Messy Mansion MM 53 Stamping Plate Review

You know I recently received four of the newest Messy Mansion stamping plates to review, yay! :) By new, I mean they were released in May, but since they take some time to arrive the store and then cross the world to me... yeah, most probably you have already purchased some of them haha :)

Concerteza que sabem que recebi recentemente quatro das novas placas lançadas pela Messy Mansion, yay! :) Aliás, por novas entenda-se lançadas em fins de Maio hehe... isto porque entre serem lançadas, chegarem à  loja e cruzarem o Mundo e chegarem às minhas mãos demora algum tempo :p Entretanto, vocês se calharam até já compraram algumas delas e tudo haha! 

Messy Mansion MM 53 is an interesting and unusual stamping plate. Unusual due to the designs. There's quite large (can easily fit two nails) images and they follow this awesome gates theme. I don't think I ever saw a plate etched this way and I love it! Stamping itself is flawless and in the negative side, the borders are sharp and I cut myself when applying to much pressure. Yes, that was a bummer but quick filling will solve that (although Messy Mansion should already have a protective back).

A placa de carimbo Messy Mansion MM 53 é deveras interessante e incomum! Isto devido aos desenhos. O tema da placa é "portões" e os padrões são largos (alguns cabem em duas unhas!) e giros! Adorei a forma como fizeram a placa :) O carimbar em si é fantástico, sem qualquer imperfeição! :) O único lado negativo é que as arestas são afiadas e cortei-me quando fiz pressão na placa bahhh... mas, isto resolve-se lixando as arestas com uma lima/buffer (claro que uma marca desta qualidade já deveria ter uma base protectora). 

The first nail art was of course with a gates idea in my mind haha! So, I created this abstract background to look as if you're seeing a garden through cloudy windows; the polishes used were Essie Nothing Else Metals and piCture pOlish Chillax. Then I stamped the gates pattern with DRK Nails Marrom Metálico stamping polish ad freehanded the counters using a thin brush and the same brown polish. I quite liked this! :)

Na primeira nail art que fiz não podia deixar de usar o desenho do portão e fazer algo alusivo ao tema em si. Então, criei uma base assim a modos que abstracta... como se estivéssemos a ver um jardim do portões por entre janelas embaciadas (só na minha cabeça é que um portão tem janelas lol). Na base usei os vernizes piCture pOlish Chillax e Essie Nothing Else Metals. Para carimbar e desenhar o contorno da unha, usei o verniz de carimbo DRK Nails Marrom Metálico. Gostei! :)

This other manicure was also done with the other gates pattern - I cannot pick my favorite! It started with two coats of Kiko Quick Dry 82 Mirtillo, followed by two more of Penélope Luz Yoga (a beautiful purple glitter with purple base). Then I stamped using Mundo de Uñas 60 Fantasy stamping polish.

A nail art seguinte foi também feita com o segundo desenho de portões, não deu para resistir :p Tudo começou com duas camadas do verniz Kiko Quick Dry 829 Mirtillo, seguido de duas camadas do verniz artesanal Penélope Luz Yoga (base jelly cheia de glitter roxo holográfico). Carimbei depois também em roxo com o verniz de carimbo Mundo de Uñas 60 Fantasy.
