Passe Nati Figa & Picture Polish Chillax & Fall Transition Dotticure

Hello loves :)

For some it is already Spring, for other it's Fall. 'm in the last group. I have a couple more Summery manicures to show you in the near future, but for now I have a dotticure that is a transition from Summer to Fall :)

Para uns é Primavera... para outros é Outono. Eu incluo-me no último grupo :p Apesar de ainda ter algumas manicures de "Verão" para vos mostrar em breve, hoje vamos celebrar a chegada do Outono (S. Pedro não cooperou) com uma manicure que é uma transição de Verão para Outono :)

Quite simple isn't it? And super easy to do :) I picked the bright green piCture pOlish Chillax to represent Summer and then two nude shades to represent Fall. The base one is Golden Rose Rich Color 113 and the antique rose is Passe Nati Figa - a lovely gift from Camila ^^ Figa has a discreet pink shimmer that isn't very noticeable in nails. For this dotticure nail art I simply picked two different sized dotting tools and placed random dots in my nails. Like I said, easy peasy :p

Super simples, não é? E também fácil de fazer para qualquer pessoa :) Escolhi o verde alegre piCture pOlish Chillax para representar o Verão e tons nudes, algo mais escuros, para representar o Outono. O nude base é o Golden Rose Rich Color 113 e o nude/rosa antigo é o Passe Nati, que me foi oferecido pela querida Camila ^^ O verniz Figa tem um shimmer rosa discreto que não se destaca muito nas unhas. Seleccionei dois boleadores com tamanhos diferentes (podem usar um pin de cabelo e um palito por ex.) e fiz bolinhas aleatórias nas unhas com os vernizes. Como disse, super fácil e fica tão bonito :D

Sometimes, I have way too much going on in my mind. This is probably one of the cases that best shows it hahaha. I wanted to do the stamping decals of the middle of the nails. Then, I wanted to combine them with the rest of my hand... and made a gradient... then painted a coat of an holographic glitter... and finally I thought it wasn't enough and placed several studs! Too much?? You tell me!

Por vezes, tenho demasiadas ideias a flutuar no meu cérebro. E a manicure que vos mostro hoje é um bom exemplo de tal. Isto começou por eu querer fazer um adesivo de carimbo. Depois, para combinar com as restantes unhas... fiz um gradiente... e adicionei uma camada de glitter holográfico... por último, como se não fosse suficiente, adicionei vários studs! Demasiado? Digam-me vocês!

I think it is a bit too much because while wearing this, I focused either on the decals or the gradient with studs. For the stamping decals, I used the image design from DRK-D2 plate with Passe Nati Quero Muito Ser Sexy and Ana Hickmann Íris. Well... I wasn't carefull enough while applying the decals and hence I stretched it too much in my ring nail :s I had no patiente to them all over again :p As for the gradient, I used both polishes and toped it with Risqué Star. Finally the studs come from a BPS Store nail wheel and another one I purchased at Verniz de Luxo store.

Na minha opinião acabou por ser muita informação visual porque quando olhei para as unhas, foquei-me só numa nail art ou na outra. Não vi como uma união de cores e técnicas como queria que fosse :s Mas passando aos detalhes, fiz um adesivo de carimbo com os vernizes Passe Nati Quero Muito Ser Sexy, Hanna Hickmann Íris e com o desenho da placa DRK-D2. Não tive muito cuidado a colocar o adesivo nas unhas e acabei por esticar o do anelar... enfim, não repeti porque estes meninos deram trabalho. No gradiente usei os mesmos vernizes e finalizei com uma camada do verniz Risqué Star. Por último, coloquei vários studs de uma rodinha da born Pretty Store e outra da Verniz de Luxo.

Sunday Stamping Challenge: In the mood for....

... for roses!

Hello there! :)

Yes, today's AIS challenge theme is "In the mood for..." and I'm in the mood for roses! :) Actually, I've been in the mood for these particular roses since Raquel's red roses manicure lol. I kind of forgot I had this stamp and Raquel reminded me of it ;)

É verdade, hoje o tema do desafio do grupo AIS é "Com vontade de..." e estou com vontade de rosas! :) Na verdade, fiquei com esta vontade desde que a Raquel publicou esta manicure com rosas vermelhas. Tinha-me esquecido deste carimbo e a Raquel recordou-mo ;)

I also took the chance to use the gorgeous Passe Nati Chuva de Rosas (which translates to rain of roses and the name couldn't be more appropriate) that Lari sent me in our swap. This is a strong pink and silver holographic glitter. One coat covers almost all nail. I love these types of glitters *-* I did the cuticle gradient using the polish brush only. Passe Nati Chuva de Rosas is a thirsty glitter, so I needed two coats of Out The Door top coat to smooth it out. The roses stamping image belongs to BM-323 plate and I had small issues with it. It isn't well carved so the middle nail petals look more apart than the ring nail. The pink stamping polish was Essie Nothing Else Metals :)

Aproveitei também para usar este lindo Passe Nati Chuva de Rosas (que nome tão apropriado) que consegui numa troca com a Lari :) É um glitter forte nos tons rosa e prata holográficos. Uma camada cobre quase completamente as unhas. Amo este tipo de glitters *_* Em vez de usá-lo simples, fiz um gradiente junto das cutículas sobre preto e com o pincel do verniz. Uma vez que o verniz Passe Nati Chuva de Rosas é um glitter sedento, apliquei duas camadas do top coat Inm Out The Door para suavizar a textura. O desenho das rosas vem da plaquinha BM-323. Tive alguns problemas a transferir a imagem porque não está bem gravada. Nota-se na distância entre as pétalas no dedo do meio, versus o dedo anelar. O verniz rosa que usei para carimbar foi o Essie Nothing Else Metals :)

I loved the manicure and the bling bling as well :) But, I felt like my nails were too big for this twin nails manicure. I filled them the day after lol. What do you think? Do you own this Brazilian gorgeous polish? Kisses***

Sunday Stamping Challenge: Birthstone color

Hello there :)

Today's AIS challenge theme is our Birthstone color. I confess this theme got me confused because I see so many birthstones in many calenders.. Anyway, I was born in September, so according to this birthstone picture my stone is sapphire. There's actually two September stones there, but since both are two gorgeous blue shades, i'm sticking to sapphire :) Now I wonder, is this the reason why I love blue so much? hehe

O tema do desafio de hoje do grupo AIS é a "cor da pedra do mês do nosso nascimento". Confesso que este tema deixou-me confusa porque encontrei várias pedras consoante o calendário que via... De qualquer forma, eu nasci em Stemebro e de acordo com esta imagem, a minha pedra é a safira. Aliás, Setembro tem duas pedras azuis lol; escolhi a safira, mas será este um indicativo do meu amor pela cor azul?? lool

To find a matching shade was hard... I was indecisive between three polishes and each had valuable shade arguments. In the end I chose Passe Nati Olho Turco because it has a rich blue/purple shimmer that I think resembles the sapphire stone reflexes :) I picked this geometric image from Gals GA 16 plate in an effort to imitate the sapphire angles. Stamping was achieved with Kiko Mirror 624 and after top coat (Seche Vite) Passe Nati Olho Turco ate bits of the blue metallic color. At first I was upset by this, but then I realized it adds more to the sapphire stone blue reflexes! :D

Encontrar uma cor apropriada não foi tarefa fácil... Estava indecisa entre três vernizes, cada um com argumentos válidos para ser o escolhido. Por fim optei pelo verniz Passe Nati Olho Turco porque ele possui um shimmer azul/roxo que se parecem com os reflexos da pedra safira :) Escolhi o carimbo geométrico da placa Gals GA16 também numa tentativa de me aproximar dos ângulos da pedra safira. O desenho foi carimbado com o verniz Kiko Mirror 624 e após aplicar o top coat (Seche Vite) verifiquei que o Olho Turco comeu a cor azul metálica do carimbo. Inicialmente fiquei aborrecida, mas depois apercebi-me que contribui para a ideia e reflexos da pedra safira! :D

Review: Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt

Today I want to introduce you to Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt polish from Mollon. I've been testing this top coat for over a month and a half in many types of manicures and I'm quite pleased with it :) It has 15mL and hence plenty to use in all kinds of manicures :p

Hoje quero-vos introduzir ao verniz Mollon Pro Top Coat da marca Mollon. Tenho estado a testar este verniz há um mês e meio sobre diversos vernizes base e posso dizer que estou bastante satisfeita com ele :) Possui 15mL e como tal muuito verniz para brincar e criar diferentes looks :p

I applied a single coat of Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt polish in all the following manicures and in 15s it removes the previous nail polish shine, making it tottally matte. Application is perfect due to the round and with soft bristles brush, typical of the brand. I'm very pleased with the drying time, which is quick (15 min later I'm touching my nails and doing home tasks while the ornanmanicure remains perfect). Matt top coats can be very versatille because applied over different polishes it creates different looks and this is what I'm going to show you next.

Apliquei uma única camada do verniz Mollon Pro em todas as mancures que vos mostro neste post e em 15s ele elimina o brilho do verniz anterior, resultando num acabamento fosco/matte. A aplicação é perfeita com o pincel redondo de cerdas mcias, característico da marca. Estou bastante satisfeita com o tempo de secagem que é rápido (15 min depois toco nas unhas e faço as minhas tarefas domésticas enquanto a manicure permanece intacta). Os top coats matte são bastante versáteis porque aplicados sobre diferentes vernizes resultam em look únicas e singulares, sendo que vos mostro de seguida alguns exemplos :p

First we have Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt over the gorgeous purple Mollon Pro Nº134 Outremer Foncé, a creme finish polish and one of the new Mollon Pro colors. Looking at the before and after pictures, the after shows some shine in pictures, but in reallity the shine is absent and the polish is matte :)

Primeiro temos o Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt sobre o lindão roxo Mollon Pro Nº134 Outremer Foncé que possui um acabamento cremoso. Nas fotos do antes e depois verificam algum brilho no depois, mas na realidade o brilho está ausente e o verniz fosco :)

Then we have a metallic finish polish, the stuning Passe Nati Olho Turco. When I used this polish I barely could capture the purple shimmer, but mattified it is there as a reflex on the blue bakchroung and looks amazing!! 

Depois temos um verniz com acabamento metálico, o soberbo Passe Nati Olho Turco. Quando mostrei este verniz foi-me difícil capturar o shimmer roxo, mas matificado o shimmer está presente como um reflexo sobre a base azul, adorooooo!!

Top coat matte polishes work really weel with metallic polishes. The next example is over the manicure I did with Mollon Pro Nº123 Sardonyx and the matte finish is really good looking :)

Os vernizes top coat matte funcionam sempre bem sobre acabamentos metálicos. O exemplo seguinte é uma camada (como referi no inicio do post) sobre a manicure que fiz com o Mollon Pro Nº123 Sardonyx. O resultado fosco é super fofo :)

What about glitters? Ohh yes, Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt works perfectly with them! The following polish is Novo Toque Quartzo Rosa (the varnish that embelished my nails in womans day) and it is a lovely holographic pink glitter. I wasn't expecting what happened with Mollon Pro Top Coat Matte on top, but amasurprisingly it turned Quartzo Rosa into a suede finish! I loved it very much!!

E quanto a glitters? Ahh sim, o verniz Mollon Pro Top Coat Matt funciona muito bem com estes! O verniz seguinte é o Novo Toque Quartzo Rosa (o verniz que brilhou na sminhas unhas no dia da Mulher), que é um glitter rosa holográfico fofinho. Não esperava o que aconteceu de seguida com o top coat matte da Mollon Pro, surpreendentemente o acabamento ficou suede em vez de fosco. Adorei!!

One more glitter combination, this time with Shimmer Polish Carol. It turned matte and not suede like the previous glitter ;)

Vamos a mais uma combinação com glitter, desta feita com o Shimmer Polish Carol. Ele ficou fosco e não suede como o glitter anterios ;)

Passe Nati Olho Turco

Happy Weekend! :) When I chose my favorite polishes of 2012 one of them was Passe Nati Olho Turco and I never had used it until now (not cheating!). If I was mesmerized at the color in the bottle imagine in my nails, love it! I'm lucky to have it due to my friend Lari, because knowing of my blue polish love she introduced me to Olho Turco from Brazil. I'm so happy, this is an unique shade in the whole World!

Bom fim de semanaaa! :) Quando escolhi os meus vernizes preferidos de 2012, um deles foi o Passe Nati Olho Turco, que nunca tinha usado até então. Se já estava encantada com a cor no frasco, imaginem nas minhas unhas, adorei! Sou uma sortuda por tê-lo conseguido com a minha amiga Lari; ela sabendo da minha paixão por azuis, deu-mo a conhecer desde o Brasil. E ainda bem que o fez, esta cor é única no Planeta!

My pictures don't capture half of its gorgeousness! Main color is deep vibrant ink blue color and it has an amazing shimmer that sometimes looks blue and others purple (my camera captured it in the bottle instead of the nails lol). I'd swear it's the same shade as my everyday blue pen haha. Formula killed me, it's a one coater, perfect application and good drying time. It also doesn't stain as the color suggests :)

As minhas foto não captam de todo a beleza deste verniz! A cor predominante é um profundo e vibrante azul caneta com um lindo shimmer azul ou por vezes roxo (a minha câmara capturou o shimmer no frasco ao invés das unhas lol). Juraria que tem a mesma cor que a minha caneta azul que uso todos os dias lol. A formula surpreendeu-me pela positiva porque cobre com uma só camada, tem perfeita aplicação e bom tempo de secagem. Ao contrário do que a cor sugere, o Olho Turco não mancha as unhas :)

I used Passe Nati Olho Turco alone for a day and stamped in the following to take advantage of the sun :) Of course I stamped with my newest holographic polish Color Club Blue Heaven (ok, this was almost two weeks ago because now I have more holos in case you saw them in my facebook lol). I have a thing with holographic leaves and I don't know why, guess I really like the details and small lines :) This design belongs from Gals GA37 plate and I really like the outcome :)

Usei o Olho Turco assim puro por um dia e carimbei-o no segundo para aproveitar o sol que deu ar de sua graça :) Claro que carimbei com o meu mais recente verniz holográfico, o Color Club Blue Heaven (pronto, já não é o mais recente, mas isto foi há quase duas semanas lol). Tenho uma predilecção por carimbar folhas, acho que deve ser por gostar de ver o detalhe e os traços finos :) Este desenho pertence à placa Gals GA 37 e gostei muito :)

I'm really loving Olho Turco, it deserves the 2012 podium. I got curious with the stamping and think it will look stunning with an holographic top coat. Sorry my pictures don't really show it's dimension, i hate this. Do you own this baby? And what do you think of this stamping manicure? See you tomorrow and kisses :)

Estou mesmo a adorar o Olho Turco, merece o pódio de 2012 que lhe concedi. Fiquei bastante curiosa com o resultado do carimbo e tenho de experimentar uma camadinha fina de um top coat holográfico sobre o Olho Turco, deve ficar soberbo! Desculpem não ter conseguido melhores fotografias de toda a dimensão e profundidade do Olho Turco, detesto isso. Já possuem este menino? E que me dizem da manicure? Até manhã e beijinhos :)
