Dance Legend #15 Moondust

Olá meninas! :)

I'm a blue polish lover but for some reason not all blue sand polishes appeal to me. Go figure lol. I did take a chance with Dance Legend Moondust over the Summer because it is a darker shade and didn't match anything in the market. So, why not? Good thing is that I don't regret it! :D

Como sabem, sou uma amante de vernizes azuis. Mas por algum motivo, quase nenhum verniz texturizado azul apelou-me ao coração. Portanto, arrisquei-me no Verão quando comprei o Dance Legend Moondust, porque foi o primeiro na colecção. Escolhi-o por ser um azul escuro e lindo, também não vi nada igual no mercado ;) Ainda bem que acabei por não me arrepender! :D

Its gorgeous! :) But one gets her hopes up looking at the bottle and then the beauty isn't transferred to nails. I'm referring to the purple/golden reflexes I see in the bottle. I'm not that sad because I love how Dance Legend looks in nails. It is a sand textured polish (love the matching gritty lid!) with a blue matte pigment and shiny blue shimmer. Loved the application but didn't like the drying time. It took some time to dry. Now there's something I'm really frustrated which is durability. So, I did this manicure in a Friday (for the entire weekend) and then Saturday as I was dish washing, big pieces of polish started chipping and coming off! Gahhh! My right hand was immediately ruined! Good thing I took the polish with me in case something happened.

Não há dúvidas de que é lindo! :) Mas uma pessoa fica entusiasmada com o que vê no frasco que depois desilude quando não passa para as unhas. Refiro-me aos reflexos roxos/dourados que se nota no frasco nalgumas fotos. Contudo, não desanimei porque adoro como fica nas unhas! É um verniz texturizado com acabamento arenoso (adoro a tampinha a combinar!), com um pigmento azul que fica matte e shimmer azul e brilhante. Gostei da aplicação mas não do tempo de secagem; é lento a secar.  Mas o que realmente fez-me passar dos carretos foi a durablidade... Chicas, pintei as unhas na sexta-feira para o fim de semana todo; ora, no sábado estava a lavar a loiça e eis que o verniz começa a descascar e saem grandes pedaços?? Gahhhhh!!! A mão direita ficou competamente arruinada! O que vale é que tinha levado o verniz comigo por precaução!

Regarding my ring nail art, it is a gradient featuring Jessica Touch It, Zoya Carter and Dance Legend Moondust. I was surprise by how well sand polishes blend :) Then I stamped the flower image from Pueen 49 plate with Barry M Gold Foil Effects. It looks like the flowers are bursting from the cuticles and I love it! *_* 

Relativamente à nail art no dedo anelar, fiz um gradiente com os vernizes Jessica Touch It, Zoya Carter e Dance Legend Moondust. Fiquei bastante surpresa porque os vernizes misturaram bastante bem, mesmo com este acabamento :D Depois carimbei as flores da placa Pueen 49 com o verniz Barry M Gold Foil Effects. Parece que as flores estã a surgir da cutícula e adoro o efeito *_*

Overall, I love the polish but there's many buts lol. Its also hard to get and one needs to struggle in online webstores and face cart jacking to get it. Is it worth it? Thats a discussable subject. I bought mine in the official Dance Legend website, but waited near 3 months for it to arrive (slow Russian mail). I may take my chances in a webstore now lol. Also, Dance Legend keeps releasing new collections... and I'm honestly lost with whats new or not hehehe. Do you own any sand polish from Dance Legend? Does it have the same durability as mine? Did you like this baby? I'm now going to prepare to go to today's Opening Event of Kate's Kare in Lisbon (with Kinetics polishes) and I'll talk to you soon :) Kisses,

No geral, adoro o verniz mas há muitos "mas" lol. Outra questão que vale a pena referir é que esta marca não é fácil de comprar. Uma pessoa precisa sujeitar-se ao stock de lojas online e enfrentar possíveis roubos no carrinho de compra. É um assunto discutivel. Até porque eu comprei os meus directamente no site oficial da marca, mas esperei quase 3 meses que chegassem (porque o correio russo é leeento). Acho que na próxima vez vou-me ficar pelas lojas online lol. Por outro lado, a Dance Legend não pára de lançar novas colecções! Jassuss, tou super confusa com o que é novo ou não O.o. Mas adiante, têm algum verniz sand da Dance Legend? A durabilidade também é péssima? Gostaram deste verniz? StampAholics ST03 plate

Hello gorgeous! :)

Today I bring you my review on the new StampAholics ST03 plate. Just to quickly remind you, this is a new brand in the stamping plates market and it is created by dear Ana from Portugal :) I've previously reviewed ST01 and ST02. Lets take a look:

Hoje trago-vos a minha review da nova plaquinha StampAholics ST03. Recordo-vos que a StampAholics é uma nova marca de plaquinhas de carimbo Portuguesa e criada pela querida Ana :D Anteriormente revi a ST01 e ST02. Vamos espreitar:

Unlike her previous two sisters, ST03 plate doesn't have a specific theme and is focused on full nail designs. I'd call them abstract designs in the sense that they can be suited to everyday and any occasions :) ST03 has the same diameter as her sisters (7cm) and the full nail image has 1.5 cm of width and 2.0 cm length (check the below picture and do measure your nails now ;p ). Its composed of 9 designs, 6 full images and 3 word images. I love them all, but my favorite is "less is more", which is yet to be used lol. I've tried all images in paper swatches and some in nails (pictures below) and found they all transfer very well to nails, given the design engraving depth.

Ao contrário das suas duas irmãs, a placa ST03 não tem um tema específico nos desenhos. Está mais focada em imagens de unha inteira e desenhos abstractos, isto no sentido em que podem ser usados em qualquer ocasião. :) A placa ST03 tem o mesmo diâmetro que as duas anteriores (7 cm). Os desenhos de unha inteira têm 1,5cm de largura e 2cm de comprimento. Toca a pegar numa régua e medir as vossas unhas hehe! A placa é composta por 9 desenhos, sendo 6 de unha inteira e 3 com frases. Gosto muito de todos, mas particularmente do "less is more" que por acaso ainda não usei lol. Experimentei todas as imagens em papel e outras nas unhas (fotos abaixo), sendo que todas transferiram bem e têm uma boa profundidade de gravura. São fáceis de usar :)

On to some manicures! :) There's 4 manicures on this post and I've decided to show swatches of the individual polishes as well for two of them. The first manicure is a quick one over Dance Legend High Voltage, stamped with black polish. Black stamping always goes well with holographic polishes :) The polish used to stamp was Mash Black.

Vamos às manicures! :) Este post contém 4 manicures e decidi também mostrar fotos de dois dos vernizes usados a nível individual. A primeira manicure é muito simples. Carimbei o desenho oval com o verniz Mash Black sobre o verniz Dance Legend High Voltage.

Next we have the blue one, where I started with two coats of Bellaoggi 81 and then stamped two images from ST03 plate with Mash Navy Seal polish. Here you can see how well the words transferred.

De seguida temos a manicure azul. Comecei com duas camadas do verniz Bellaoggi 81 e carimbei duas imagens da plaquinha ST03 com o verniz Mash Navy Seal. Aqui nota-se como as letras transferem bem para a unha.

Now, we have sort of a Fall landscape :p The ST03 plate design reminds me of leaves... so the stamping evolved into this :p The mint base is Barry M Mint Green stamped with Mash Brunswick Green polish. Then, I stamped the trees from winstonia W102 plate with Mundo de Uñas Brown polish and the falling leaves with the Yellow and Orange polishes, also from Mundo de Uñas :)

Temos agora uma espécie de paisagem Outonal :p O desenho da placa ST03 faz-me lembrar folhas, então a modos que o carimbo evoluíu para o que vêm nas fotos :p O verniz base é o Barry M Mint Green, carimbado com o verniz Mash Brunswick Green (verde). Depois carimbei as árvores da placa winstonia W102 com o verniz Brown da marca Mundo de Uñas e as folhas esvoaçantes com os vernizes Orange e Yellow, da mesma marca.

At last, we have the most recent manicure with Mollon Pro 171 Roxane polish. The stamping polish is Barry M Gold Foil Effects, followed by a coat of OPI Matte Top Coat. (be careful to apply a matte top coat after sealing the stamping design with regular shiny top coat, or else it will smudge).

Finalmente temos uma manicure com o verniz Mollon Pro 171 Roxane. Para o carimbo usei o verniz Barry M Gold Foil Nail Effects, seguido de uma camada do top coat OPI Matte. (cuidado quando quiserem matificar uma manicure estampada; apliquem primeiro um top coat normal e depois o matte, senão vão borrar o desenho).

And that's all for now! :) I'm clearly very pleased with all images because I found nothing wrong with them. CND Vynilux Lilac Longing & by Dany Vianna Ursula

Recently I received a couple polishes to review from a new USA Webstore: Beyond Polish. I was like a child selecting the shades because EU and worldwide ladies: this store has brands hard for us to get!! I'm referring to CND, OPI, Zoya, Essie, etc and for a very reasonable price *-* I'm this happy because we can get some of the polishes here in EU, but two or three times more! My first choice was CND Lilac Longing, both because I never tried the brand before and also because the shade looked beautiful!

Recebi recentemente alguns vernizes para rever de uma nova loja online americada: Beyond Polish. Transformei-me numa criança a escolher os vernizes que mais gostei porque, mulheres da Europa e resto do Mundo, esta loja tem marcas que são difíceis para nós conseguir-mos! Ou eram hehe. Refiro-me a marcas tais como CND, OPI, Zoya, Essie, etc e o melhor, por um preço muito bom *-* Sim, é possível comprar cá na Europa alguns vernizes, mas pelo dobro e tiplo do preço! O primeiro verniz escolhido foi o CND Lilac Longing porque pareceu-me bonito e também porque nunca tinha experimentado a marca. 

Beautiful?? No, stunning! *_* My heart fell for it as soon as it was unwrapped! Beautiful, oh beautiful dusty lilac creme shade! *-* CND Lilac Longing (15ml) belongs to the Vinylux Fall 2013 collection. The Vinylux system has a wide selection of colors and 47 of them match Shellac colors as well. These polishes don't require a base coat and the brand recommends usage of the Weekly Top Coat to further enhance the durability (7-10 days). I didn't receive the top coat, so I used CND Lilac Longing as I normally do: with Kinetics Nano Rhino base coat. I didn't notice something special besides that there was small nail tip wear at day 3. But I think this is normal depending on your daily tasks. I'm in love with CND Lilac Longing not only because of the shade, but application and formula as well. This is two coats. Formula is very easy to work with, dries quite fast, gorgeous shine and I loved the soft flat brush! I have nothing negative to say *-*

Bonito? Não, soberbo! *_* O meu coração caíu ao chão assim que o desembrulhei! Que tom lilás mais sexy e fofo! *-* Este verniz CND Lilac Longing (15 ml) pertence à colecção Vinylux do Outono 2013. O sistema Vinylux contém imensas cores e acabamentos, sendo que 47 correspondem a verniz Shellac e está baseado em 2 passos. Primeiro aplica-se o verniz sobre a unha (sem base) e depois finaliza-se com o Top Coat Weekly (semanal) que proporciona maior durabilidade ao verniz (7-10 dias). Bom, eu não recebi o top coat, portanto usei o verniz normalmente e desta vez com a base Kinetics Nano Rhino. Não notei nada de especial, somente gasto nas pontas no terceiro dia; mas suponho que seja normal, dependendo claro das tarefas diárias de cada pessoa. Não estou só super apaixonada pelo verniz CND Lilac Longing pela sua cor, mas também pela formula e aplicação. O que vêm nas fotos são duas camadas super fáceis de aplicar. Adorei o pincel suave e achatado. A formula flui perfeitamente nas unhas, seca rápido e tem um brilho excelente. Não tenho nada negativo a apontar *-*

by Dany Vianna Ursula was sitting in my desk for months now because I never found the perfect matching base. But alas, I finally did! *.* (sorry about my enthusiasm chicas, but I truly loved everything in this post :p). by Danny Vianna is a Brazillian indie brand and Dany creates amazing and so elegant glitter polishes. Ursula belongs to her Pequena Sereia (Little Mermaid in English) collection, from which I've showed Ariel before. by Dany Vianna Ursula is just wow in its simplicity, yet perfect color combination *-* There's black squares and microglitter and purple microglitter in different sizes. All in a translucent base. To smooth the glitters I applied a coat of Kinetics Kwik Kote. 

Este lindão by Dany Vianna Ursula estava parado na minha secretária há meses... sempre à espera de encontrar a base perfeita. E eis que finalmente surgiu! :D *.* (desculpem o meu entusiasmo, mas estou profundamente apaixonada por tudo neste post :p). Para quem não se recorda, a marca by Dany Vianna é uma marca de vernizes artesanais Brasileira, criada pela Dany fofa! :) O Ursula pertence à colecção Pequena Sereia, sendo que anteriormente já vos mostrei o Ariel. O verniz by Dany Vianna Ursula é simplesmente espectacular na sua simplicidade e combinação perfeita de cores *-*. Contém glitter quadrado e micro preto e glitter roxo em vários tamanhos. Tudo numa base transparente. Como é de esperar, o glitter deixa um pequeno relevo nas unhas, por isso terminei com uma camada do top coat Kwik Kote para suavizar :).

So sweet! The little flowers were a last minute addition from Moyou Suki 01 plate. What do you think of the combination? And CND Vinylux Lilac Belonging? I'm certainly going to search for similar shades in the future lol. Make sure you check Beyond Polish store because they offer far more than regular polish including gel polish, acrylic, nail treatments, etc. Kisses and see you tomorrow :)

Que fofura!! O detalhe das flores no dedo anelar foi uma decisão de última hora e conseguida com a placa Moyou Suki 01. Gostaram desta combinação? E do verniz CND Vinylux Lilac Belonging? Penso que agora vou andar à caça de cores similares hehe xD. Confiram o site da loja Beyond Polish porque oferecem mais produtos além dos vernizes normais, tais como verniz gel, acrílico, tratamentos de unhas, etc. Beijinhos e até manhã :)

Kinetics KP 252 Street Gang

Today I want to share with you an amazing blue shade form the most recent Fall collection by Kinetics: Urban Legend. It is Kinetics KP 252 Street Gang and the darkest blue shade of the collection (and possibly the most beautiful?? haha) :) 

Hoje quero partilhar convosco um verniz azul espectacular da mais recente colecção de Outono da Kinetics: Urban Legend. É o verniz Kinetics KP 252 Street Gang, o azul mais escuro da colecção (e possivelmente o mais bonito?? heheh) :)

I love all the blue polishes of this collection so it is a bit hard to pick my favorite. But look at the below pictures... what a creamy gorgeous shade! In truth, I love all my blue Kinetics polishes and its not only because its my favorite polish color! lol. About the polish, its well pigmented and formula is self leveling. It is also very easy to work with and needs two coats to obtain full coverage. Heaven I say! lol Something you can always expect from this brand is high drying time and beautiful shine *-*

Amo os vernizes azuis desta colecção, mas confesso que é difícil escolher o meu favorito. Mas, vejam as fotos abaixo... que cor cremosa tão linda e apetitosa!  Na verdade, adoro todos os vernizes azuis da Kinetics que tenho, e não é por ser a minha cor preferida! lol. Relativamente ao verniz em si, ele é bem pigmentado e a formula uniformiza-se sozinha. É fácil de aplicar e com duas camadas cobre as unhas. Perfeito! :D Algo que podemos sempre esperar desta marca é o excelente brilho e rápido tempo de secagem. Se ainda não experimentaram os vernizes Kinetics, recomendo vivamente! *-*

The day after I did a quick stamping nail art (as always lol). I picked the lovely flower image from Moyou Pro XL 14 plate and stamped it with Orly Voyeuristic Adventure polish. I loved the glossy metallic version, but even MORE the matte one! So this is why you only get to see the matte version lol, for which I used a coat of OPI Matte top coat *-*

No dia seguinte e como sempre, fiz uma nail art com carimbo :p Escolhi esta imagem de flores (que me gusta muito) da placa Moyou Pro XL 14 e carimbei-a com o verniz Orly Voyeuristic Adventure. Adorei o look metálico resultante, mas AMEI a versão matte! E por isso, só fotografei a última :p Usei uma camada do verniz OPI Matte Top Coat para obter o seguinte resultado *-* :

It felt so smooth to the touch and for some reason, reminded me of pillows lol. :D It also helped that Kinetics Street Gang and Orly Voyeuristic Adventure both look beautiful with a matte top coat :) I'm sorry if I'm overloading you with Moyou stamping plates but... I received some more today, oops! So there's more to come. On another note, there's a new store carrying Kinetics that will open this Thursday in Lisbon, kind of near me... Wohoo! *-* One of my beloved top coats (Kinetics Kwik Kote) is suddenly easier to get :D Plus, Kinetics is having a buy tree and pay two polishes sale! :) What do you think of Street Gang and the overall look? Ficou tão suave ao toque... e por algum motivo fez-me lembrar almofadas lol :) Claro que ajudou e contribuíu para este resultado o facto de tanto o verniz Kinetics Street Gang, como o Orly Voyeuristic Adventure ficarem muito bonito s foscos :) Chicas, lamento se vos ando (e vou) sobrecarregar com as placas Moyou... mas a verdade é que hoje rcebi a minha última compra, ups! Mudando de assunto, na quinta-feira abre uma nova loja com a marca Kinetics em Lisboa (morada abaixo)! *-* Agora vai ser mais fácil para as meninas deste lado do país comprarem (e eu vou conseguir num ápice um dos meus top coats favoritos: Kinetics Kwik Kote) *.* Um outro detalhe é que a marca está a fazer uma promoção espectacular de compre três vernizes e pague dois, durante Novembro e Dezembro! :) Pronto, e agora o que acharam do look geral e do verniz Kinetics Street Gang?
