Uber Chic UC 4-01 Stamping Plate Review

Hello gorgeous! :)

If you follow me in other social media, you know I recently received the new Uber Chic Uber Mat and stamping plates collection four :D Today I want to share with you my thoughts and review of UC 4-01 stamping plate :) I realise that I'm late to party because it was released a couple months ago; but in my defense, this package was in customs for an entire month (ugh!).

Se me seguem noutras redes sociais sabem que recebi recentemente a Colecção 4 de placas de carimbo e o Uber Mat da Uber Chic :D Hoje quero partilhar convosco a minha opinião e exemplos de manicures com a placa UC 4-01 :) Eu sei que a colecção foi lançada há uns meses, mas infelizmente a alfândega ficou com a minha caixa na sua posse por um mês inteiro (ugh!).

Collection four also consists of three stamping plates such as the previous collections. The theme is mainly flowers and geometric patterns as before too, but UC 4-01 has many more flower designs. I am very much ok with this despite knowing some of you are more into other designs. Uber Chic UC 4-01 stamping plate contains 30 designs. The designs are well etched in the plate and transfer very nicely to nails :) The backing hasn't changed and is stained by too pigmented stamping polishes such as Mundo de Uñas Black and Mexican Pink (for example).

Como nas colecções anteriores, a Colecção 4 consiste em três placas de carimbo. O tema recai principalmente sobre flores e padrões geométricos, se bem que dominam as flores na placa UC 4-01. Esta contém 30 desenhos. Os padrões estão bem gravados e transferem/carimbam muito bem :) A protecção da placa permanece a mesma, pelo que mancha com vernizes muito pigmentados como o Mundo de Uñas Black ou MdU Mexican Pink por exemplo.

The first nail art I did was using the large flowers ion the bottom right of the plate; well, I only used the big flower in the thumb that is :p This is one coat of Penélope Luz Spring Night over two coats of Mavala Touch of Provence. First I stamped with Mundo de Uñas 69 Tutti and then with MdU White. I bet you know pigmented polishes stains everything if not top coated, hence the pink color smeared the white when I applied Seche Vite. Anyway, I love how it turned out very much! haha 

A primeira manicure que fiz foi com as flores do canto inferior direito (óbvio que só usei a flor maior no polegar hehe :p). O que vêm é uma camada do glitter artesanal Penélope Luz Spring Night sobre duas camadas do Mavala Touch of Provence. A combinação de cores no carimbo foi inesperada porque o rosa manchou o branco :p. Primeiro carimbei com o verniz Mundo de Uñas 69 Tutti (roxo) e depois com o branco MdU White. Isto acontece com vernizes pigmentados se não forem previamente selados com top coat. Mas posso dizer que amei como ficou e já é a segunda vez que faço esta experiência! :D

The following nail art sort of reminds me of a scarf pattern haha (though I was not inspired by one). It started with a saran wrap base combining several nude polishes including Mollon Pro 213 Nude Pearl. The pink you see comes from me stamping the flower pattern from UC 4-01 with Mundo de Uñas Nabu. The pattern wasn't dinstinguishable enough, so I stamped the same design in white and then mattified everything :D Much better with double stamping :p.

Apesar de não me ter inspirado num cachecol, a manicure seguinte lembra-me bastante um. Comecei com uma base saran wrap, com vários vernizes nude, entre eles o Mollon Pro 213 Nude Pearl. Carimbei o padrão florido com o rosa Mundo de Uñas Nabu, mas não resultou muito bem... por isso carimbei depois com o branco Mundo de Uñas White e matifiquei tudo. Ficou bem melhor com o carimbo duplo! :D

Speaking of flowers, here's one more manicure :p For this one I used the top right design and also did a gold saran wrap base, featuring Mollon Pro 222 Golden Shimmer. The color nuances aren't quite noticeable I know, but ah well... :p The stamping polish was Mundo de Uñas Black. Regardless, black & gold is always so chic! :) The day after I decided to upgrade this look to a more Autumn one and used several jelly polishes and the leadlight stamping technique to achieve the final result.

E por falar em flores, eis mais uma manicure com o tema :p Para esta escolhi o padrão do canto superior direito. Fiz mais uma base com a técnica saran wrap usando entre vários vernizes dourados, o Mollon Pro 222 Golden Shimmer; infelizmente não se nota assim tão bem as nuances de dourado hehe. Contudo, dourado e preto é chic e eu claro que gostei! :) No dia seguinte, mudei esta manicure para algo mais Outonal. Para alcançar o look final, usei a técnica leadlight stamping e vários vernizes jelly.

Ozotic 513 On Steroids

I while ago I saw this post that Gi did that gave me the idea for today's manicure with Ozotic 513 on steroids...

Há algum tempo atrás vi este post da Gi e fiquei com a ideia de recriar o mesmo efeito. Então, hoje mostro-vos o Ozotic 513 com esteróides...

On what?? haha A polish on steroids is the term applied to the combination of a jelly holographic polish with holographic glitter between coats (if you knoe the first person to use this term, pelase let me kow so I can give proper credits). Not only does the polish have a gorgeous holographic flame, but it is taken to another dimension given the sparkle of each holographic glitter :D It's a stunning combo, you should try it! I tried with Ozotic 513 which a beautiful purple that however, has been discontinued. The holographic glitter was China Glaze Glistening Snow.

Com o quê?? hahaha Um verniz com esteróides foi a designação encontrada para designar a combinação de verniz holográfico jelly com glitter holográfico entre camadas (se souberem quem usou o termo pela 1º vez, por favor informem-me). Não só o verniz tem a sua chama holográfica linda e maravilhosa, como atinge toda uma outra dimensão devido ao brilho de cada glitter holográfico *-*! Basicamente, apliquei uma camada do verniz Ozotic 513, outra do glitter China Glaze Glistening Snow e finalizei com mais uma camada do Ozotic 513.

I used Ozotic 513 on streroids for a couple days and afterwards I had to stamp :p I chose the rose pattern from Uber Chic UC 4-01 plate and picked DRK Dourado Elegante as the stamping polish. I liked it :)

Usei esta combinação por dois dias, mas depois acabei por carimbar :p Escolhi o padrão de rosas da placa Uber Chic UC 4-01 e carimbei com o verniz de carimbo DRK Dourado Elegante. Gostei!

Mollon Pro Cuticle Oils Review

Mollon Pro released three cuticle oils and treatments this Summer and I have them all today to show you guys :) These are quite efficient, smell great and have different flowers inside. I won't lie, I find them adorable!!! Also, it's been a while since I wanted something like this because 1) it's very feminine and 2) my nail oils are finishing and these just arrived in good timing :D

Quero apresentar-vos hoje três óleos de cutículas que a Mollon Pro lançou este Verão :) São eficazes, cheiram bem e têm flores no interior do frasco. Acho-os mega adoráveis!! *-* Não vou negar que há algum tempo que queria óleos de cutículas com flores dentro até porque 1) são femininos e 2) os meus óleos de cutículas anteriores estão no fim (excelente timing!) :D

Each 15ml nail oil is meant to have different effects on our cuticles. So, if you ask me if I really need them all... yes, I do! I believe that moisturizing our nails is of the utmost importance to have healthy nails! I believe that so much that I have nail oils everywhere: in my desk, in my living room, in my bedroom, in my purse, etc. :p  I wish it was possible to share smells through the internet because they're that good! haha. 

Cada frasco de óleo de cutículas tem 15 ml e cumpre diferentes objectivos. Se me perguntarem se preciso dos três óleos de cutículas... a reposta é sim! Acredito que o aspecto crucial de ter unhas saudáveis e bonitas é hidratá-las sempre que possível! É por isso que tenho óleos em todo o lado hehe: na minha secretária, no quarto, na sala, na mala, etc. :p Quem me dera que fosse possível partilhar pela Internet o cheirinho de cada um destes óleos... hum hum!

Lets start with Mollon Pro Regenerating Rose Oil, which has a sweet rose scent. This cuticle oil is meant to hydrate, regenerate and increase the elasticity of the skin around nails.

Vamos começar pelo Óleo Regenerador de Rosas com um cheirinho óptimo a rosas. O seu objectivo é hidratar, regenerar e aumentar a elasticidade da pele à volta das unhas (cutículas).

Now we have Mollon Pro Moisturizing Heather Oil which contains the cutest flowers inside. This cuticle oil moisturizes dry cuticles and helps slow its growth wit repeated use.

Temos agora o Óleo Hidratante de Urze que tem as flores mais bonitas de todos. A função deste óleo é hidratar as cutículas secas e também diminuir o seu crescimento com o uso frequente.

Last we have my favorite which is Mollon Pro Softening Calendula Oil Bacterial. I just LOVE the smell! *-* This oil is meant to calm and hydrate rough, irritated, fissured cuticle skin as well as providing anti-bacterial properties.

Por fim temos o meu óleo preferido que é o Óleo Anti-Bacteriano de Calêndula. O cheiro é maravilhoso, adoro! *-* O propósito deste óleo é acalmar irritações e fissuras nas cutículas ao mesmo tempo que tem propriedades anti-bacterianas e hidrata a pele áspera. 

Since they have 15ml, they will last for quite some time (many months) and hence I do believe this is a great investment on your nails health. Messy Mansion MM 51 Stamping Plate Review

A while ago I shared with you my review of Messy Mansion MM 53 stamping plate. Did you think that was the only plçate with gates designs? Well, no. Messy Mansion did release on another plate with and inspired by gates - Messy Mansion MM 51 plate. Shall wee take a look?

Há algumas semanas atrás partilhei a minha review da placa Messy Mansion MM 53. Achavam que era a única com desenhos de portões? Pois, não. A Messy Mansion lançou ao mesmo tempo uma outra placa inspirada em portões; trata-se da placa de carimbo Messy Mansion MM 51. Vamos ver?

As you can see, there's some very intricate patterns in this plate. Some of these patterns are best used in larger nails than smaller, but the opposite happens as well. All the designs are well etched and stamped perfectly; I found no issue at all. 

Como já devem ter percebido, esta placa contém desenhos bastante detalhados. Alguns destes são perfeitos para unhas grandes, mas o oposto também sucede. Verifiquei que a placa está bem gravada e carimba bem, sendo que não detectei qualquer incongruência.

The following pattern is my favorite because I can use it across the nail as if my nails were indeed a gate <3 That was exactly what I did :D For the base, I went with three colors of Purple Professional 77 Emerald, a beautiful holo green glitter. The, I stamped the gate pattern with Mundo de Uñas Black et voilá.

O padrão do portão do lado direito é o meu favorito porque pode ser usado em todas as unhas e fica mesmo parecendo um portão <3 Foi isso que fiz. Apliquei primeiro três camadas do verniz Purple Professional 77 Emerald - glitter verde holográfico divo! Depois carimbei o padrão com o verniz Muno de Uñas Black.

I'm not entirely sure if the next nail arts isn't too confusing, but lets see. I wanted to be able to spot a garden through the gates... that's where the idea was born. I started by painting Cliché Duchesse polish as base and then stamped flowers, trees and butterflies from MoYou London Mother Nature 14 plate with several stamping polishes: Mundo de Uñas Avocado Green, Sunflower and Nabu. Then  I stamped the gate pattern from MM 51 in black with Mundo de Uñas Black and also freenhanded a "window" around the nail. I like it... but, what do you think? Does it look like you're looking out a window? As you see, things didn't turn out ok in the ring finger haha (I confess I was too lazy to redo it :p)

Não tenho bem a certeza se a manicure seguinte não ficou muito confusa hehe. O meu objectivo era fazer uma nail art onde a pessoa esteja a ver o jardim por entre os ferros do portão. Tudo começou com três camadas do verniz Cliché Duchesse para fazer a base. Depois usei várias cores de carimbo para carimbar as flores, relva, árvore e borboletas da placa MoYou London Mother Nature 14; foram os vernizes Mundo de Uñas Avocado Green, Sunflower e Nabu. Por fim, carimbei o portão com preto e fiz o contorno da unha a preto com um pincel. Parece-vos que estão a olhar de uma janela para o jardim? Infelizmente a "brincadeira" não correu muito bem no anelar e o carimbo ficou de lado hehe (não repeti por preguiça, confesso).

Mollon Pro Extrême 06 Cappucino Review

Here I am with one more polish from the Mollon Pro Extrême collection. This is a collection with gel polish finish without using a LED/UV lamp and durability up to ten days. It's a three step system where you apply base coat (step 1), color (step 2) and top coat (step 3). Meet Mollon Pro Extrême 06 Cappucino.

Cá estamos nós com mais um verniz da linha Mollon Pro Extrême. Trata-se de uma linha de vernizes com acabamento e durabilidade até 10 dias sem necessidade de usar lâmpada LED/UV; a aplicação é em três passos: base (passo 1), cor (passo 2) e top coat (passo 3). Apresento-vos o Mollon Pro Extrême 06 Cappucino.

It's no secret that I love nude polishes... and this is just right up my alley! :D This nude has a certain brown/cappucino undertone to it and looks very elegant in a manicure. Application was a breeze because it has a good formula and pigmentation, but I felt that it could be better to apply near the cuticle line.

Não é segredo nenhum que sou muito fã de vernizes nudes e este fala-me ao coração :D. Não é um nude beige porque tem um certo subtom acastanhado (cappucino hehe) que o deixa bastante elegante numa manicure. A aplicação correu da melhor forma porque a formula é boa e pigmentada, se bem que tive alguma dificuldade a fazer o contorno da unha (talvez porque a formula é ligeiramente mais pigmentada e consequentemente mais espessa que o normal).

Mollon Pro Extrême 06 Cappucino has such an elegant color that I decided it would be nice to show you a nail art that can be used in occasions such as a wedding or a formal party; I think this nail art is elegant but still quite feminine and glamorous. To achieve the look, I pretty much just dabbed the gorgeous gold glitter that is Il Était Un Vernis Live, Laugh Love near the cuticles  using its own brush. Ohhh I love this so much!!

O tom nude do verniz Mollon Pro Extême 06 Cappucino é tão elegante que optei por fazer uma manicure que considero perfeita para ocasiões especiais como casamentos, festas formais, etc. Acho que ficou uma manicure bastante elegante mas com um toque feminino de glamour. Para alcançar este resultado, basicamente só dei pancadinhas com o pincel do glitter dourado (lindo!) junto à linha das cutículas. O glitter é o Il Était Un Verniz Live, Love, Laugh. Adoreiii esta manicure! <3
