)

O verniz China Glaze All Wrapped Up é outro glitter, mas com este não tive coragem de fazer uma nail art e usei-o assim sozinho :) Adoro! É um glitter forte blurple que fica perfeito com três camadas e pertence à colecção China Glaze Holiday 2013 Happy Holiglaze. Por burple quero dizer que às vezes o verniz parece azul, mas outras roxo :p Também não tinha nada assim na minha colecção xD

Both polishes are available in Beyond Polish online store as well as the other polishes of each collection. Also, this store has many brands which aren't available (or of difficult access) in Europe for a very reasonable price like Essie, Jessica, Zoya, Lechat, CND, Seche and loads of accessories and Gel Polish brands (OPI, Lechat, Ibd, Harmony, Entity, etc). Kinetics KP 257 City Queen & Christmas Nail Art

Hello there!! :)

I'm alive!! hahaha! Well, many things happened the last two weeks, but the reason why I was away was that I presented my thesis! Woohoo! :D I am now "a Biotechnology Master" ;) So, the stress and lack of time led me to stay out of here... I think you can perfectly understand :) 

Estou viva!! heheh :p Bom, várias coisas aconteceram nas últimas duas semanas, mas o principal motivo porque estive ausente foi que defendi a minha tese! Woohoo! :D Sou agora "Mestre em Biotecnologia" :) Então, digamos que o stress e falta de tempo mantiveram-me longe daqui... penso que vocês entendem perfeitamente :)

And so this is my first Christmas manicure this year! Well, it was done more than two weeks ago hahaha :) It features the lovely Kinetics KP 257 City Queen from the Urban Legend collection. I fell in love with this shade personally and had the luck to receive it from the brand to review :) It has a cold red shade but somehow it still looks warm on nails (can't explain better lol!). Two easy coats, amazing shine and great formula! Just perfect!

Eis a minha primeira manicure de Natal de 2013! Bom, foi feita há mais de duas semanas heheh :) A estrela desta manicure é o verniz Kinetics KP 257 City Queen da colecção Urban Legend. Apaixonei-me pela cor pessoalmente e foi sortuda ao ponto de recebê-lo para rever da marca :) Tem um tom vermelho algo frio, mas fica "quente" nas unhas (não sei explicar melhor lol!). Foram duas camadas perfeitas, com brilho fantástico e formula estupenda! Que mais posso pedir? :p

I love this Christmas shirt nail art! *_* Actually, I love all the designs from MoYou London Christmas Collection 04 plate *_* Sadly some designs are too big for me, but I'm trying a different approach lol! The stamping polish was La Femme Branco. The dots were made using a dotting tool and Kinetics KP 001 Begginings white nail polish.

Adoro esta nail art de camisola de Natal! *__* Aliás, amo toda a plaquinha MoYou London Christmas Collection 04 porque tem desenhos tão fofos *_* Alguns desenhos são grandes de mais para mim, mas estou a ver como os posso usar :p O verniz que usei para carimbar foi o La Femme Branco. As bolinhas foram feitas com o verniz Kinetics KP 0001 Beginnings e boleador (podem usar um palito/gancho ao invés).
