Paint It Blue! Custom blues for Autism

Hi ladies :)

As you know, April is the Autism awareness month and I want to share with you another way you can help. This also envolves nail polish, but in another perspective. If you follow this link, you'll find yourselfs in a place with polishes given by some ladies to help raise funds and awareness for Autism.

Review: Puple Professional Nº59

Hola chicas :)

As you know, blue is my favorite nail polish color... I can say I have plenty of different blue shades, but I don't own a shade like this purple Professional Nº59 nor liked it enough in the bottle. This polish was sent for review and belongs to the new Purple Professional Spring line with 15 new shades.

Como sabem, a minha cor favorita em vernizes é azul... posso dizer que tenho tons de azul intermináveis na colecção. mas não tenho este tom do Purple Professional Nº59 nem ele me atraiu por aí além no frasco... Este verniz foi-me enviado para review e é o segundo que vos apresento da nova colecção de Primavera com 15 novos vernizes.

But on my nails, things changed and I fell in love! Purple Professional Nº59 is a beautiful vibrant blue. As opposed to Purple Profesisonal Nº66, this one has a much better formula and pigmentation. It gives full nail coverage in two very nice coats. Application was as smooth as always, as well as drying time and shine. There's no top coat in my pictures, look at that beauty! :)

Mas, as coisas mudaram quando o verniz tocou nas minhas unhas e apaixonei-me! O Purple Professional Nº59 tem um tom de azul lindo e vibrante. Em oposicao ao Purple Professional Nº66, este azulinho tem uma excelente formula e pigmentação. Permite cobrir as unhas somente com duas camadas. A aplicação foi tão suave como sempre, tal como o tempo de secagem e brilho.  As fotos não têm top coat, por isso reparem na sua beleza! :)

I decided to do a nail art with the new MASH Nail Art 3D pallete that I also received for review and I picked the flowers. With OPI Road House Blues and tape I painted the blue segments and then individually placed each flower with a dotting tool dipped in top coat. To seal everything in, I used a coat of Color Club Top Coat. I was imagining something more delicate but these flowers aren't too small. I also thought they would shine in the dark due to the white but no, they don't :p The package also carries white stars and more pieces of nail art and colors, which is great for more quick manicures :)

Decidi fazer uma nail art com o novo conjunto MASH Nail Art 3D que também recebi para rever e optei pelas flores brancas. Com fita cola e com o OPI Road House Blues pintei as tiras azuis escuras. Depois, coloquei cada flor individualmente na unha com ajuda de um boleador  e um pouco de top coat. Para terminar e selar tudinho, usei uma camada do top coat Color Club. Imaginei algo mais delicado, mas as flores não são muito pequenas. Também assumi que iam brilhar no escuro devido à sua cor... mas não aconteceu lol :p O conjunto possui estrelas juntamente com as flores, além de mais tipos de peças e cores, perfeito para uma manicure rápida :)

There's only a single negative point in Purple Professional Nº59 that is precisely that, the number! I wished they had names... Anyway, it is really gorgeous and of good quality for its price (2-3€). Did you enjoy the color? And the nail art? It's not what I anticipated, but it is nice :) Kisses

O ponto negativo singular que encontro no verniz Purple Professional Nº59 é esse mesmo, o número. Desejava que todos tivessem nomes... Seja como for, este é um azul lindão e com excelente qualidade, aliado a um preço fantástico na gama 2-3€. Gostaram da cor? E da nail art? Não foi bem o que antecipei, mas está decente. Beijinhos :)

Penélope Luz Blue Bird of Paradise & OPI You're Such a Budapest

Since I saw Blue Bird of Paradise polish in Penélope's blog I decided I had to have it, no matter what! She used it over light blue and it looked gorgeous, but I always wanted to use it over lavender :) I used this combination last week and I truly loved it, I feel like using it again! *-*

Desde que vi o verniz Blue Bird of Paradise no blog da Penélope, decidi que ele teria de ser meu, fosse como fosse! Ela usou-o sobre um azul clarinho e ficou lindíssimo, mas eu sempre desejei em usar sobre lavanda :) Usei esta combinação há uma semana e adorei-a, apetece-me repetir! *-*

 In pictures you see a coat of PL Blue Bird of Paradise over OPI You're Such a Budapest. It doesn't look like, but this PL's base is transparent so it can be layered over a lot of shades, my particular picks being lavender and blue. To me, the star of this polish is the bigger purple matte hexs, while the small black and green ones also add a touch of tenderness. All glitters spread nicely and the polish dries fast. I added a coat of Color Club Top Coat to smooth the nail surface. I LOVE it!

Nas fotos observam uma camada do PL Blue Bird of Paradise sobre o OPI You're Such a Budapest. Não parece, mas a base é transparente e como tal o verniz pode ser usado sobre muitas cores, sendo azul e lavanda as minhas escolhas pessoais. Para mim, a estrela deste PL são os maiores hexágonos roxos matte, enquanto que os glitters verdes e pretos menores adicionam um toque de delicadeza. Todos os glitters espalham-se bem e o verniz seca rápido. Terminei com uma camada do top coat da Color Club para alisar a unha. ADORO!

I used OPI You're such a Budapest on my Easter manicure but I didn't show it alone. It needs three coats to full nail coverage and I don't really like that. Nor the fact it doesn't self level totaly. But I LOVE the color and everything else. I don't own any dupe and this color is just amazing, lavender with a touch of blue *-*

Já usei o OPI You're Such a Budapest na minha manicure de Páscoa, mas não o mostrei sozinho. Ele necessita de três camadas para cobrir as unhas e não gosto disto para a marca que é. Nem do facto de não se auto nivelar totalmente. Mas, AMO a cor e tudo o resto. Não possuo nada igual ou similar e a cor é maravilhosa, lavanda com um toque de azul *-*

I don't know what else to say about PL's polishes, it's my favorite indie brand and I love all the ones I've used so far :) What do you think of the combination? Do you own any of these babies? Kisses

Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter

Olá meninas :)

Sometimes you personally see and love a polish but for a reason or another one you don't get it and later regret it lol.  That's what happened to me with this polish, Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter. I was faced with it in last years expocosmetics and while some of my friends got it, I didn't because we arrived late at Peggy Sage and I with an empty wallet. Meantime I drooled every time I saw it online and a month ago I finally got the chance to buy it from Bárbara's blogsale :)))

Por vezes há vernizes que pessoalmente adoramos e que por um motivo ou outro acabamos por não comprar e mais tarde lamentar. Foi o que me sucedeu com este verniz, o Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter. Deparei-me com ele na Expocosmética do ano passado e enquanto algumas amigas o trouxeram eu fiquei a namorar e não comprei porque chegamos ao stand da Peggy Sage com a minha carteira falecida lol. Matutei cada vez que o vi nos blogs... e comprei-o há cerca de um mês no blogsale da Bárbara Betty :))

It's gorgeous but a pain in the ass to photograph! I took more than 100 photos and my camera never focused on it alone... but after stamping it focused very well, go figure O.O. Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter has a dark wine jelly base filled with multi colores flakies (not glitter as the name implies) in purple, green, pink, red and silver. I needed three coats to cover my nails and it applies nicely :) I love it a lot, specially how a flash of color from the flakies looks against the dar wine base *.* The next two pics are what I managed to save from the 100 I took...

É lindíssimo mas mega difícil de fotogrfar! Tirei mais de 100 fotos e a minha câmara nunca focou com o verniz sozinho... mas depois de carimbar focou bem, não percebo O.O. O Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter tem uma base jelly vinho cheia de flocos multicoloridos (não glitters como o nome sugere) em verde, roxo, rosa, vermelho e prata. Precisei de três camadas para cobrir as unhas e aplica-se bem :) Gosto muito dele, especialmente do contraste entre as diversas cores dos flocos com a base vinho *.* As duas fotos seguintes foi o que consegui salvar das cerca de 100 que tirei...

I used Tulipe Glitter alone for two days and then spiced it uo with a bit of nail art. I stamped with La Femme Branco this image from m66 plate. See how my camera focus better now? I loved this combination!

Usei o Tulipe Glitter sozinho por dois dias, findos os quais decidi carimbar. Usei o verniz La Femme Branco e o desenho da plaquinha m66. Vêm como a minha câmara focou melhor depois de carimbado? Adorei esta combinação!

By chance I have an available Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter available on my blogsale because it came after I bought my own. So, and if you like this one, go ahead and buy it :p Last weekend at expocosmetics I grabed a bottle and was pretty happy I had my own at home! Muahaha! Kisses :)

Por sorte do destino tenho um exemplar do Peggy Sage Tulipe Glitter à venda no meu blogsale, que surgiu depois de eu ter comprado o meu, por isso e se gostaram deste lindo tanto quanto eu comprem-no! :p No fim de semana na expocomética agarrei-me a um frasquinho e fiquei muito feliz por ter o meu próprio em casa! Misa Pinky Promise & Tony Moly GS09

Good Morning :)

Last week I was so busy at University that I decided I needed something soft in my nails so to keep me from thinking on them. I used one of my new polishes that I got at expocosmetics, Misa Pinky Promise. It was my first time using this brand and I was more than curious to see how it behaves :p

Na semana passada estive tão ocupada com a Universidade que decidi colocar algo calmo e delicado nas unhas, de modo a não me distrair em demasia lol. O escolhido tinha acabado de ser comprado na Expocosmética e foi o Misa Pinky Promise. Foi a minha primeira vez a usar esta marca e estava mais do que curiosa para saber como se comportaria :p

Pinky Promise is sweet light pink color with some dustiness and a creme finish. Very nice for Spring or any time of the year actually :p Formula was a bit thin and hence required three coats to full nail coverage. It was very easy to apply because Misa has a soft flat brush and it also dried fast, iei! I experienced a bit of streaking and you can see in some pictures that the formula didn't even out perfectly. Anyway, I'm quite please with this baby. It suits my skin so well, I love it!

O Pinky Promise é uma cor rosa clara, muito fofa, com um toque de cinza. Tem um acabamento cremoso que tanto se adequa à Primavera como a qualquer outra estação do ano :p A formula estava um pouco fina e por isso necessitei de três camadas para cobrir as unhas. Foi bastante fácil de aplicar porque o Misa tem um pincel macio e achatado, além de secar rápido, iai! Experienciei um pouco de estrias porque o verniz não se auto nivelou bem e podem observar tal nalgumas fotos. Seja como for, estou bastante satisfeita com este menino. E fica tão bem na minha pele, adoro!

Two days later I grown sick of a plain creme and no matter how pretty it is, I had to add something. That something was Tony Moly GS09 that I received the day earlier :D I bought three Tony Moly's polishes (from Korea) through ebay with a Paypal discount and they got here in 11 days, wow! This Tony Moly GS09 has a  light purple jelly base and it's filled with green, yellow, silver, pink and blue glitter. It covers a nail with three coats but I experienced and loved better how it looks with two coats over misa Pinky promise than alone :p

Dois dias mais tarde fiquei cansada de um simples verniz cremoso, não importa o quão bonito é, e tive de adicionar algo. Esse algo foi o Tony Moly GS09 que chegou no dia anterior :D Comprei 3 Tony Moly's (da Coreia) através do ebay e com um código de desconto do Paypal; chegaram em 11 dias, iai!! O GS09 tem uma base roxa clara preenchida com glitters verde, amarelo, prata, rosa e azul. Cobre as unhas com três camadas mas experimentei e adorei como fica assim sobre o Misa. Assim fiz e com duas camadas :p

Through ebay I always considered Tony Moly bottles to be small but they aren't, they're huge! Round and big. I want more Tony Moly and Japanese brands like Étude House, they really have gorgeous polishes and amazing nail art stuff *.* I intend on using the Misa more often too, I really liked it :) Did you too? Sempre pensei que os frascos da Tony Moly fossem pequeninos devido às fotos do Ebay, mas antes pelo contrário! São grandes e redondas. Quero mais Tony Moly e lindos vernizes Japoneses, como  Étude House e coisas maravilhosas de nail art que eles têm *.* Pretendo usar mais vezes este Misa, gosto mesmo da cor :) E vocês também gostam?
